-Lurid Crime Tales-
Who's Huma? The Mystery of Our Times
[PJ] In the midst of the welter of charges and counter charges that may or may not sink the national nervous breakdown that is the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, it's worth examining who exactly is Huma Abedin and how bizarre it is that such a person ever could be the closest confidante of the woman who would be our first female president.

It's a tale in its own way resonant of the 1930s and '40s, when communists sworn to the violent overthrow of the United States government rose to the highest echelons of our State Department and other agencies.

This is not to say that Huma Abedin is any Alger Hiss, but she is, if anything, far more intimately involved with the Muslim Brotherhood than Hiss ever was with the Communist Party. And she was--at least until now--potentially more powerful than Hiss.

Carlos Danger may have opened Pandora's Box for Huma and Hillary
[American Thinker] The criminal investigation underway over Anthony Weiner’s alleged child sex infraction has a couple of characteristics that make it especially awkward for Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin, the estranged wife of Weiner and close companion of Hillary.

Ed Timperlake points out to me that in an underage sex investigation, all electronic communications of the investigative target are pursued. This probably led to the grand jury that was announced 11 days ago issuing a subpoena for all of the devices in the possession of Weiner and his family, including Huma. As Lucianne Goldberg quipped, they even seize the Speak & Spell toys in these cases. This grand jury is in New York, possibly less poltiically supervised than the first Hillary email investigation.

Evidently, some of these devices were not turned over in the first investigation and contained "pertinent" emails. We do not know with certainty, but some reports indicate the pertinent emails may have been found on Weiner’s laptop. Recall that the initial investigation did not convene a grand jury and did not therefore have subpoena power. It is possible that Huma Abedin misled the FBI over the existence of pertinent emails on her then-husband’s computing devices.

So what could have been on the laptop Carlos Danger used for sexting?
Con't.

You gumshoes think my sexting and wanking is bad? Here, hold these lollipops while I go into Yahoo. You want BAD, I'll show you BAD.

#1  One aspect that hasn't been properly reported is that the Clinton outfit apparently stored a treasure trove of classified information unencrypted on systems like Yahoo's and Google's email services.

Here are just some pertinent questions:

Within Google and Yahoo who has logical or physical access to these databases?

Do these people have anything like security clearances?

Are they subjected to a security background check?

Is Google's and Yahoo's IT setup (software & hardware) secure? Do they use hardware that might have been tampered with? Are they protected against passive electromagnetic eavesdropping?

etc etc

If Abedin really transferred classified information to Yahoo for "printing" this is, again, an example of the Western political classes' flatworm like stupidity.

With these people at the helm something like SCIF is nothing but a Cargo Cult ritual.

#3  perhaps Huma was using Weiner's laptop (ha ha) as a passive backup without Weiner knowing about it

or perhaps, Weiner had cut and pasted all files to his laptop one day when he had Huma's laptop at home

doesn't make a lot of sense but then these are the 'elite'

#5  Not to be Cpt Obvious, but Yahoo revealed this Sept that at least 500 million of their email accounts were hacked. If Huma was using her Yahoo account to archive State Dept emails, it is a good possibility that state secrets were compromised.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
For GOP, defeat is not enough
Just a note: The individual who posted this did NOT write this. The writer is Leonard Pitts from the Miami Herald.
[OregonLive] So yeah, I don't want the GOP defeated.

I want it immolated.
Your BLM buddies have been doing a magnificent job of immolating their own neighbohoods. You'd almost expect Republicans to do the same with their own, except decent people won't destroy themselves or their property to make a point.
I want it razed to the foundation, reduced to a moonscape, left unlivable even for cockroaches, much less newts. I want it treated like boot heels treat ants and furnaces treat ice cubes, treated like a middle-school basketball team playing the '71-'72 Lakers.

