-Lurid Crime Tales-
Mini-Madoff admitted that the United States has been using FTX to transfer money to Ukraine and even laundered it back to Democrats in the U.S.
[Daily Caller and WAPO via America First]

According to Daily Caller,

Sam Bankman-Fried, prolific Democratic donor and ex-CEO of now-bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX, funded the campaigns of members of Congress overseeing the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), one of the key bodies tasked with regulating the crypto industry and the subject of Bankman-Fried’s aggressive lobbying.

Bankman-Fried’s FTX is currently under investigation by the CFTC and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) after Bankman-Fried allegedly moved $10 billion in client assets from his crypto exchange to his trading firm Alameda Research, and a liquidity crisis at his exchange which prompted the company to file for bankruptcy. However, prior to the agency’s probe, Bankman-Fried aggressively courted the CFTC — and funded several key lawmakers charged with overseeing the agency, pouring cash into their campaign coffers.

But here’s what’s really interesting about this. Remember all of that money that supposedly went to Ukraine that we couldn’t track? Well, Bankman-Fried admitted that the United States has been using FTX to transfer money to Ukraine and even laundered it back to Democrats in the U.S.

Even the Washington Post reported on Ukraine using crypto:

The Ukrainian government has gathered more than $42 million in cryptocurrency donations since Saturday, plus digital artwork including a limited edition worth roughly $200,000, according to blockchain analytics firm Elliptic. The challenge is how the country cashes in on these assets to fund its war needs.

Amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman Fried has come forward to help a crypto donation project. He humbly announced that FTX will be supporting the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and other communities in collecting crypto donations for the country. The Ukrainian government has received over $60 million in crypto donations from all over the world.

FTX’s CEO, Sam Bankman Fried highlighted that the war in Ukraine has been dragging on. The country is in full need of humanitarian help and access to global financial infrastructure. He also called attention to sanctions and crypto during this kind of situation. He indicated that crypto exchanges should enforce sanctions announced by the government seriously.

FTX has stressed across all of its regulatory and policy efforts, active coordination and communication with regulators and policymakers is crucial to ensuring that laws and rules achieve their intended outcome, reads a letter by FTX.

I seem to remember the RICO Act covers Organized Crime Syndicates.

So will the DOJ arrest the Liberal's, Socialists, and Democrats (LSD's) that that took the illegal $$$, or MEGA $$ fine them, then also force them to refund the illegally obtained funds?

Then there is the question of the legitimacy of holding elected office or positions, given it was obtained in large part by Criminal related activities.

Or May Be..... Shutdown the DNC since it is operating as a Crime Syndicate?

Maher: Seems Like FTX CEO Avoided Scrutiny Because He Was on Left's ‘Team' ‐ ‘Has a Very Epstein[ Hunter] Feel'
[Breitbart] On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher reacted to former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried’s donations to Democrats by stating that the FTX situation is a case where people thought, “as long as you’re on our team, we don’t care,” and the situation “has a very Epstein feel” where the thinking was “He’s one of us, he’s on our side, he donates to our causes, we don’t need to look too hard into the fact that he’s a con man.”

After quoting from new FTX CEO John Ray III, who was also Enron CEO after its collapse, that he had never seen “such a complete failure of corporate control[s]” Maher continued, “He said, this situation is unprecedented. … It was so disorganized, they were unable to prepare a complete list of who worked there. At least Elon knows who he’s firing. … And the plot thickens because this guy, SBF, this Sam Bankman-Fried, this millennial Madoff, was the second biggest donor to the Democratic Party after George Soros. They loved his ass. He was always with Clinton and those types. He was at Davos…it’s like everything now is as long as you’re on our team, we don’t care, we don’t look, it has a very Epstein feel — Jeffrey Epstein. This kind of smells of that. He’s one of us, he’s on our side, he donates to our causes, we don’t need to look too hard into the fact that he’s a con man.”

Bernie Turned Progressive Movement Into ‘Rotting Corpse’

This is what the left let happen to them. This was the only part of national politics that represented them, and what happened? Bernie and the Squad sold out. Shockingly cheaply. They joined the Sith DC establishment. The man should be asking "who paid you, Bernie?"

"There is always money for war. You never hear political leaders say they can't go to war because the country can't afford it. They claim not to have money for the poor, homeless and hungry, but war? It's never a problem."

-- David Icke

Space Lizardoid conspiracy theorist David Icke is a good match for Israel-hating Red Diaper Baby Norman Finkelstein, PhD, whose rant against Stalinist Bernie Sanders is much approved by Progressive comedian Jimmy Dore in this attack from the historically corrupt far left on the equally corrupt but slightly different far left. Enjoy — remembering along the way that Stalin partnered with Hitler to divide Poland before Stalin pivoted to partner with the Allies to divide Germany.

