#4 While I was a squid, I participated in a UNITAS cruise, which involved near continuous naval operations with nearly ten Latin American navies - sometimes with several foreign ships from different countries simultaneously. Depending on what types of exercises are planned these drills can be real white-knuckle experiences. I would recommend that alongside replenishment drills and gun-shoots be avoided.

As for the evolving French position, a Sino-Franco pact is quite possible. We need to make contingencies to dissolving NATO immediately if this goes any farther. IMO participating in alliance with an enemy is extremely ill advised and dangerous.