Defeat is not enough. Let there be humiliation. Let there be pain.
There may well be the last two in large quantities come November 9th, for both sides. You never know.
This lavish disgust has nothing, absolutely zilch, to do with conservative ideology. It is not in opposition to Republican positions on taxes, regulation, LGBTQ rights, immigration or foreign policy. But it has everything to do with the party's willing and expedient embrace of crazy.
Both sides are guilty of embracing crazy. The right has no monopoly.
Granted, Republicans did not invent paranoia, persecution complexes or reality estrangement. I remember as a child hearing the barbershop regulars spin elaborate theories of how the moon landing was a hoax and Neil Armstrong's "one small step for a man" actually took place in a New Mexico desert.

It seemed pretty harmless at the time.

The GOP's innovation was to harness and nurture that craziness for votes. It flattered and wooed the guy in the barbershop - and the woman in the beauty parlor - by taking them seriously. Through its media partners - Fox "News" and talk radio kingpins from Limbaugh on down - and with the timely arrival of the internet and social media, it gave them support and a megaphone.
So you're blaming your own industry for harnessing craziness, but you want to destroy a political party.
In return, it reaped the nigh-nuclear energy of kooks, cranks, outcasts and iconoclasts whose take-no-prisoners anger invigorated a Grand Old Party. But they also pushed that party further and further to the right - past Nixon, past Reagan and the Bushes, past political and intellectual coherence. Past decorum.
Nixon was no conservative. Neither was Bush the Elder, nor is Donald Trump. Reagan was, to the extent that he managed to temporarily change the conversation about the relationship of the average citizen to their government.
Until finally, the party sold its soul to the Donald.
You aren't paying much attention to what is going on on the ground. A large number of Republicans, conservatives and liberals alike have decided either to vote for a third party or not vote at all for president. And in case you missed it, a large part of the Republican leadership failed to "circle the wagons" to defend Trump against any of the latest spurious allegations. That has angered rank and file Republicans who believe that the party must unify around a candidate, not an agenda. We don't know how much this will affect the down ballot, but it's not hard to think that it will. That is a picture of a political party shattered by Donald Trump voters, Never Trumpers and others. That is not selling your soul to Donald Trump.
The damage to GOP credibility is profound. The damage to America is worse. We find ourselves a nation that cannot have meaningful discussion of its issues because some of us have pulled away from the center, from common cause and shared mission, choosing instead to dwell in a pestilential swamp where newspaper hacks collude with presidents and Billy Bush is Jason Bourne.
Newspaper hacks are for the most part backing Hillary. And as for hacks colluding with presidents, you should witness the news/opinion writers from the NY Times and others who have done everything they can to advance Hillary's cause as well as Obammer's.
So the crazy must be rebuked emphatically, refuted in a way that leaves no doubt: We are better than this. That's what's best for the nation. It's also what's best for principled conservatives powerless against a virulent cancer that has metastasized through their party. Maybe they'll be able to save that party - or build a new one. Either way, the mission statement here for thoughtful Americans could not be more clear. Do not defeat the GOP.

Nuke it.

-Land of the Free
PayPal, Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel gives blistering speech on Trump to National Press Club: a realistic outsider who will make America a normal country again
AMAZING SPEECH

Full speech here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob-LJqPQEJ4

Full transcript here

Highlights:

"In real dollars the median household makes less money today than it made 17 years ago.
Nearly half of Americans wouldn’t be able to come up with $400 if they needed it for an emergency.
Yet while households struggle to keep up with the challenges of everyday life, the government is wasting trillions of dollars of taxpayer money on faraway wars.
Right now we’re fighting five of them in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen and Somalia."
...