#1  Who's censoring my comments?

I repeat:

"There is always money for war. You never hear political leaders say they can't go to war because the country can't afford it. They claim not to have money for the poor, homeless and hungry, but war? It's never a problem."

This is a true statement. It is not a communication from the lizard people.

#2  Two problems - progressivism has been a rotting course since Woodrow Wilson’s presidency. Bernie may have damaged the movement but is too young to have made it into the zombie that it continues to be. Secondly, AOC is totally prefabricated. Saying that she sold out is like berating the Monkees for betraying their musical roots or complaining about the commercialization of Scooby Doo.
Posted by: Super Hose || 11/20/2022 11:53 Comments || Top||

#3  Progressivism is just another form of totalitarianism, all dolled up. It never ends well. It did not work in the Thousand Year Reich, or the USSR. Of course, it is still around in places like Cuba, Venezuela and NKor, but none of them are exactly drawing crowds.

OF course, it is trying to emerge here, but that's neither a fait accompli nor any more likely to succeed long-term if it does emerge here.

I'm still betting against it, long-term.

-Land of the Free
The CIA Has a Podcast, Revealing Personnel to Be Even More Self-Important, Mediocre Than We Knew
A taste. Much more pointing and laughing at the link. I keep hoping that all this is just a really, really clever cover for incredible depths of competence and effectiveness against America’s enemies.
[Breitbart] The CIA has launched a podcast called The Langley Files, and it’s even more boring and cringe than we could have imagined — but it also inadvertently reveals a level of mediocrity in the agency commonly suspected but rarely seen.

To spare the American public, Breitbart News has accepted the undertaking of listening to the four episodes released so far and can report that they broadcast an agency in embarrassing decline.

The show is hosted by “Dee” and “Walter” — last names presumably omitted for maximum super secret, super cool spy effect — who don’t disclose their role at the agency, but are probably millennial comms staff.

“At CIA, there are truths we can share and stories we can tell — stories of duty and dedication, stories of ingenuity and mission, stories beyond those of Hollywood scripts and shadowed whispers,” Dee says, as the first, “unclassified” episode opens. “Today, we’re taking a step out from behind those shadows, sharing what we can, and offering a glimpse into the world of the Central Intelligence Agency.”

Walter then introduces his first guest, CIA Director Bill Burns, who opens by acknowledging that “trust in institutions is in short supply,” and then proceeds for the following 15 minutes to patronize listeners with thinly-disguised propaganda and cloying personal anecdotes.

Burns — who by all appearances looks like the quintessential D.C. bureaucrat — helpfully informs us that he doesn’t “exactly fit the image” of James Bond and Jason Bourne, saying that he actually drives a “2013 Subaru Outback” and struggles to work his Roku.

Burns then goes on to tout the agency’s work helping Ukraine and the strike against Ayman al Zawahiri last summer — but stops just short of mentioning some of his agency’s other greatest hits, like the intelligence snafu leading to the droning of an innocent man and his children in Kabul just following the spectacular intelligence failure that was the Afghanistan withdrawal in the summer of 2021. The withdrawal debacle does come up later in the episode, but Burns awkwardly glazes over any responsibility his agency might have had, grouping himself with those who sacrificed their lives in the conflict, saying, “we” did “our duty” and “honored our profound obligation.”

Economy
Post-Election Joe Biden Warns of Upcoming ‘Setbacks' in the Economy
[Breitbart] President Joe Biden warned Americans on Friday to expect setbacks in his ongoing attempts to fix the economy.

“It’s going to take time to get inflation back to normal levels as we keep our job market strong, so we could see setbacks along the way,” he said at the White House, promising to stay “laser-focused” on the economy.

He also claimed that inflation at the grocery store was “down slightly,” even though the cost of food at home is up 12.4 percent from the previous year.

The president met with a group of business and labor leaders on his imitation White House video set to talk about the economy and delivered about seven minutes of remarks before sending the press out of the room.

He argued that the economic growth was up 2.6 percent and that unemployment numbers were still low, proving that his policies were successful in turning around the economy.

Biden encouraged Americans to be patient until his policies could go into effect, providing seniors with cheaper diabetes medicine. He also promoted tax credits for replacing windows and doors in their homes, replacing heating systems, and mounting solar panels on their roofs.

“That’s good for your wallet but also good for the environment, because you’re using less energy,” he said, noting that the tax credits were “just going to start kicking in.”

