Threatening to consider further actions, eh? They'll be shaking in their boots, they will. Question: Given the annoyance and threat that Iran poses to the West, what possible interest could Russia and China have in supporting sanctions?

#2 ...that Iran nuclear armed missiles will reach both countries before they reach the US and that Iran is not a rational player.

#4 No, Iran is a convenient tool for Russia to keep the West and the rest of the Mid East off balance, plus making the bear a somewhat indispensable trading partner and figure of influence.

Same for the Chinese, tho with more emphasis on the latter parts, plus access to Iran's resources.
