#1 My take...

There are A) religious people, B) people who have religion in their lives, C) people who have no religion in their lives, and D) anti-religious people. The A group, as I define the terms, put "X" (Insert diety here) in the driver's seat and blindly follow what they are taught / ordered to do. The B group uses religion as a reference, a model, a ruleset, a guide employing the tenets of their religion. The C group, of which I am a member, contains a range of people - most of whom have cherry-picked the world's religions and ideologies to build a custom set of ideas and rules - and employ it just the same as B. The D group demonizes the A group just as the A group demonizes them. B & C are very similar in practice. Only A & D actually cause concern among rational people.

The Dhimmis don't "get it" now and they won't "get it" tomorrow. Any attempt to fake it will be transparent to B & C - they are our society's Bullshit Detectors.

$0.02. Dhimmis owe me change or a refund.

#2 .com excellent analysis...but.....I think you missed a category that includes lots of people including myself. Call it B) subset A. They have experienced real life events that show them that there is more beyond just the here and now.

It's not "religion in their lives"' but an understanding of something deeper that cannot be explained in words.

It's a bit like love. (I know you love your dau) People who have never been in love say, "how do you know if you are in love". People who have been in love say, "you just know", but they can't describe it. It's there, you know it if it's there - but you can't "explain" it to others. It's a wonderful deep experience filled with joy and good emotions.

I say this -not to get convert or to enlighten- but just to make a point. In regards to Dems trying to speak the language of religion, Dems are like seven year olds discussing puppy love. How can I make Tommy love me? ...or ..How can I show Tommy I love him? It's cute..but clueless. Those who have experienced "love" or spiritual awareness share a knowledge of what they have. They can discuss it on real terms with real emotions but only to others who have experienced it. Like discussions of love -if you've had it you understand, and those who haven't don't. Dems (as noted here) don't get it and to anyone who does, these pretenders are painfully obvious.

#3 You can slice up B into degrees if you like, heh.

Lots of people find love hard to define... you wouldn't like my def since it tends toward the pragmatic and minimalist side - and no, it's not a snarky sex comment, lol!

I'll presume you're referring to "belief" - a topic I know about but, indeed, have not experienced. I used to play golf with a Southern Baptist preacher - a very smart guy, a very nice guy, semi-charismatic, played once a month - and we "argued" belief for 18 holes every time, lol! So I can debate with you, but that's not constructive, as I tried to tell him every time - something you already recognize. Either you've "felt" it or you haven't Me, nope. You, Yes! And good for you, too, heh. I will never denigrate that which I have not experienced - as long as it isn't being forced onto anyone and serves some good (such as peace of mind for the believer) i.e is victimless.

It's those pushy types at the poles, "Believe or die!" and it's opposite but equally deranged, "We will bury you!" which get my dander up, heh.

Together, we'll smoke out the phonies - of all stripes, lol!

Peace - and have a very Merry Christmas!

#4 I only bring it up because lots of people believe. And when Dems try to pooh, pooh, or demean, they are only convincing themselves.

But having once been a non-believer myself, I'd wager that they don't believe and are only trying to convince themselves ..or to get votes :-)

#7 The Dhimmis are certainly not above anything to get back into power. And I mean anything. Sad, pathetic lot. I hope they are so steamed with PEST and BDS they form a hate cloud of misty-eyed drips, dry the fuck up, and blow away, heh.
