Have a Colt 10mm Delta Elite and loved 230gr ammo 36,000FP/Sq inch at 50 ft ammo. A good Boar Hunting backup.

But the 23lb recoil slide spring was a major issue in hot weather with sweaty hands.

So I converted it to 40cal shooting 200gr.

#2 I like my Coonan Classic 1911 in .357 Mag. It also has a recoil spring that will quickly prove you are or are not in possession of a good grip and upper arm strength. Since they aren't made anymore, I don't want to use it much as it's a bit collectible.
