#2 I said it long ago when this was happening in Zimbabwae and the head of South Africa made sympathetic sounds towards Bob. Any white fellow in South Africa should be seriously considering moving pronto.

Australia and the US should make it easy for them to come and avoid the genocide.

#4 I could be tragically wrong, but I believe Madiba's passing will come and go with little if anything changing. Due to extremely high crime and government enforced Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) the brain drain continues. While not openly advertised or discussed, white engineers, managers, and medical professionals are highly sought after by hiring managers in municipalities, industry, and business.

A parallel might be found in Atlanta. Here, if you want high quality, professional masonry and stone work done... find an amigo. Been that way for years. Nearly everyone brings something to the game.

#5 I agree wid #3 - in the absence of any unity on the part of its various peoples I anticipate SA to devol + break-up into smaller race-based sovereign States than as at present.

#6 the brain drain continues

Not just brain drain of trained workers. I've met several offspring sent abroad for university or to work as au pairs, who were told by their parents to find some way to settle abroad. The parents felt they couldn't leave, for whatever reason, but the insisted on giving their children a chance. Much like what the Copts have been doing, in fact.