Government Corruption
Media's Latest Defense: Joe Biden's Judgement Unaffected by Hunter's Business Deals
[Breitbart] The establishment media has shifted its position at least four times on the significance of Hunter Biden’s laptop story after more than two years since Breitbart News’s Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris broke the story at the New York Post.

On Thursday, Politico’s Heidi Przybyla and Jordan Carney claimed: “no evidence has publicly emerged that his [Joe Biden] decisions were affected by his son’s business.”

That President Joe Biden’s judgment has been uninfected by his family business with foreign actors is a different position than the media took just months and years prior.

Kevin McCarthy says he will remove Rep. Ilhan Omar from committee over ‘anti-Semitic' remarks
[NY Post] Removing Al-Shaboob's Finest. Nancy set the precedent.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said when he becomes Speaker of the House again he’ll boot "Squad" member Rep. Ilhan Omar from her position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee over "anti-Semitic" remarks.
Ululululululululululululu!
"We watch anti-Semitism grow, not just on our campuses, but we watched it grow In the halls of Congress," McCarthy said at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s 2022 leadership meeting in Las Vegas on Saturday, Fox News reported.

"I promised you last year that as speaker she will no longer be on Foreign Affairs, and I’m keeping that promise," he added, to cheers from the crowd, video posted to his Twitter shows.

After Republicans barely secured a majority in the House, the California lawmaker was given the nod by the party to be the next Speaker of the House in January following a congressional vote.

Omar (D-Minn.) has been outspoken in her criticism of Israel, comparing both the Jewish state and the US to terrorist organizations like Hamas and the Taliban. In 2019, she proposed a resolution supporting the right to boycott Israel, likening the previous boycotts of of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.

In his speech, McCarthy also condemned comments made by GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R—Ga.) last year when she said, "Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazis forced Jewish people to wear a gold star."

Greene was removed from her committee assignments after the comments and for espousing Qanon conspiracy theories.
That's MSM bullshit. QANON doesn't exist except as their bogeyman
McCarthy has promised Greene that he would reinstate her once he becomes speaker, according to Fox. Greene said she plans to vote for him.

Midterm results: Adam Frisch concedes to GOP firebrand Lauren Boebert in Colorado's 3rd District
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Democrat Adam Frisch has conceded to Rep. Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District in what shaped up to be a surprisingly competitive race in an otherwise blue district that was likely to head to a recount.

"I just got off the phone with Rep. Boebert. I called her to formally concede this election," Frisch said in a video announcement. "Please know that in the coming weeks, I will pause and reflect on this race."

Boebert was narrowly leading Frisch by just 0.16 percentage points as of late Thursday, putting the race well within the margin of a mandatory recount required under state law.

The race had been deemed too close to call by election forecasters, with the News Agency that Dare Not be Named noting it would await the results of the recount before making a determination. However,
women are made to be loved, not understood...
Boebert has already claimed victory in the race, arguing her slim lead won’t be diminished by a recount.

"The voters have spoken, and while we show great progress, I remain down by a few hundred votes. This small margin triggers an automatic recount in Colorado’s election system," Frisch said. "We are not asking for this recount. ... The likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small, very, very small. It would be disingenuous and unethical for us or any other group to continue to raise false hope and encourage fundraising for a recount."

Frisch's comments come after Boebert announced on Friday she had already launched a fundraising account to pay for legal fees to oversee the recount process, telling the Washington Examiner it "won't be cheap."

As of Friday morning, Boebert led Frisch by more than 500 votes, and roughly 200 votes are left to be counted, according to her campaign.

#1  This guy must have really really cheated outrageously to concede without a rigged recount in a state with a totally corrupt political machine. This election cycle race rewarded Fetterman and an actual corpse. We are staring at a Warnock re-election. I think we can rule out this guy doing the right thing based on his 20 year track record.

Biden agrees to pay climate REPARATIONS: US will pay up to $1BN to compensate developing countries for global warming - but gas-guzzling China WON'T have to pay into global fund
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Or not, if Congress does not approve it. President Obama used to make grandiose promises when at international conferences, too, that eventually came to nothing. I seem to recall President Clinton doing the same, back when he was large and in charge. Is this a Democratic Party thing?
  • The fund, negotiated at the UN's COP27 Summit, was originally known as a 'loss and damage' fund and had been blocked by previous administrations

  • The deal is already more than a day late, as nearly 200 nations were anxious for an accord they could bill as a step forward in the fight against climate change

  • The nations involved are largely from Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and the south pacific

  • Biden was granted $1 billion to help developing countries tackle climate change, although it's unclear if that cash will go into this fund

  • The president also faces having his plans stymied by the GOP-majority house, which would have to approve any funding
