Warning, if you've got a cup of coffee, put it down now.
According to Joy Behar of 'The View,' someone is "out to get" Anthony Weiner because "they don't like his politics." Behar and her co-host Whoopi Goldberg advanced a conspiracy theory on Thursday and included the possibility that the Congressman could have been at a beach and had an innocent photo digitally manipulated. Meanwhile, Barbara Walters pronounced dead the political goal of the politician to one day be New York's mayor.
Offering cover for Weiner, Goldberg theorized, "Well, you know, if you have been on a beach in a bathing suit with friends- and I've had this happen, so I know that this can get done- where they take, you know, a little piece of you and they put you in a diaper or whatever."

Joy Behar - proof you don't have to be intelligent, attractive, or pleasant to get a shot at network TV. In fact, given Whoopie, it's probably proof of the opposite

Whoopi had a Weinergate happen to her. I kind of doubt that--but maybe.
This has got to be the most convoluted explanation for Weiner behavior I could ever imagine.
Kaytal conceded that the Supreme Court had never been confronted directly with the question, but cited the Heart of Atlanta Motel case as a relevant example. In that landmark 1964 civil rights case, the Court ruled that Congress could use its Commerce Clause power to bar discrimination by private businesses such as hotels and restaurants.
Theyre in the business, Sutton pushed back. Theyre told if youre going to be in the business, this is what you have to do. In response to that law, they could have said, We now exit the business. Individuals dont have that option.
Kaytal responded by noting that the there's a provision in the health care law that allows people to avoid the mandate.
If were going to play that game, I think that game can be played here as well, because after all, the minimum coverage provision only kicks in after people have earned a minimum amount of income, Kaytal said. So its a penalty on earning a certain amount of income and self insuring. Its not just on self insuring on its own. So I guess one could say, just as the restaurant owner could depart the market in Heart of Atlanta Hotel, someone doesnt need to earn that much income. I think both are kind of fanciful and I think get at
Sutton interjected, That wasnt in a single speech given in Congress about this...the idea that the solution if you dont like it is make a little less money.
If I did what he did I would be making little ones out of big ones, and no rational person would care about my stupid opinion.

So, pay more taxes, Charlie. Lead the way. Show us how it's done, how much fun it is.
Notice I'm not holding my breath - he won't pay taxes even if taxes are raised.

he doesn't even pay taxes he owes on US property, much less foreign. He also uses rent-controls to keep his condo costs and campaign office costs down.
I feel safe in saying Charlie Rangel is a lying sack of shit and a tax and rent control cheat (IMHO, not Fred's). If I'm wrong, let Chollie sue me. He won't because I'm right.

Why sure he would say that we need more taxes--easy to say for a guy who doesn't pay his taxes. It is the Donk way. Do as I say not as I do.
Gratuitous post, simply to draw attention to the lovely Brigitte.
During the making of the action film Red Sonja in 1985, its two lead stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Brigitte Nielsen enjoyed a passionate affair.
The attraction had been instant and since we both knew that wouldnt last beyond the movie, we didnt hold back, admits Nielsen now. We wanted to try everything and so we did. There were no restrictions, no promises, nothing, and it was a great time in my life.
Schwarzenegger may be getting it in the neck from all quarters at the moment, but Nielsen still has a few kind words to say about him. His 25-year marriage to Kennedy family member Maria Shriver has ended amid allegations he had fathered at least one love child, and he is alleged to have had as prodigious an appetite for women during that time as he did when he was single.
