#1 Not even 1/32. And the DNA her's was compared to was Mexican, Columbian, and Peruvian. She's more like 1/2024. Less than most white Americans. 1/1024 "Native American" indirectly derived from South American genetic markers is "proof" of Native heritage? Which means she's more Hispanic than Beto.

Why Utah and not Oklahoma which is where Warren's was born? Why not compare her to the general white
population of the US?

Also one should expect the statistical genetic makeup of Utah's white population to be somewhat different from the makeup of the general white population of the US due to a couple of generations of practiced polygamy in the 19th century.

Trump insults woman over claims of Native American ancestry; demands a DNA test
Woman gets DNA test which *proves* she has Native American DNA; In yer face, Trump!
No mention of any numbers whatsoever

I understand that modern non-African humans have something in the neighborhood of 1-2% Neanderthal DNA. Judging by the rather dubious numbers (0.1 to 1.6%) being tossed around, Warren is more caveman than Cherokee.
