Uncle Sugar hands Somalia lotsa money - $2m logistical, medivac support for Somali forces
[GoobjoogNews] The U.S. government has announced $ 2 million in support to bolster the ongoing war against al-Shabaab
...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
in Somalia.

According to a statement from the US embassy in Mogadishu, the funds which will be channelled through the UN Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) will ’finance transport and in-theater medical evacuation for Somali Security Forces in line with the UNSOS mandate.’

UNSOS is mandated by the UN Security Council to provide logistical support to the Somali Security Forces (SSF) and the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) in their joint operations against al-Shabaab.

US embassy Chargé d’Affaires in Mogadishu Shane Dixon says the funds will go a long way in enabling the SSF in the ongoing war against al-Shabaab.

"It is vital that Somali and ATMIS security forces have the strong logistical backing needed to defeat al-Shabaab on the battlefield," said Dixon. "We are proud to support UNSOS, a key partner to the United States and Somalia in our shared goal of advancing peace."

UNSOS is currently mandated to support 15,900 Somali Security Forces concerning specific logistical needs. On her part, UNSOS chief Aisa Kirabo Kacyira hailed the contribution as key in boosting the UNSOS mandate in Somalia.

"This contribution comes at a pertinent time and will positively impact our activities in providing agile logistics support to Somali Security Forces. Our support package is mandated by the UN Security Council and priorities in implementing this support are set by the Federal Government of Somalia," said Kacyira.

Guinea-Bissau: President Embalo rules out any risk of coup d' tat
[AFRICANEWS] The President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, appointed two new officials responsible for his security who took office on Monday without linking this decision to recent coups in Africa, in a country accustomed to coups, said observed an AFP journalist.

These new appointments take place in a context marked by coups in Niger and Gabon , led by presidential security officials.

Generals Tomas Djassi and Horta Inta were respectively named head of presidential security and chief of staff of the President of the Republic on Friday. These two positions, provided for in the official organization chart, had not been filled for several decades.

MM. Djassi and Inta were sworn in on Monday during a ceremony at the presidential palace, in the presence of President Embalo, according to an AFP journalist.

General Djassi was before his appointment at the head of the national guard, an elite unit of the army whose intervention of his men contributed to the failure of the coup d'état aimed at February 2022, according to the authorities , Mr. Embalo, elected in the second round in December 2019.

General Inta was head of the central cop shoppe in Bissau, an institution which has often been run by soldiers.

"It's true that coups perpetrated by officers responsible for presidential security have become a fashion. But if Tomas (Djassi) ventures to (lead) such a project, we will fight for a long time," he said . declared the Head of State of Guinea-Bissau, in response to a question from the press.

"To speak seriously, I reassure you that there will be neither February 2 nor February 3. Any suspicious movement will have an adequate response," he added, in reference to the attempted coup d’état which he says he was a victim on February 1, 2022 and which left 11 dead, according to the government.

Guinea -Bissau suffers from chronic political instability and has been the victim since its independence from Portugal in 1974 of a string of coups or attempted coups, the latest in February 2022.

Central African bloc suspends Gabon over coup
[AFRICANEWS] The Central African regional bloc, known as ECCAS, has announced the suspension of Gabon's membership.

This development comes as General Brice Oligui Nguema was sworn in as the transitional president on Monday, consolidating his grip on power.

The coup unfolded shortly after Ali Bongo was declared the winner of a controversial third term as president. However,
Switzerland makes more than cheese...
General Nguema has not provided a clear timeline for the return to civilian rule in Gabon, leaving the nation in a state of uncertainty.

During a pivotal meeting where leaders from Central Africa gathered to discuss Gabon's suspension, moments of introspection may have emerged.

Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the President of Equatorial Guinea, presided over this gathering and voiced concerns about Gabon's impact on regional peace, security, and stability.

President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, now 81 years old, has been at the helm of Equatorial Guinea since 1979. Much like Ali Bongo's family in Gabon, the Obiang Nguema family has faced allegations of massive embezzlement of state resources and harsh repression of political opposition.

This situation in Central Africa highlights a broader issue on the African continent, where several long-standing leaders have remained in power for extended periods and are understandably apprehensive about any talk of a "coup."

The suspension of Gabon from ECCAS serves as a significant development in the region, shedding light on the ongoing challenges surrounding leadership, governance, and stability in Central Africa.

Britain
Antisemitic London mosque is a 'place of peace,' Jeremy Corbyn claims
[Jpost] Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn praised Finsbury Park Mosque on X as a "place of peace, hope and solidarity" only a few days after the Jewish Chronicle exposed the tax-funded mosque as having hosted a number of antisemitic imams and other Moslem officials.

On September 2, Corbyn published on X: "Finsbury Park Mosque offers a place of peace, hope and solidarity to so many people in our community. We will not be divided by those in our media who seek to sow hatred and fear. It is love for our neighbours, whatever their faith, that unites us all."

The Mosque, which is based in north London, has received almost £300,000 (NIS 1,433,145.60 or $377,549.70 USD) from Islington Council between 2017 and 2022, according to the JC.

