#1 Recently (the past few weeks), the IRS and FBI raided Pilot Oil/Flying J headquarters in Knoxville presumably because of an alleged phony rebate scheme. Maybe. It just happens that the Governor of Tennessee is one of the Haslam's (founders and owners of Pilot). It also happens the governor and the family are Republicans.

#4 Indian Rosewood is the second most (after teak) planted tree for timber harvesting in India. Widely used in tea plantations for shade.
I haven't seen any evidence that the wood seized from Gibson was taken from forests, legally or otherwise.
