#2 The fact that we're hearing nothing at all indicates something big is about to happen. What it is I can't even imagine, but I think the majority of CENTCOM's personnel are busy planning, training, equipping, and they just don't feel the need to tell anybody what they're doing. My dad used to tell me that the best way to know the Germans in WWII were up to something was that it would become quiet on the battlefield. We'll see if that advice still holds in by what happens - or doesn't happen - in the coming few weeks.
