St. Louis homicide detective blows whistle on Soros-backed DA's 'concerted effort to break down the system'
[FoxNews] Roger Murphy warned young people not to go into law enforcement, saying 'it's not worth it'.

Retired St. Louis homicide detective Roger Murphy speaks out on the criminal chaos in St. Louis Under District Attorney Kimberly Gardner.

A former St. Louis homicide detective and 26-year veteran on the force, said a George Soros-backed district attorney, Kimberly Gardner, placed him on an infamous "exclusion list," which bars officers from being involved in crucial portions of criminal justice proceedings.

Roger Murphy retired in 2021, approximately two years after he said he was put on an exclusion list which made him feel like a sitting duck. As an excluded officer, Murphy would have to ask other officers to file his paperwork to Gardner's office – such as arrest and search warrants, as well as grand jury subpoenas, he said.

Murphy said he left law enforcement for his own sanity. He added that he would not recommend young people become officers. "It's not worth it," he said.

"I just basically sat there, couldn't really do anything. So I just said, I'm sitting here collecting dust and just collecting a paycheck and not doing anything. So what good am I here for the citizens? So I said, 'Well, I'm going to retire to turn my papers in,'" Murphy told Fox News Digital.

It is unknown how many officers are on the list, but estimates have run as high as 75, with some believing it is much higher. Gardner has refused to share the exact number. Officers are gagged from speaking out if they are placed on the list.

"You're given a direct order not to discuss this. So that's a fireable offense," Murphy said.

Officers who are currently at the DA office are terrified to speak out due to retaliation, Murphy said. About 819 officers have left the department around when Gardner took office in 2017, according to the St. Louis Police Pension Board. The department lost an average of 119 officers each year between 2017 and 2019. In 2020, 129 officers left the force, with an additional 174 leaving in 2021.

Gardner's office will even decline to prosecute cases brought forward by some officers on the exclusion list if they were considered essential witnesses and the case could not move forward without their testimony. Some officers who have been placed on the list are victims of shootings, according to KSDK. A local police union told the outlet that it was concerned whether those excluded officers would be able to see justice if they are prohibited from being essential witnesses in criminal cases.

The district attorneys' office has said it places officers on the list – which was created in 2018 – that are believed for one reason or another to be untrustworthy and biased.

A Fox News Digital investigation found that Gardner was implementing policies that would shrink the criminal justice system's footprint in St. Louis in coordination with the Soros-linked Vera Institute of Justice. The private organization appeared to pay its own way to influence the district attorney's office. A Vera representative said that no taxpayer dollars were used.

In order to enter into a partnership with Vera and get its support, DA offices must commit to reducing racial disparities by at least 20%.

According to Murphy, two social media posts on his personal Facebook caused his exclusion. One was critical of Gardner's soft-on-crime approach. "It got to the point where if you criticized our prosecutor here in the city of Saint Louis, she blackballed you."

Upon recommendation from Vera, the DA office applied a "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard – used by a jury to decide whether to convict – for initial charges on cases instead of the standard prosecutors use – probable cause. This effectively shrunk the amount of cases that entered the system.

Murphy said, "So no matter what you did, you arrest somebody, and she wasn't issuing charges… And it got to the point where everybody was shut down because they were like, why am I doing this?"

"Then the system broke down, completely broke down. The police didn't break it down. Kim Gardner broke it down," he said.

Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has moved to fire Gardner and intends to show a judge that Gardner neglected her duties and therefore needed to be removed.

Murphy added that Gardner's refusal to prosecute and charge cases was part of an intent to destroy the system in place.

"You really cannot be that incompetent unless it was a concerted effort to break the system down," Murphy said.

He said he found it bizarre when Gardner's office began requesting the criminal histories of the victims, which he considered to be a move used by attorneys defending criminals at trial.

"They actually got to the point where we had to start bringing in the criminal histories of our victim. They gave more weight to the victim's criminal history. I'm like, ‘What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?’ This man is dead. Or at least the woman has been assaulted. Yes, okay, she's had a criminal past, but... that has nothing to do with it. The fact is that this person is dead."

On the other hand, with career criminals, Murphy said, "We got to disregard this guy's 15 prior felonies, and three prison sentences that he's done, and he's been released early. And we're only going to judge him on this one little case."

