-Short Attention Span Theater-
Champ regrets not spending more time with his mum.
Sort of begs the obvious question now doesn't it ?
His mother sent him off to live with her parents in Hawaii, while she kept his half-siblings. It is said she did this because he loved and was influenced by his Indonesian stepfather. Possibly he regrets it now, in a vague, sentimental kind of way, but I imagine that for many years he was content treating her as she'd done him.

#1  Old Frank did the best he could, but the kid was more interested in dagga than politics. His socialist enlightenment was to blossom a bit later.

#2  Does he regret not showing up at Aunt Zetuni's funeral? I have my doubts.

#3  I would love to hear a plain-spoken Krauthammerian analysis of this revelation.

#4  No doubt, poll tested and rehearsed for just such an occasion.

#5  Perhaps the toughest question for the president was what he hopes his legacy will be. In a rambling 9-minute answer, Obama cited a range of factors.

Nine minutes is not an answer, it's a speech.

He said his "most important" legacy is fathering daughters Malia and Sasha, whom he said are "turning out to be wonderful young people."

Oh, that's nice.

As for his presidential legacy, Obama spoke more broadly, noting his response to the financial crisis of 2009; promotion of greater economic opportunity for all people; curbing Syria's chemical weapons; confronting Iran; encouraging peace between Israelis and Palestinians; and, being the first American president to visit Burma. He didn't mention the Affordable Care Act.

Perhaps he was the first AMPrez to visit Burma. Other than that, it's just a speech.

#6  Can't understand why anybody still watches ABC News.

#7  I think Obama is confusing his Mum with his Golf Coach.

Champ: On Human Rights, 'Malaysia got some work to do, just like US.'

#1  Yeah, they need to get the racists out of their equivalent of the whitehouse and AG, just like we do.

#2  He seldom misses an opportunity to denigrate and belittle the United States while on foreign travel.

Home Front: Culture Wars
Champ boldly steps into Clippers - Don Sterling row.
No mention of the inconvenient fact that billionaire Don Sterling is a Democratic and major financial contributor to liberal causes.
No doubt he thought he had purchased sufficient indulgences to cover himself. Oops...

#1  Like Bundy, he got caught having an offensive personal opinion.

Shadenfreude, anyone?
Posted by: Bobby || 04/28/2014 7:58 Comments || Top||

#2  Why thank you - I'll have two scoops of schadenfreude (chocolate if you have any) with whipped cream and maybe a sprinkle of those delightful little toasted almonds on top.

#3  This is something they can talk about instead of all the people they're selling out to Putin or Iran.

#4  Note to PrezBo: Quit trying to appear Presidential. You don't have the chops.

#5  Just listened to the entire released recording. Although he has a diversified "Old School" mindset of which bigotry is but a part, she was obviously leading him on.

He's an idiot. She's an extortionist or complicit therein.

#6  I've heard worse recording quality on network shows. Was he speaking directly into a mike? Idiot

#7  Sterling sells Clippers to an anxious NBA consortium for twice their actual worth. Sterling walks away with a huge smile. It was all theater.