In one of several incidences at the mosque, they hosted an Egyptia holy man who pledged to "liberate" al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem from the "filth of the Jews."

Additionally, the mosque’s general secretary Mohammed Kozbar praised Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin as a "the master of the deaders of resistance, the mujahid [holy warrior] sheikh, the teacher" during his trip to Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
in 2015. While Hamas is registered as a terrorist organization by the United Kingdom, at this point in time it was only the military wing of the organization that was categorized as such.

Gary Mond, chairman of the UK's National Jewish Assembly told the Jerusalem Post that "Hate speech being promoted by places of religious worship, whether taxpayer funded or not, is utterly unacceptable in our society and should be prosecuted with the full force of the law."

"It serves ultimately as a cause of violence, especially against Jews in this country. Hate crimes against Jews constitute about 25% of all such incidents although Jews comprise barely 0.5% of the UK population."

"Those who indulge in hate speech belong in prison, and institutions that facilitate it should be closed. The fact that public funds appear to support mosques which host hate speakers begs questions. It is not just how this happened, but how deep the problem really is, and needs full investigation."

TAX-FUNDED EXTREMISM IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
The expose made by the JC brought to light a number of tax-funded mosques that hosted krazed killer speakers.

Birmingham mosque, which received the largest government stipend of £2.2 million, hosted a speaker who has described Jews as "people of envy" who "killed the prophets and the messengers."

The controversial speaker also has a viral video in which he states that adulterous women should be stoned to death.

In Lewisham Islamic Centre, which received £540,000 from the British government, chief imam Shakeel Begg reportedly once called on young Moslems to "go to Paleostine and fight the Zionists."

Recently, growing concern has developed around krazed killer funding in the UK, as the Jerusalem Post reported in July. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office refused to disclose how it ensures its funding for the Paleostinian Authority does not fund the PA's 'Pay for Slay' program which incentivizes terrorism. We Believe in Israel and B’nai B’rith UK are maintaining a legal course of action to gain said information.

Liberty eludes PTI President Parvez Elahi yet again, rearrested by CTD

2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots....

chief minister was taken into custody by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) shortly after being released by the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police in compliance with the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) order, according to well-placed sources.

Earlier today, the IHC suspended the detention of Elahi under 3-MPO (Maintenance of Public Order) and ordered the Islamabad police to release him.

The seasoned politician was rearrested under 3-MPO by the ICT police shortly after being released by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on the Lahore High Court's (LHC) directives on September 1.

The sources privy to the matter said that the PTI president was rearrested by the personnel of the anti-terrorism division of the Islamabad police in a case relating to an attack on the Judicial Complex in the federal capital on March 18.

Following the attack, an FIR was registered at the CTD cop shoppe on the behalf of station police officer (SHO) of Ramna cop shoppe in this regard. The case was filed under 11 charges, including terrorism, the sources added.

A spokesperson of the Islamabad police said that the former provincial chief executive was taken into custody in a CTD case number 3/23. "He [Elahi] has been arrested in the category of unknown people."

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Gemayel says opposition to confront 'Hezbollah's coup'
[An Nahar] Kataeb Party chief Sami Gemayel has anew rejected Speaker Nabih Knobby Berri
...Speaker of the Lebanese parliament, head of the Amal Shiite party aligned with Hezbollah, a not very subtle sock puppet of the Medes and Persians...
’s call for dialogue and said the opposition will confront what he called "Hezbollah’s coup."

"We are the advocates of dialogue and we’re the ones who are adhering to Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
and partnership the most. The moment in which Hezbollah decides to reconsiders its approach we will be ready for dialogue and for finding the solutions that relieve everyone so that we live together, but we are not ready to be second-class citizens," Gemayel said in an interview on al-Jadeed TV.

"We will use institutions, the media, our relations inside and outside the country and the peaceful and popular means to stop the coup process, and this is what Hezbollah will see, because we have moved from the attempt to find solutions to confronting a coup and we are not in a confrontation phase," Gemayel added.

As for Berri’s dialogue call, Gemayel told the Speaker: "You can’t be the manager of a candidate’s campaign and still call for dialogue. You have a direct interest in this issue and this is a joke."

"Berri will only open parliament for the election of Hezbollah’s ally as president ... Should I go to dialogue like a sheep going to slaughter?" Gemayel wondered.

The Kataeb chief also reiterated that his camp will "block elections" to prevent Hezbollah from "imposing its candidate."

"As long as there is an armed militia, the problem will remain present. If they elect their president he will be a puppet and if we elect our president they will kill him," Gemayel charged.

Accordingly, he said that efforts are underway to form "a front that rejects that we be governed by a coup party" or to be "second-class citizens."

As for Hezbollah’s candidate Suleiman Franjieh, Gemayel said: "I respect Franjieh and there is no personal problem with him. The problems is in his choices and in being imposed by Hezbollah."

"Hezbollah wants to be a new Rustom Ghazali in Lebanon through making presidents and governments," Gemayel lamented, referring to a Syrian intelligence officer who had major sway over Lebanon’s politics during Syria’s military presence in Lebanon.
