#5 American-made quality tech and gear from back in the day when pronouns and equity didn't matter and NASA and the aerospace industry built amazing stuff because only the best materials and people, regardless of race/gender/religion, were used.

Today, not so much! Credentials from formerly trusted institutions these days are suspect on any body less than 15-20 years in the field! Make of it what you will, but I got this old by being a tad paranoid.
