#3 FOTSGreg - don't underestimate the Fiji military. They are quite capable of taking care of a Ranger company without breaking a sweat. The Brits used Fijians in Burma, much to the horror of the Japanese. Even the Ghurkas respect them.

#4 OP, it was a joke. However, if the US Army or Marines really wanted to, I'm sure they could still make very short work of the Fiji military.

The second part of the comment was not a joke. Where are the countries who were supposedly prepping forces in case of just such a coup?
