Dude, can we please stick to The Narrative? This is all about Trump bullying some woman. Nothing to do with Germany lining up alternate gas suppliers or getting out from under the thumb of Russia.

Yes that's pretty much it, and it makes a lot of sense to diversify. U.S, LNG is currently more expensive than Russian gas, but this could change pretty soon.
Actually LNG is a good idea for the next decades.
