#2 Shorter version: Hamas prepared for a long time for their assault, so more of hamas needs to be killed, and more destruction of their infrastructure (tunnels etc) and command structure, in order to degrade their capabilities. So Irael, needs to keep operating. Perhaps clearing a 1 Km zone along the border, a "dead zone" and barrier system might become necessary.

Screw Gaza and the terrorism supporters there.

#4 The Viet Cong and Regulars had a tunnel war going on in Viet Nam. Hamas seems to be going in that direction.

Just fill the tunnels with sea water, then run a current through it. I'm sure it'll do the job -- IF it's a big enough current.

#7 Not CO2 or H2S - propane 10% mix, then ignite. Easy to find where the other ends are - observation drones can spot the buildings that explode.
