#2 Nothing good will come out of this. Internally the republicans are a fighting mess. Externally their messages seem child like and amateurish, and in a no win situation. The Republicans need to fix their party, like we called for in 08. The way it stands the Dems will own the white house for another 8 years if the republicans don't get their acts together...

#5 Why does the House have to 'defund'? All appropriations must originate in the House.
1-just don't fund it.
2-do like the Donks, misappropriate it like the Social Security tax since the 1960s. All the toys and special interests funding goes into Obamacare eating it up. Oops, no more money to fund the crony subcontractors.

#7 Not all the Republicans in the Senate are guaranteed to vote to defund. Many more of them are old-fashioned, big government types, who would rather be collegial than win. (Yes, I am thinking of Senator McCain. Why do you ask?)

#8 Be interesting to see if the Senate Dems all line up. Some of the traditional dem constituencies like labor are starting to choke on one realities of O-care. (Suckers!)
