President Donald Trump’s legal team became significantly more cohesive on Wednesday with the addition of Emmet Flood, a veteran white collar defense attorney. It also became more aggressive, which could prove tricky for special counsel Bob Mueller.
A longtime Washington lawyer who’s known Flood for quite some time and who spoke anonymously because of client sensitivities said there’s no chance Flood will let the president sit for an interview with Mueller.
"Mueller finally has somebody who’s his match," that person said. "You’ve got a fair fight now."
[ABCNews] Outgoing White House lawyer Ty Cobb told ABC News during an exclusive interview that a presidential interview with special counsel Robert Mueller has not been ruled out. Interesting MSM tidbit:
It was during a press conference in the Rose Garden last year that President Donald Trump said he would "100%" be willing to speak with Mueller under oath. Later, the president reiterated his willingness to speak, telling ABC News’ Jonathan Karl in January “I would love to do that...I 'd like to do it as soon as possible.” Then, as I recall, Mr. Trump qualified his statement with something about his attorneys giving the OK, but that's not germane, I suppose.

It's the Prez who should interview Mueller. He was appointed to investigate connection between the Trump campaign and Russia. Congress, not Mueller, has already demonstrated it was manipulation by the Clinton campaign. Time to put your cards on the table or leave.