"The sheer size of the US trade deficit shows that something has gone badly wrong.
The most developed country in the world should be exporting capital to less developed countries. Instead the US is importing more than $500 billion every year. That money flows into financial assets, it distorts our economy in favour of more banking and more financialisation and it gives the well-connected people who benefit a reason to defend the status quo.
But not everyone benefits, and the Trump voters know it. I think Trump voters are also tired of war. We’ve been at war for 15 years and we’ve spent more than $4.6 trillion. More than 2 million people have lost their lives and more than 5000 US soldiers have been killed.
But we haven’t won.
The Bush administration promised that $50 billion could bring democracy to Iraq. Instead, we’ve squandered 40 times as much to bring about chaos.
Yet even after these bipartisan failures, the Democratic party is more hawkish today than at any time since it began the war in Vietnam.
Harking back to the no-fly zone that Bill Clinton enforced over Iraq before Bush’s failed war, now Hillary Clinton has called for a no-fly zone over Syria.
Incredibly, that would be a mistake even more reckless than invading Iraq since most planes flying over Syria today are Russian planes.
Clinton’s proposed course of action would do worse than involve us in a messy civil war, it would risk a direct nuclear conflict. What explains this eagerness to escalate the dangerous situation? How can Hillary Clinton be so wildly over-optimistic about the outcome of war?
I would suggest that it comes from a lot of practice. For a long time our elites have been in the habit of denying difficult realities."

...

"Just as much as it’s about making America great, Trump’s agenda is about making America a normal country.
A normal country doesn’t have a half-trillion dollar trade deficit. A normal country doesn’t fight five simultaneous undeclared wars.
In a normal country the government actually does its job. And today it’s important to recognise that the government has a job to do."

VDH: The Clintons as Farce
[City Journal On-Line ] Hillary Clinton was resting, running out the clock, sitting on a supposed large lead, and hoping that the election was sooner than later. Now after the latest Weiner disclosures, she is crisscrossing the country, terrified of collapsing polls, and wishing that she had three more weeks rather than just one. With the Clintons, farce is the desert to scandal: the profiteering Clinton Foundation as a humanitarian treasure; Hillary the former corporate attorney as child and little-guy crusader; Bill Clinton, both sexual predator and feminist hero.

Hillary didn’t just delete e-mails under congressional subpoena; she insisted that some 33,000 e-mails were mostly about yoga and Chelsea’s wedding--sort of like saying that one can beat 31 trillion-to-one odds of turning $1,000 into a $100,000 cattle-futures profit in no time by merely reading the Wall Street Journal. Until Friday, FBI director James Comey, in Hillary’s eyes, was a sober and judicious public servant who had rightly seen insufficient cause for her indictment. Now she believes that he is a rank Republican politico seeking to rob her of her presidency.

Clinton thought that she had survived Wikileaks, the Project Veritas ambush tapes, the hacked Colin Powell e-mails, the DNC disclosures, and so on--mostly because of Donald Trump’s self-inflicted wounds, some vicious-if-clever Democratic Party operatives, and a series of Democratic-planted IEDs about Trump’s foul mouth that exploded at preplanned and opportune moments.

Yet no one thought discredited deviant Anthony Weiner could much harm Hillary--except of course "conspiratorial" Donald Trump. He warned months ago that Clinton aide Huma Abedin might have been passing on classified materials to her dissolute husband. Because Weiner couldn’t repress his electronic libido with young girls, he ended up on the FBI’s radar--and by extension his smartphones, tablets, computers, and by further extension supposedly his estranged wife’s confidential communications. It was thought that Weiner might have stopped his sexting addiction when he lost his House seat, when he lost his mayor’s race, when he lost his wife, when he lost his jobs--or, at the very least, before he might lose Hillary (who supposedly fixed Abedin up with Weiner) her election.

[GP] Democrat pollster Doug Schoen, who advised President Bill’s Clinton’s 1996 reelection campaign and worked on Hillary Clinton’s failed 2008 presidential bid, has withdrawn his endorsement of Hillary Clinton for the presidency following the renewal of the FBI investigation into Clinton and her her top aide Huma Abedin. How Hillary and Bill became Bonnie and Clyde
The latest news about the Clintons, that Hillary’s case is being re-opened and that Bill got himself tremendously rich while Hillary was in office, gets to me to thinking about Bonnie and Clyde, the 1967 movie starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway about a real couple that worked brazenly outside the law during the 1930s Depression.

...No wonder the FBI is re-examining the files. James Comey, finally channeling J. Edgar Hoover, dropped this bombshell on Friday. In a few days, after Comey goes public and spills the beans, The New York Times will call for Hillary to step aside. You heard it here first.

