Boston's Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu orders cops to dismantle homeless tent city known as 'Methadone Mile'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Plans were announced in August to clear the years-old, sprawling encampments in the Mass and Cass area where violence has been escalating and drug use is rampant

  • Residents told of the start of process to dissolve tent city at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard from November 1

  • Boston city workers began the first of three days of cleaning on Monday to remove more than 75 tents near the troubled intersection

Homelessness has long been an issue in the neighborhood. In January 2022, after notifying people living in the area, city public works employees driving bulldozers loaded tents, tarps and other detritus, including milk crates, wooden pallets and coolers, into trash trucks to be hauled away.

Since then, more than 500 people who were living at the encampment have gone through the city's six low-threshold housing sites, and 149 have moved into permanent housing, city officials said.

Violence in the Mass. and Cass area has reached 'new level of public safety alarm,', Mayor Wu said.

There was an average of seven assaults per week in the neighborhood in which is more than double the average in the rest of the city.

McDonald's insane new prices chart supersized toll of Bidenomics
[NYPOST] Welcome to Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem machine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family...
’s America, where Big Mac extra value meals will run you $18.

Yes, you read that right: The iconic burger-fries-soda combo, once a staple for Americans of every socioeconomic stripe, now costs almost 20 smackers in some spots.

"I’m lovin’ it"? Not likely at these prices.

The hikes sure look like they come thanks to painful and persistent inflation driven by President Biden’s terrible economic policies.

Those have driven prices overall about 15% higher since Biden came in; on essentials like food and energy, they’re up closer to 25%.

Equivalently, think of it as having slashed the income of a typical family by close to $5,000.

Mortgage rates are cruising toward 8% as the median home price hovers near $420,000.

That’s building the economy "from the middle out," as the president likes to claim?

More for groceries and gas, and now some McDonald’s dollar menus where, literally, nothing costs a dollar.

Yes, Mickey D fries are the world’s best. But almost $2.50 for a small (as they can now cost in New York) is insanity.

Government Corruption
Biden exchanged up to 82K pages of emails under pseudonyms while VP: lawsuit
[NYPOST] President Biden sent or received up to 82,000 pages worth of private emails while serving as Barack Obama
If you like your coverage you can keep it...
’s vice president, the National Archives disclosed late Monday as part of a lawsuit brought by a conservative organization.

The Archives revealed that the trove of correspondence spanned all eight years of Biden’s vice presidency and included messages to or from three shadow email addresses: "robinware456@gmail.com," "JRBWare@gmail.com" and "Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov," according to a joint filing with the Georgia-based Southeastern Legal Foundation.

"The fact that as vice-president, Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant... or is that an act?...
sent 82,000 pages of emails from alias email addresses is shocking," Southeastern Legal Foundation General Counsel Kimberly Hermann told The Post.

"The American public has a right to know what is in those emails. SLF remains hopeful that now that we have confirmed that the emails exist, NARA will fulfill its legal obligation and produce them in a timely and transparent manner."

It is unclear what topics are covered in most of the emails or who else was looped in on the messages.

However,
if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning...
at least 10 missives were sent between May 18 and June 15, 2016, and cc’d first son Hunter Biden — with one on May 26 notifying Hunter of a scheduled phone call the next day between the vice president and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the first son’s abandoned laptop shows.

Then-vice presidential aide John Flynn included Hunter on the missives in the months following Joe Biden’s threat in December 2015 to withhold $1 billion in US loan guarantees from Kyiv unless Poroshenko fired Ukrainian Prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma Holdings owner Mykola Zlochevsky.

Mitt Romney, We Hardly Knew Ye
[Federalist] Last month, Mitt Romney announced he will retire from the Senate after one term. Romney, who is 76, cited his age. That was undoubtedly a major consideration for a guy with a platoon of grandchildren.

