#1 Absurd. But there is so much virtue signaling going on, not sure why California even needs this absurdity.

#2 Clearly more evidence of a cultural metamorphosis, as if more evidence were actually needed.

#3 Resistance to change, rather. If the culture really had changed, the shops would have already done this on their own.

#4 Let us standardize shoe sizes while we are at it. No more men's and women's shoes and all sizes should use the European metric system . I'm looking for ancient Roman style hobnail sandals. Sark/off

#5 Ah, but there's an advantage to the store, if not the consumer. It'll take longer to find what you're looking for so you're more likely to make more impulse purchases.

But I doubt the shopper in my house would agree that is a benefit.

#6 why have men's and women's clothing separated? why not sell a government-mandated gray woolen unisex jumpsuit?

#8 Except for the inability to try things on (absurdly impossible now anyway as changing rooms are closed), this absurdity just might drive even more people to online, if that's even possible.

But, just let California be California. Like the a market bubble (real estate, stocks), that Liberal stupidity bubble will pop one day. 'When' is the question.

#9 3 Resistance to change, rather. If the culture really had changed, the shops would have already done this on their own.

This. No one understands the pop culture better than the people who market clothing to children and their moms. He buyers for Gap, Target, Abercrombie etc make their living spotting trends. They have realtime data about every trend imaginable and they're immersed in that data, 24/7.

The fact that the state, not the market, is coercing this change tells you all you need to know.

= More BS virtue signaling from our retarded political class.
