#1 We're on the cusp of spring here, in north Texas. Flowering trees are flowering, dormant lawns are awakening, and the weeds have been sprouting for several weeks.

I wish the Northeast had some more global warming!

#3 The power came back on 1 hour ago after a 44 hour outage.

We can handle it if we know that it's coming but it is a royal pain in the ass. Heating with the fire place, no water (thank goodness we filled the bathtubs) 20 years ago it was still an adventure, at almost 70 it sucks big time.

AND THERE WAS NO RANTBURG AVAILABLE!!!!
