#1 You mean like sneaking your submarines into their waters and harbors?

#2 If you weren't acting like such a dick, they'd never consider it.

#6 (1) It is not as if NATO would do anything to defend them. Russia would cut off German gas supplies and Germany would fight for a peaceful resolution over armed conflict and the countries would be occupied. (2) Nations that happen to be members of NATO might act to defend Sweden and Finland even without any kind of NATO response.
So having them join NATO may be pointless anyway.

#7 Surely just joining the EUSSR was the key to peace?

#8 Russia views NATO as an aggressive pact of hostile nations that ganged up on them. They have historical reasoning for this track of mind.

They felt off game after the fall, but Our intervention in the Balkans convinced them that we were setting roots too close to home.

Ergo, they let lose with Abkhazia and S-Osiettia. Georgia so to speak.

Then we threatened to prevent that port, so they invaded Ukraine. Pretty easy math from the Kremlin perspective.

#9 Also, What If I want better relations with Russia but have given them no reason to want them. I re-explore this even though I know they have a dis-ingenious way of going about business.

But is worth a re-look with Every Executive.
