Biden Chief of Staff's Daughter Asked DOJ to Deploy Federal Monitors for Arizona Audit
[Breitbart] Hannah Klain, daughter of President Joe Biden’s powerful Chief of Staff Ron Klain, recently signed a letter urging the Justice Department to deploy federal monitors to monitor the Arizona State Senate’s audit of 2020 presidential votes in Maricopa County.

The letter, from three groups — the Brennan Center for Justice, the Leadership Conference Education Fund, and Protect Democracy — was sent last week to the Justice Department, expressing concern that the auditors are "engaged in ongoing and imminent violations of federal voting and election laws."

"[W]e request that you send federal monitors as soon as practicable to the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum," the letter said. "Ballots that are protected under federal law are in imminent danger of being subject to unlawful voter intimidation as a result of flawed audit procedure."

Klain signed the letter in her capacity as the Equal Justice Works Selbin Family Fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law.

The letter implied the Arizona state senate’s review of the 2020 presidential election results is illegitimate, using the term "so-called audit" and putting the word "audit" in parentheses. It also complained about the firm commissioned to conduct the work, Cyber Ninjas and its subcontractors.

Klain and other co-signers said they believe:

Stunning Admission – Maricopa County, Arizona Election Officials Did NOT Have Control Over Ballot Counting Machines
[Conservative Treehouse] In the latest update from Maricopa County, former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett explains that county election officials have admitted they did not control the ballot counting machines. Additionally, Bennett explains the progress of the ballot audit and what the next steps are likely to be.

"Officials in Maricopa County, Arizona were forced to acknowledge they did not have any control over the voting machines during the 2020 elections. One America’s Christina Bobb spoke with Senate spokesman Ken Bennett to get the details."

St. Louis circuit attorney denies misconduct charges stemming from Greitens probe
[StlToday] Another one of Soros' pet bitches DA's is gonna take the fall. She's also the one persecuting the McCloskeys
ST. LOUIS — Missouri’s chief disciplinary counsel has accused St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly M. Gardner of professional misconduct stemming from her office’s 2018 investigation of former Gov. Eric Greitens, according to records obtained by the Post-Dispatch.

An ethics investigation resulted in allegations of professional misconduct against Gardner, alleging she concealed details about the Greitens investigation from her own team regarding interview notes with witnesses, failed to disclose potentially favorable evidence to Greitens’ attorneys, and misrepresented facts about evidence to the court, defense lawyers and ethics investigators.

The allegations are outlined in pleadings filed March 1 by Chief Disciplinary Counsel Alan Pratzel and sealed until Tuesday after Gardner had time to respond to the charges. The Missouri Supreme Court Advisory Committee and Legal Ethics Counsel provided the Post-Dispatch with records of the case Wednesday.

Gardner’s lawyer, Michael Downey, responded April 30, denying the claims against her and calling them "another attempt by Ms. Gardner’s political enemies — largely from outside St. Louis — to remove Ms. Gardner and thwart the systemic reforms she champions."

Gardner didn’t hide her role in the investigation and produced all notes taken during witness interviews, Downey said.

Gardner’s office also released a statement this week saying she complied with the law during the Greitens investigation.

"Despite several investigations attempting to uncover illegal wrongdoing by her office in this case, none has ever been found," the statement said. "We are confident that a full review of the facts will show that the Circuit Attorney has not violated the ethical standards of the State of Missouri."

The complaint against Gardner says she has no previous disciplinary history, is in good standing with the Missouri Bar and has held her license since Sept. 29, 2004.

A disciplinary panel will hear Gardner’s case and make a recommendation to the Missouri Supreme Court, which could issue a reprimand, suspension or revocation of her law license. The court could also decide to take no action. A hearing for Gardner’s case hasn’t been set.

Records say Gardner sought to seal or stay the disciplinary proceedings, arguing that it would interfere with a pending case and impair her ability to run the circuit attorney’s office.

The disciplinary case against Gardner delves into allegations in a 2018 ethics complaint filed by Greitens’ lawyers that Gardner and William Don Tisaby, the ex-FBI agent she hired to investigate the governor, misled the defense and the court about notes taken during interviews with Greitens’ accuser.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms Is Throwing in the Towel
[PJ] Controversial Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms says she doesn’t want to run for re-election, despite polls showing her easily winning.

In 2017, Bottoms won by 800 votes. But a serious cyberattack during her first year in office, and the subsequent Black Lives Matter riots and protests, convinced her that it was time to go.

There’s been speculation that there are other reasons for her not to run. Rumors of a family crisis and a coming scandal in her administration have observers looking for an alternate reason. But Bottoms led Atlanta during one of the most turbulent times since the Civil War and with the pandemic coming on top of the riots, she may have felt she didn’t have anything left in the tank.

