#1 I wouldn't be too concerned about The Da Vinci Code or other books Cardinal Arinze. You might better spend your time looking after the homosexual and pedifile situation among your priestly colleagues.

#2 amen, B. As a Catholic I think these efforts are stupid, counterproductive, and should be better spent in rousting the evil among the clergy. Start with Mahoney and Law

#3 You know if you bring back the inquisition and lop a few heads off, they'll pay more attention to you. Its been shown to work with the loud mouth self-important hollyweird types. Note how much effort they've put into offending the Religion of Peace [tm] by portraying the actual acts of mayhem and destruction. Learn and apply.

#7 I agree w/#1&2.

Hey Cardinal, how about just boycotting the film and not paying to see it? In the mean time how about rooting out all the short eyes in your own house?

Arinze's not a very smart pr guy. If he was truly slick/savvy he'd just call the film a theologically irrelevant piece of fiction and actually encourage people to go see it and enjoy it for the hollywood entertainment it really is. Instead, by making a stink about it he will encourage the opposite effect.

#8 Forget the movie, start paying attention to what's happening in Belgium.
