#8 Yet another story about cops over-doing it. Are we seeing another media play here? My spider sense is tingling...

Over the long term, whether they show up in the media or not, I would expect more over-copping incidents, particularly in urban areas. The various anti-police efforts will drive the decent cops away to better working environments. That leaves the ones who enjoy being jerks. Plus more affirmative action hires like Officer Taser in Minnesota who really should be in another line of work.
