Thanks to all who sent me suggestions for conservative potential congressional critters to donate to.
The O/T came through and I was able to send everybody $50.00.
Fingers crossed....

Donations may really matter this time, because the DNC is abandoning "lost causes", and trying to concentrate its money on protecting what had been safe seats.
That is a serious sign of desperation. It is also a crummy defense strategy.

Yes, we've been hearing the Donks whine about 'outside' money in this election, after taking in untraceable sums from Europe in 2008, but they never seem to acknowledge all the mandatory payroll union dues that they somehow get into their political coffers.
Family of Medal of Honor recipient Vernon Baker was denied access to the White House's West Wing on Saturday, a day after the World War II hero was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Baker's widow, Heidy, and grandson, Vernon Pawlik, 10, were denied entry because the boy was wearing shorts and a T-shirt. His shirt had a picture of his grandfather on it. What the Hell is wrong with this Administration? Other than being total jerks and cluless morons. At the better clubs they keep a selection of jackets and ties in a closet for just such occasions ...

The White House didn't return a phone call seeking comment.

Now you are going on and insulting Spineless Jackasses.
A White House Web site doesn't list a dress code, but the family had been invited to tour the West Wing, which houses the president's office and where casual dress is prohibited.
Hey dipshit - to most 10 year old boys, shorts and a t-shirt are as close to 'non-casual' as your going to get.
Please see the video at the site - there is a good side to this story as well.
Note that the Widow was unable to go to the funeral until the community in Idaho got together and purchased her a ticket - and not only that but they re-roofed her leaky roof as well.

I bet that someone in the Park Service is going to get reassigned after this. I think the dress code for the West Wing was instituted by Bush (43). But please a 10 year old boy? FYI the Park Police and Secret Service DO NOT work for Obama. They are the ONES that will have to answer for this.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
