In the East China Sea, I have argued that China's true focii in its dispute wid Japan over the Senkakus/Diaoyus is ITS FINAL RECOVERY + CONTROL OF TAIWAN FROM THE US- the Senkakus/Diaoyus + Okinawa, etc. ECS islands are intended to cover the Air-Sea-Space approaches to + from China's future PLA Milbases there.