In order to enter into a partnership with Vera, DA offices must promise not to consider criminal histories. The reason is that – according to Vera – the criminal justice system is racist.

"[T]he criminal legal system has been a tool of racial oppression and social control… of Black people…. As some of the most powerful actors in the system, prosecutors have a responsibility to work to rectify that impact," Vera said. "Prosecutors should… repair harms caused by the system... They should also dramatically shift the policies, practices, and organizational culture of their offices to address racial disparities and ensure respect for the inherent dignity of all people."

Letting criminals out on the street, Murphy said, encouraged juveniles to shoot at police, feeling like as minors they would face even less consequences. "It was always demoralizing for one for the officers. And the effect is you just let a bunch of criminals go that saw no consequences for action."

"The Vera Institute doesn't have any requirement for public safety to protect the citizens like the prosecutors supposed to. Who do you think she's beholden to the Vera project that is pushing this with all this money she's going to do what they tell her to do," Murphy said.

Fox News Digital reached out to Gardner's office but did not immediately receive a response.

#1  Soros and the Vera Institute have no interest in benefiting the people of St Louis. Once a Soros DA is in place, he or she becomes a squatter in office, not answerable to the public, working on an agenda to break the system. Not only do the DA policies neuter law enforcement, they result is a crazy amount of retirements that send the city into a violent death spiral.

#6  This isn’t whistleblowing as such, but lining up actionable evidence that Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey can use to get Ms Gardner out of office... and possibly into jail herself.

#7  #3 Whistleblower implies that this is something out of the blue - new reporting. Let's connect the hundreds of dots and start making the accusations and finally - FINALLY put the damn Marxists on the defensive. Knock them back on their heals and not let up even with the cries of "uncle!"... don't ever let up until the Marxist ideology is comatose at which point we can debate whether to pull the plug.

#9  She would not be jailed for not doing her job or based on the evidence that has been presented. Politicians, even Dems go to jail occasionally. The priority is to get her out and replaced with a competent person before the police force is no longer a viable alternative to felony.

Bill: Convicted Al-Shabaab terrorists to lose property to Somalia's Government
[Garowe] The anti-terrorism Bill which was recently approved by Somalia's Lower House will allow the state to seize property belonging to al-Shabaab
...... Somalia's version of the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...

convicts once the Senate gives it node and subsequent assenting by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who is the head of state.

Alternatively, the Bill, which is yet to be signed into law, recommends that the government can impose monetary penalties on terror convicts. The bill will now go to the Upper House for consideration and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will append his signature to make it law.

Incidentally, the bill has been on the floor of the house since 2017 and gives government and security agencies sweeping powers to deter, prosecute and counter-terrorism in Somalia. The country is also facing IS-Somalia forces of Evil who have been making inroads from the north.

Close analysis of the Bill shows that Section 32 (b) gives the state power to ’confiscate all property used in the act of terrorism, its facilitation or the reason for its acquisition, even if the property has been transferred to someone else or as it was before it was distorted.’

Further, article 32 (j) gives the government powers to ’confiscate all property owned or controlled by him (terrorist), held or gathered for a terrorist group or organization and all or some of the property owned by a terrorist.’

But importantly, the Bill gives the person who could be having issues with confiscated property some sort of relief because he can appeal the decision within 60 days. Should no complaints arise in this process, the government will proceed and seize the property as enshrined in the law.

Terror-related cases will be handled by the military courts which are said to be the most effective in a country where civilian courts are either dysfunctional or absent. The military courts are opposed by Human Rights groups which insist suspects are not given fair hearings as stipulated in the law of the country.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has announced that his administration is keen to completely defeat the al-Shabaab extortionists and other violent mostly peaceful bad boy groups in the country. The country has been struggling with instability for the last three decades since the ouster of the military regime led by Mohammed Siad Barre in 1991.

Somalia: Al-Shabaab identifies Kenyan behind Manda Airbase attack
[Garowe] The al-Shabaab
...... the personification of Somali state failure...
forces of Evil have identified a Kenyan whom it claims participated in planning and executing the Manda Airbase attack on January 5, 2020, in what triggered a sharp change in US policy on defense in foreign countries after three Americans were killed in the unprecedented raid.

Armed al-Shabaab forces of Evil stormed the base which is controlled by Americans leading to an immense battle that lasted for several hours before key planners were killed. The forces of Evil claimed to have killed soldiers before confiscating armoured vehicles stationed in the base.

