#9 That's the issue Slaithe, they are not escaping the hell of that religion, they're bringing it with them like the Black Death. I used to have alot of compassion for people. But then the more I learn about people, the more I feel that what they truly deserve is being on the wrong end of a flamethrower. Humans are feral if they're not properly civilized and it's clear alot of people on this planet are not. Perhaps they never will be. But I'm not responsible for the choices they make and neither is my nation. And as they clearly are refusing to accept responsibility of their choices, it doesn't mean we have to clean up their mess.

#12 Hrm, let me think.....oh, they could follow the example of our founding fathers and stay there to fight and fix their own country. That'd be a novel change from what usually happens. And the fact that their parents are flaming idiots means the kid will suffer. Same as it's always been. Why should MY kid give up his future just because some one decided to give up theirs? The universal punishment for stupidity/bad choices has always been harsh. The universe is not here to coddle us. If someone jumps off the cliff, no matter how bad anyone else feels about it, it doesn't repeal the laws of physics and prevent them from going splat.

#13 merkel has earned her participation trophy; now send her off to retirement. I am sure over history there was always one world leader who suggested the do nothing or surrender option in the hopes the world would be better. Unfortunately today it appears the room is full of them. Merkel watched on television the results in Paris of her appeasement and she knows first hand that she has neither succeeded in securing the refugees safety nor Europe's citizens. Epic And predicted failure.

You want to help them, then return to colonialism and sit on them back home. It appears that the alternative to some colonialism is something even worse for everyone. Time to pull your collective head and hearts out of your ass and deal with facts rather than fantasies and wishes. You want the benefits of Western Civ but the very act of what is being done is to destroy that very Western Civ.

#18 OK. Maybe not. A simplistic person like myself would tend to think that Merkel's primary responsibility is the security of the German people. But maybe she doesn't think so. Maybe she believes that she is there to serve some higher cause. So what is that higher cause? European Unity? International Socialism? The Brotherhood of Man? OWG/NWO? Feathering the nests of the wealthy? If I was a German right about now I'd have a problem with that.
