#1 But... but if everyone makes drugs legal in their States, these people can become legitimate entrepreneurs, and exporters. They will enter the free market economy, have quality ratings... whaddayaknow, TV Ads !

#2 High drug prices (stemming from their illegality) and thus profits fund the armed gangs so yes it will limit their ability.

#7 Read long ago that steady prices means interdiction is not working.A successful war on drugs would limit supply thus resulting in higher prices.

Personally. I think drugs should be legal, BUT while you are high you are treated as mentally ill at your own cost, and away from society.
