#4 Girl Thursday, there may have been only two comments, but I am certain that many of the 'burgers we're privileged to have here have said a little prayer for the gentleman, and/or given thanks for the fact that we still have heroes among us whether we deserve them or not.

#5 Point well taken Cornsilk Blondie. While I agree my complaint is towards an end, for illustrative purpose:

Many Republicans it seems to me, assume everyone knows how kind, caring, and good they are. This sadly means that they are misunderstood, and labeled as the 'creeps' that Angupers other article mentions by lefties and swing voters alike.

Republicans: it falls to you to sell the niceness. For the next elections, if you don't sell the sizzle, people will liken you to the bumper sticker 'Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're an asshole.' Worse, you might get lumped in the same category as Rush Limbaugh, who many wish were dead.

I wish Republicans pols took this one piece of advice: show you care till it hurts, kill em with kindness you assume everyone can see and you may get more swing voters in the next election based off that alone.
