#3 These journalists seem to forget that entry level jobs are not meant to be for a lifetime, and therefore need not be capable of supporting an adult lifestyle of home, family, and retirement. The whole purpose of an entry level job is to get enough training to move up to something with which one can support a home, family, and retirement. That's how it worked in the old days, anyway.

So more than 87% of future jobs will be entry level? That is for a household of 3. So Americans can forget about a the one wage earner, stay at home spouse and 2 kids. A nation of burger flippers and investment bankers.