In Hoover’s day Hillary and Bill would have their pictures hanging in the Post Office among the 10 Most Wanted.

Bonnie and Clyde did it for the money. Hillary and Bill do it for the money. Same people.

Except that Bonnie and Clyde, the real ones, were small-time. They’re credited with no more than about a dozen hold-ups, mainly banks and grocery stores.

Small potatoes compared to the Clinton Foundation that one way and another fattened the pockets of Hillary and Bill with dirty millions.

That, plus the emails that keep proving disrespect for most Americans and hostility against the State of Israel from members of the Hillary and Bill Syndicate ‐ a crime family that features associates like Cheryl Mills, Huma Abedin and her sex-crazed (supposedly estranged) husband Anthony Weiner, who apparently kicked off the FBI dragnet from his sexting madness that fell into the wrong hands.

Imagine this confederacy of scoundrels with the keys to our country, starring Hillary and Bill.

Hildebeest's eyes went out of sync again yesterday at her Daytona Beach rally
BLUF: [American Thinker] Dr. Brian Joondeph, a retina surgeon, explains what probably is going on:

Eye movement is controlled by six muscles attached to each eye, allowing eyes to move up, down, diagonally, and rotationally. These muscles are in turn controlled by a combination of three cranial nerves originating in brain stem, an area between the brain and spinal cord, then travelling upward to the eyes.

Mrs. Clinton’s original trauma and blood clot likely damaged at least one of her cranial nerves. During Congressional testimony over Benghazi, she was wearing eyeglasses with Fresnel prisms, used to correct double vision due to eye misalignment. But that was four years ago. Why are her eye movements still misaligned?

Synkinesis is a condition where nerves rewire incorrectly after trauma. This may cause one eye to look left or not move at all when the brain tells it to move right. Smiling or chewing may cause the eyes to move, which would explain Mrs. Clinton’s abnormal eye movements while giving a recent speech.

Funny eye movements alone are no big deal. Many people have a crossed eye, called strabismus, due to a childhood lazy eye, previous eye injury or surgery, or a small stroke of one of the cranial nerves. But in Mrs. Clinton’s case, there are other worrying signs, including possible seizure activity, her recent collapse, coughing fits, all on top of her history of head trauma, blood clot, and ongoing anticoagulation therapy.

Should Hillary Clinton be elected president, she will become an object of ridicule worldwide for her deranged-looking eye movements. Foreign media are not subject to the crushing norms that have turned our mainstream media into propaganda organs. And bashing an American president as crazy is a sport as popular overseas as soccer.
Con't.

Democrats should ask Clinton to step aside
[Chicago Tribune] If ruling Democrats hold themselves to the high moral standards they impose on the people they govern, they would follow a simple process:

They would demand that Mrs. Clinton step down, immediately, and let her vice presidential nominee, Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, stand in her place.

Democrats should say, honestly, that with a new criminal investigation going on into events around her home-brew email server from the time she was secretary of state, having Clinton anywhere near the White House is just not a good idea.

Since Oct. 7, WikiLeaks has released 35,000 emails hacked from Clinton campaign boss John Podesta. Now WikiLeaks, no longer a neutral player but an active anti-Clinton agency, plans to release another 15,000 emails.

What if she is elected? Think of a nation suffering a bad economy and continuing chaos in the Middle East, and now also facing a criminal investigation of a president. Add to that congressional investigations and a public vision of Clinton as a Nixonian figure wandering the halls, wringing her hands.

The best thing would be for Democrats to ask her to step down now. It would be the most responsible thing to do, if the nation were more important to them than power. And the American news media -- fairly or not firmly identified in the public mind as Mrs. Clinton's political action committee -- should begin demanding it.

#1  C'mon. NEVER happen.

The PURPOSE of a thing is ALWAYS itself. Hillary IS the Democratic Party. The good of the Country of America is a distant second, and actual moral issues simply don't exist. There simply is no God in the Democratic party. Never has been for a long time. Plus Democrats see nothing wrong in Abortion and killing babies. Never crosses their minds that its deeply and totally immoral.
And they will ban you or ruin you or kill you if you disagree with them. Its what they ARE.

