#4 At just 25 whe was likely one of the few who were not yet tenured and actually could be laid off, so as to protect the pay and benefits of the tenured. If they were truly socialist, wouldn't the senior people all take pay cuts so the junior people would still have jobs? Of course if they were fully capitalist the senior people would all work more hours to make up for the loss of the junior people.
