Birds don't always listen to reason.
Their wheezin' is often displeasin'.
They're not very quick
To pick up a new trick.
Thank goodness they sizzle and season.

If chirpin' don't make the heart quicken,
There's always a mess of fried chicken.
The pile on the platter
Gets gradually flatter;
Your midriff commences to thicken.
