#2 I believe the term would be kidnapping. They removed a minor from their authorized guardian with no notice against her will. I'd file kidnapping charges. I also think child kidnapping should once again carry the federal death penalty.

Nah, just following procedures. According to the 3-ring binder, when you're overbooked, you chose a random passenger, boot them off the plane and offer them a ride on the next plane out. It's all there is black and white. No need for brains, thinking or common sense.
In other news, more workers doing rote procedural-driven tasks are finding themselves displaced by robots.
And yes, a kidnapping lawsuit would be most entertaining.

#6 Yeah, go after the group who approves/reviews the SOPs for not including in their boot passenger guide an exemption for anyone not old enough/unable to book a hotel room.