Jen 'Circle Back' Psaki Drops Big News About Fleeing the Sinking Ship
[Red State] White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki dropped a big bomb during an interview that she did with David Axelrod on his podcast.

Turns out she’s planning on fleeing the sinking ship fairly soon.

According to Mediaite, Psaki told Axelrod that she would be leaving the Biden team soon during an hour long interview.
Psaki’s comments came during a conversation with host David Axelrod (with whom she worked during the Obama administration) that she is undaunted by the challenge and the responsibility (which she says she loves), but when she discussed the role with the Biden transition team, it was about serving roughly a one-year term. "I think it’s going to be time for somebody else to have this job, in a year from now or about a year from now," she said.

Translation: take this job and shove it, I didn’t get how bad it would be to have to keep justifying this guy and his continuous gaffes.

Now Mediaite tries to help her out, claiming that only serving a year wasn’t "that out of the ordinary," noting that the Trump Administration went through four press secretaries. But funny, how when that was happening, some in media attacked that as showing disarray.

Dem Megadonors, Officials Financially Tied to Electric Bus Company Boosted by Biden
[Free Beacon] Energy secretary Jennifer Granholm is not the only prominent Democrat with financial ties to an electric bus company repeatedly boosted by the Biden administration, documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show.

Nicholas and Joby Pritzker—members of Illinois Democratic governor J.B. Pritzker's megadonor family—own nearly 12 million shares of ArcLight through their venture capital fund, Tao Capital. ArcLight in January announced a $1.6 billion merger with Proterra, which will see the electric vehicle manufacturer go public in 2021. Granholm served on Proterra's board for nearly four years and still holds up to $5 million in company stock.

National Economic Council director Brian Deese is also tied to Proterra through BlackRock, the investment giant where he worked as global head of sustainable investing before joining the Biden administration. BlackRock is one of several investment firms that pumped a combined $415 million into the Proterra merger, and Deese reported holding more than $2.4 million in BlackRock vested restricted stock in his February financial disclosure. These investors are posed for steep gains, as ArcLight's stock price has surged 50 percent—from $11.90 to $18 per share—since January.

The revelations come as congressional Republicans demand investigations into potential conflicts of interest between the Biden administration and Proterra, which could receive billions in taxpayer funds through a proposed infrastructure package. Rep. Ralph Norman (R., S.C.), who serves as ranking member on the environment subcommittee of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, told the Free Beacon that "the American people deserve to understand the full extent of Secretary Granholm's involvement with Proterra."

New York AG reveals CNN, MSNBC parent companies funded millions of fake net neutrality comments
[FoxNews] The Office of New York Attorney General Letitia James has revealed in a new report that nearly 18 million of the more than 22 million comments the FCC received during its 2017 rulemaking were fake, intended to support the repeal of net neutrality, the idea that internet service providers (ISPs) should provide all online content equally and prevent them from favoring their own services or customers over their competitors.

A $4.2 million effort funded by Broadband for America, which includes major internet providers like AT&T, Comcast and Charter, reportedly accounted for more than 8.5 million of the fake FCC comments. Millions more were submitted by a teenage college student in California.

"The Office of the New York Attorney General (OAG) found that fake comments accounted for nearly 18 million of the more than 22 million comments the FCC received during its 2017 rulemaking," the AG's report reads. "This type of fraud has significant consequences for our democracy. Federal and state agencies rely on public comments to set standards that govern many aspects of our lives, from public health to consumer protection to the environment, and, in this case, the rules that govern how we share and consume content over the internet. Public comments can also influence legislators and the laws they enact."

"The OAG found that millions of fake comments were submitted through a secret campaign, funded by the country’s largest broadband companies, to manufacture support for the repeal of existing net neutrality rules using lead generators," the report continued. "And millions more were submitted by a 19- year old college student using made-up identities. The OAG also found that the FCC’s rulemaking proceeding was not unique. Some of the same parties and tactics have infected other rulemakings and processes for public engagement."

"These illegal schemes are unacceptable," AG James wrote on Twitter.

"Today, we stopped three of these marketing companies from continuing their illegal behavior and recommended reforms to stop this type of fraud in the future," she added. "We will continue to shine a light on abuses and disinformation that drown out the voices of the American people."

The Trump administration's net neutrality repeal, which the FCC referred to as the "Restoring Internet Freedom Order" and which rolled back Obama-era rules, took effect on June 11, 2018. The FCC, led by then-Chairman Ajit Pai, said that their move would replace "unnecessary, heavy-handed regulations dating back to 1934 with strong consumer protections, increased transparency and common-sense regulations that will promote investment and broadband deployment."

FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel condemned the move at the time, arguing that it would give ISPs "the right to discriminate and favor the Internet traffic of those companies with whom they have pay-for-play arrangements and the right to consign all others to a slow and bumpy road."