Hillary is a rotting hulk and they will still hold onto her until the end. Buried tongue deep in the rancid meat.

Its been that way since Bill's days in the White House. The morally sound side was to vote in favor of Clinton's impeachment and removal from office--the Chief Enforcement Officer of our nation's laws can't be someone who has committed perjury and sexually harassed one or more government employees. The Dems chose to do NOTHING then, and they'll do NOTHING now. The Democratic party has no moral beliefs, and believe only in the Democratic party.

The Clinton impeachment debacle was the first thing that began my turn from Democrat into a card-carrying Republican. 9/11 was the other.

Concur with Lord Garth - most ISIS inspired (not directed) attacks here radicalized on their own, and actioned on their own timeline. #5  ISIS is more of a free-floating brand than a real orgainzation.

#6  Scott's blog is a fantastic read: insightful, and, increasingly courageous. He had to suspend comments because of prog trolling. He's been shadowbanned on Twitter too.

#7  #2,4 IMO, all "Muslim extremists" understand who's better for Jihad.

#8  Scott is literally trolling the Hillarybillies, making them foam at the mouth and reveal themselves for who they are. quite a plan.

#9  The headline is incomplete. Mr. Adam's tweet says "...no sponsored terror attacks..." Lone wolves inspired to knife innocent bystanders by what they read on the internet are not included in this prediction, which it seems to me is talking about the Paris attacks or Afghan-American Omar Mateen's massacre at that Orlando gay bar, during which he called 9-1-1 to pledge his fealty to ISIS.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Checkmating Obama
by Caroline Glick

[Jpost] In one of the immortal lines of Godfather 2, mafia boss Michael Corleone discusses the fate of his brother, who betrayed him, with his enforcer.

“I don’t want anything to happen to him while my mother is alive,” Corleone said.

#1  This nasty, ignorant, piece of sh!t "President" is such a brain drain. If it makes sense, he does the opposite. You are an evil worm, obama.
I regret the day you were born, son. But when you die, I will never see you again.

#2  (a) Obama's campaign would be, at its worst, only a preview of Hillary presidency.
(b) IMO, Israel should've started to lessen it's dependency on USA years ago.
(b1) If Hillary is elected, USA becomes as much an enemy of Israel as EU - only a lot more powerful.
(b2) Even if Hillary is not elected, the fact that she was almost elected shows that American People are crazy. Does Israel really wants to depend on crazy People for its survival?
(c) Lets look at the alternatives. We have to have something what we can offer to both Russians and Chinese - would be stupid to go with just one. The only other alternative that I can see, we could just pray to the Lord for Trump's victory - in the past, He wasn't particularly receptive.

#3  Even if Hillary is not elected, the fact that she was almost elected shows that American People are crazy.

That would depend on the margin of defeat, wouldn't it?

#4  That would depend on the margin of defeat, wouldn't it?

Nope. Remember she was you foreign minister.

#5  Um, no one votes for Secretary of State, mate; that one's on Obama.

Weren't you lecturing us Rantburger Yanks last month on US history and / or how our system works? Funny, that...

#6  Your SecState (sorry) is appointed by your elected president and confirmed by your elected representatives - true or false? Not convincing? OK, exhibit #1: transgendered restrooms. Exhibit #2: safe spaces. Exhibit #3: BLM.

#7  Your SecState (sorry) is appointed by your elected president and confirmed by your elected representatives - true or false?

True.

That path indicates the U.S. Secretary of State is not directly elected by its citizens (you know, the basic point I was making?). True or False?

#8  Yea, People who don't take responsibility for what their leaders do.

#9  So, I'm responsible for what someone else does? You're a real piece of work...

#10  I rest my case.
Posted by: g(r)omgoru || 10/31/2016 14:23 Comments || Top||

#11  A non-existent case. In your 'mind', if I vote for Trump and Hillary gets elected, I'm responsible for that. True or False?
