#2 I couldn't care less about a state of the union address 60-some days after being installed as prez. But some kind of address to the nation might not be a bad idea, even 10 minutes, if Joey is up to the task.

#3 The State of the Union Address (sometimes abbreviated to SOTU) is an annual message[1] delivered by the president of the United States to the U.S. Congress near the beginning of each calendar year on the current condition of the nation.[2] The message typically includes reports on the nation's budget, economy, news, agenda, achievements and the president's priorities and legislative proposals.[3]

The address fulfills the requirement in Article II, Section 3, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution for the President to periodically "give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient."[1] During most of the country's first century, the President primarily submitted only a written report to Congress. After 1913, Woodrow Wilson, the 28th U.S. President, began the regular practice of delivering the address to Congress in person as a way to rally support for the President's agenda.[1] With the advent of radio and television, the address is now broadcast live across the country on many networks.[4]

#12 Inaugurations used to be in March as well with the SOTU (in whatever format) later in the year.

Did Trump give a SOTU oration after he took office in 2017? I don't know/remember and haven't looked. But the Constitution doesn't have any exact day for the SOTU.

I really don't care if he gives a SOTU or not. A month or two into the job (any job, anywhere) isn't enough time to get a handle on anything, be it Senile Joey or anybody else.
