#2 If the meeting was successful, all the governors would have emerged and announced that Joe underperformed at the debate because he was doing all-nighters to cram for defending his doctoral dissertation on foreign policy and civil rights. That didn’t happen. Neither did staffer leaks that he had told them he was dropping out. The meeting was a mediocre show akin to a Kathy Griffin comedy special on TNT.
