#1 "Getting young people voting early makes them voters for life". Add the unborn."They should have a say in their own future".

#4 If they're 'adult' enough at 16, then lower age for access to guns, alcohol, tobacco, and p*rn. While you are at it, lower the age of 'consent'.

#5 I was dumber than when I was sixteen when I was fourteen...

#6 Why not raise the voting age? Age is not necessarily a good criterion for voting. What about a knowledge of the political process, government, the Constitution, history and those who are running as a criteria for voting?

let's clean-up the voting process to get rid of illegal voting and voting fraud. Let's also keep foreign money out of our elections. PACs aren't such a great idea either.

Yang and pandering for the youth vote. Whatever the Yin side is, I'll take that.

#7 Anyone saying we need to do this needs to be thrown out of office and banned from having anything sharper than a crayon.

#8 Why not raise the voting age?

It was originally 21. Then because of the active draft and utes 18 to 21 were dying in Southeast Asia, they amended the law. Should have just restricted the lowering to those in the service. However, you know the Donks, they didn't let the opportunity to stuff the ballot box go by.

#9 Honestly, I would be in favor of raising the voting age to twenty-one. Almost all legal rights besides voting cannot be exercised until a person turns 21 anyways. Why should people be allowed to vote when they are basically children (I know that an 18 year old is perfectly capable of being an adult, but that is in cultures that raise them to be adults, not in our culture, where they are babied and treated like children, sometimes until well after even they are 21).

#10 The Dems next trick is to make it easy to vote by proxy so teachers can just handle the votes for the kids that never seem to get around to it. Assign the teacher as your proxy is worth 50% of your grade...