In a video posted recently, al-Shabaab identified Ramadan Mwani alias Abdulhaq al-Muhajir as a jacket wallah on Barire, April 3, 2021. Video claims he was among Manda Bay attackers, Jan 5, 2020. He has generally been instrumental in instigating al-Shabaab attacks across the country and the region.

In the video, Mwani is captured along with fellow Manda Bay attackers Ahmed al-Muhajir of Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
and Qudama al-Muhajir of Æthiopia. The forces of Evil are known to be releasing such videos and photograph evidence while emphasizing the claim that the group has recruited from across the region.

The group previously identified some of the Manda Bay attackers. It just emphasizes that the attack was carried out by multi-national forces of Evil as announced by Ahmed Diriye alias Abu Ubaida, the supreme leader of al-Shabaab who has been on US radar for the last seven years when he was announced as the heir apparent to Ahmed Godan.

Abu Ubaida had identified some of the Manda Airbase attackers as Moulana Faruq Moulana, Ahmed al-Muhajir from Yemen and Abubakar al-Muhajir of Tanzania, Ali Muhammad Ali, Qudama al-Muhajir both from Æthiopia along with Abdulwali Muhammad Ibrahim "Moallim Omar" and Adam Iman Yusuf, Abdulkareem from Somalia.
Al-Muhajir means cannon fodder, I suspect.
The forces of Evil have previously managed to recruit fighters from Kenya leading to sustained attacks in the East African nation which has since heightened surveillance along her borders to curb the group from filtration. But still, the group manages to wage sophisticated retaliatory attacks along the border.

Last year, al-Shabaab's attempts to penetrate Æthiopia were thwarted when the forces of Evil crossed temporarily through Dolow, leading to an operation by Æthiopia that left hundreds of them dead. Æthiopia and Kenya contributed soldiers to the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
Transition Mission in Somalia [ATMIS] thus al-Shabaab's fury.

Iraqi military says there are still hundreds of IS fighters active in country

group still has up to 500 active fighters in Iraq, a senior military official estimates, in the country where jihadist cells continue to launch sporadic attacks.

But Iraqi General Qais al-Mohamadawi, part of the anti-jihadist coalition, stresses that IS — now based in remote desert and mountain hideouts — has "lost its ability to attract new recruits."

Mohamadawi, deputy commander of the Iraqi operations unit working with the international anti-jihadist coalition, says that hundreds of IS fighters remain active in Iraq.

"According to information from intelligence agencies, the total number of IS members does not exceed 400 to 500 fighters, in three or four provinces," he tells a presser.

The group has "lost its ability to attract new recruits," he adds, also pointing to a February 26 military operation that had killed 22 IS members and destroyed a "training camp" in al-Anbar province.

Source close to Netanyahu accuses US of funding rallies against judicial overhaul
Is someone over there reading Rantburg?
[IsraelTimes] PM’s son shares Breitbart’s claim that State Department funded protest group; bigwig says AG ’irredeemably audacious’ for freezing transfer of Tel Aviv police chief
The protests are reportedly oganized by the anti-democracy Movement for Quality Government, Antifa’s branch in Israel for driving Bibi Netanyahu and his supporters out of politics. It was previously known as V15 (for Victory 15, the last election Bibi won against the will of a Democratic president), both names being fig leaves for its true identity as the Israeli branch of the Washington, DC-based OneVoice Movement founded by Progressive multi-billionaire Daniel Lubetzky in 2002 as an international “grassroots” front of his PeaceWorks Foundation to drive Israel to fulfill his vision for the region without bothering to become a citizen. The US State Department gave V15 millions of dollars under President Obama, and more in recent years.
A senior government official traveling in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s entourage on his weekend trip to Italia claimed on Friday without offering evidence that the mass protests against the government’s controversial judicial overhaul were partially funded by the Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft
...the pack of self-imagined masterminds of strategy and intrigue at the service of the Biden Crime Family and a grateful nation...
"This protest is financed and organized with millions of dollars," he said.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Over 17.000 Syrians return from Turkey to Syria following quake
[NPASyria] The administration of Bab al-Hawa border crossing with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
, north of Idlib Governorate in northwest Syria, announced on Saturday that the number of Syrians who returned from Turkey to Syria has reached 17.666 ones.