It’s also true that Romney is unpopular with Utah voters and had no real chance of reelection after becoming the most prominent elected Republican antagonist of Donald Trump. With Romney’s 30-year political career ending with a whimper, there would naturally be a forceful attempt to shape his legacy as something other than a failure.

Fortunately, Romney already made plans for this. The Atlantic’s McKay Coppins, also a practicing Mormon, was already beavering away on a Romney biography that was sure to be sympathetic. Sure enough, very soon after Romney’s retirement announcement, The Atlantic ran a juicy excerpt adapted from the prologue of the forthcoming book. While the excerpt was sympathetic to Romney, in some ways it defied expectations.

The tableau it paints of Romney is something of a caricature. A luxury condo in the Watergate was too painful a commute to the Capitol, and Ann Romney doesn’t like spending time in D.C., so he’s living alone in a $2.4 million townhouse on Capitol Hill. He passes the time by watching Ted Lasso reruns on his 98-inch television while eating salmon sandwiches slathered in ketchup because he doesn’t like salmon. (When it comes to food, the septuagenarian Romney, who has declared his favorite meat is "hot dog," seems to have the maturity of a 7-year-old.)

When that doesn’t stave off the boredom, he invites over a reporter who will keep him company late into the evenings while he "nurse[s] a morbid fascination with his own death, suspecting that it might assert itself one day suddenly and violently," brags about how his compulsive exercise habits are superior to those of his colleagues in the Senate, and breathlessly recites a litany of petty grievances about his fellow Republicans.

FBI Director Wray warns terror threat to Americans at 'whole other level' amid Hamas-Israel conflict
[ConservativeTreehouse] Drop the pretense. If you watch this testimony through the prism of the FBI knowing that domestic violent extremists, Hamas sympathizers and extremist elements of Islam, have been protected by political correctness, and if you accept the Obama administration and the professional political left are aligned specifically with Islamic interests, as expressed by the Muslim Brotherhood (ex CAIR), then this statement today by terrorism manager, FBI Director Chris Wray, looks exactly like what it is – ass covering.

Wray knows the likelihood for a domestic terrorist uprising is higher now than ever before, in part due to the open border risk created by the Obama/Biden administration. This strong likelihood is exactly what our “Slowly at First” (SAF) discussions are all about. The number of extremist elements aligned in support of Hamas is visible in the protests that have erupted nationwide. Director Wray knows this, and he is covering his butt.

The culturally Marxist FBI organization does not and will not do anything to block, impede or stop any terrorist attack that comes from an ideologically protected category of personage. This is why past terror attacks were successful, and how FBI supported domestic terror networks like Antifa are able to operate without concern.

I find it interesting that Director Wray indirectly cites 2011 Operation Red Coalition, as part of his historic context for the involvement of Iran in carrying out assassination efforts inside the U.S. Those assassins came into the USA through the southern border as illegal aliens.

Wikipedia on Operation Red Coalition:
On 11 October 2011, United States officials alleged there was a plot tied to the Iranian government to assassinate Saudi ambassador Adel al-Jubeir in the United States. The plot was referred to as the "Iran assassination plot" or the "Iran terror plot" in the media, while the Federal Bureau of Investigation named the case "Operation Red Coalition".[1][2] Iranian nationals Manssor Arbabsiar and Gholam Shakuri were charged on 11 October 2011 in federal court in New York with plotting to assassinate Al-Jubeir.[3][4][5] According to U.S. officials, the two planned to kill Al-Jubeir at a restaurant with a bomb and subsequently bomb the Saudi embassy and the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C.[6][7] Bombings in Buenos Aires were also discussed. Arbabsiar was arrested on 29 September 2011 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York while Shakuri remained at large.[8] On 24 October 2011, Arbabsiar pleaded not guilty.[9] In May 2013, after pleading guilty, Arbabsiar was sentenced to 25-years imprisonment.[10]

It is debated whether the Iranian government condoned or facilitated the plot; some experts suggested that the planners may be rogue elements within the Iranian secret service.[11]
