#2 Former FBI agent....Liddy was "the undercover operative whose bungling of the Watergate break-in triggered one of the gravest constitutional crises

Yes, the foto might indicate some lack of repentance. Some things apparently do not change.

#3 In college, I saw him and Timothy Leery speak -- in the same room, at the same time. Interesting event, and Liddy was the more engaging of the two speakers.

#4 He used to have a very good radio talk show. And his memoir 'Will' was quite interesting. Then there was his 'conspiracy theory' about John Dean, which I have to admit made better sense than what has been purveyed as the true story.

#5 I stumbled upon his book Will as a teenager at a used bookstore. Enjoyed it and then stumbled upon his radio show which was entertaining as well. He also wrote a book entitled When I Was Young This Was A Free Country or something akin to that. Perhaps it should be reissued now as a reminder of how far our freedoms have been eroded and attacked. He led an interesting life and I remember him saying (paraphrase) "I did not want simply to endure, but to prevail." His post-Watergate and post-prison life bore that out. RIP.

#6 Interesting guy OK. But Nixon should have left him twisting in the wind.