The administration posted on its Facebook account that 298 Syrians entered Syria’s territory in the 24th day after permitting Syrians to return to their country from Turkey.

Recently, Turkey eased border-crossing regulations for Syrians holding the Temporary Protection Identity Card (Kimlik) from any of the earthquake-stricken provinces.

The new law, passed in the wake of the Feb. 6 earthquake, allows Syrians holding the Kimlik from one of the ten quake-hit Ottoman Turkish provinces to return to their country for three to six months. Until recently, the government had followed a populist policy of expelling Syrian refugees and barring their re-entry into Turkey.

Syrian activist muppets have expressed concern that Turkey will not allow their return.

In 2022 alone, 50.000 Syrians were returned from Turkey. Accusations that Ottoman Turkish authorities are forcefully expelling them abound.

The Syrians crossing the border after the earthquake are not convinced of Turkey’s assurances. Many have made a life in Turkey for over a decade. Turkey hosts 3.7 million Syrians; over half live in the 10 quake-affected provinces close to the Syrian border.

ISIS detainees in NE Syria pose great threat to region – CENTCOM
[NPASyria] Gen. Michael "Erik" Kurilla, Commander of US Central Command said on March 9 fighters of Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) in detention camps in northeast Syria are a "veritable" ISIS army in detention that will pose a great threat regionally and abroad if they are freed.

Kurilla visited sites critical to the ongoing efforts to defeat ISIS in northeast Syria for the sixth time during the last 11 months, the CENTCOM tweeted.

The Gen. visited a facility run by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for ISIS fighters in Hasakah, northeast Syria, as it houses more than 5.000 ISIS fighters.

The CENTCOM views ISIS in Syria into three categories and the Gen. has observed them during the visit, according to the tweet.

The categories are: ISIS on the lam, ISIS at detention and the potential next generation of ISIS.

He stressed that "ISIS retains the ability to inspire, direct, organize, and lead attacks in the region and abroad."

He also visited camps for ISIS family members, including Hawl and Roj, and said that the only solution for those in the camps is "repatriation".

Roj Camp, one of several detention camps in northeast Syria, holds about 727 ISIS families, numbering 2.310 individuals including 1.582 children.

Hawl Camp, 45 km east of the city of Hasakah, is a house for 55.829 individuals, including 28.725 Iraqis, 18.850 Syrians and 8.254 of foreign nationalities, according to the latest statistics obtained by North Press.

Israel’s second largest bank involved in illegal Afrin settlements
[NPASyria] Hapoalim Bank, Israel’s second-biggest bank, is being used by a Paleostinian association constructing illegal settlements in the Kurdish region of Afrin.

In a recent Facebook post, the ’Living with Dignity Association’ (Jamia’at al-Aish Bikarama) announced it was selling 100 40-square-meter units on a new settlement being built near Marata, 3 km west of the city of Afrin. According to the association, the plot of land "is guaranteed to have all the infrastructure, as well as a water and sewage line from a Ottoman Turkish association."

The post did not go into detail about the legal mechanism by which the association acquired the land. According to Afrin Post, a local news site, the plot of land is owned by the Kurdish Dado family.

Repatriation of Iraqis from al-Hol camp is ‘impossible’: Expert
[Rudaw] Repatriation of thousands of Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) forces of Evil would be near impossible, an ISIS expert told Rudaw earlier this month talking about the threats the remnants of the terrorist group pose on the region.

A counter-terrorism expert from the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Ido Levy, told Rudaw’s Roj Eli Zalla that those affiliated to the Death Eater group are still perceived as a security threat.

"Even if they don’t want to continue doing terrorist activities, they still have the ideology and radicalize everyone around them", he said.

"That’s why counties like La Belle France, Germany and UK are reluctant to take their citizens back", Levy added, referring to the failure of Western countries to repatriate their citizens still detained in northeast Syria (Rojava).

"Most people of al-Hol are from Iraq and there are tens of thousands of them, to repatriate all of them at once obviously would be impossible," Levy said. Iraqis have made up more than half of the population of al-Hol camp in Rojava’s Hasaka province for years. The camp houses over 50,000 residents, most of which are wives and children of ISIS fighters.

"A lot of times they come back, they are sent to camps and processed and sent back. It’s a very complicated process."
