#2 I think a bit of akido would be better. Eastern European nations should simply draw up a mutual defense pact clear of NATO and western Europe and talk to the Russians about purchasing military vehicles.

This would help the Russians with their paranoia problems and give them a large customer at the same time.

#4 Personally, I'm interpreting as a slow surrender of the US-NATO/EU to the concept of Western + Eastern JudeoChristianity, or at least Christianity, creating a PCorrect-Deniable bulwark or bastion agz Hard Boy penetration into Europe vee the Black Sea Region + peripherals.

As per the still-escalating US-vs-China situation in East Asia + Pacific, GUAM-WESTPAC demands to be monitored + bombed by Darth Vlad + his LR "BEAR" Bombers to deter China - simil NATO-EU can accept Russian control of the Crimea, iff not 1/2 or most of the Black Sea Region, to help NATO-EU deter the Hard Boyz.
