#3 Smart move? If the Democrats retake the House (and that seems to be at least a possibility) they'll have an easy excuse for filing articles of impeachment against Trump (which will die in the Senate anyway, so they are useless).

#7 There has been a mention that Huber reports directly to Sessions and not to Rosenstein. Moreover, there have been suggestions that the reason we are not hearing about the clean-up is that it is ongoing; investigation and development of cases for prosecution. There is this: Referral. It's unclear what the status of these referrals are?
