#1 Preprint. Be careful about accepting anything until its been checked (and be aware of who is doing the checking and what motives they may have). But taking Vit D supplements and simply getting sunshine and fresh air isnt a bad idea anyway.

#3 Grom, the people lying with statistics thus far have generally been the ones trying to "prove" that simple, cheap treatments like HCQ and Vitamin D don't work and we need to Lock Down And Wait For the Vaccine And Bill Gates' Mark of the Beast instead. I'm going to take vitamin D in the meantime.

#5 what is truly sad is that I don't think that NIH or CDC or the Surgeon General will say,

'take one or two pills of D each day, especially if you have dark skin because it will help prevent the virus'

I think they won't say it because then some people will say, 'why didn't you tell us this back in February' and others will be angry because they want to blame racism for the high death rate in Black areas and the vitamin D thing ruins their narrative

#6 So sorry Thing, but I wrote a term paper for naturopathy student a few years ago. The idea was, since so many treatments use vitD as supplement - maybe it, by itself would be enough (the natural way!!!). Turned out, any treatment involving steroids depletes vitD - and that's why D supplements go with treatments.
But you can take as much as you want - you'll just piss the excess.
