[Breitbart] Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is vowing to take action and “hunt down” the “cowards” who have been swatting conservative commentators and journalists.
“Under President Trump’s leadership, we will not sit idly by as conservative new media and their families are being targeted by false swatting,” Noem said in an update on X, explaining that DHS has “the ability to trace phone numbers and track location information.”
“We will use it to hunt these cowards down,” she vowed. “This is an attack on our law enforcement and innocent families and we will prosecute it as such.”
DHS’s official X account followed up, repeating those warnings.
The warning follows over a week of what appear to be consistent swatting incidents against conservative personalities, commentators, and journalists. “Swatting” refers to an anonymous attacker calling for emergency services for an individual under false pretenses. Many times, these individuals claim that a violent crime has taken place or is about to, drawing emergency services to that location. The individuals at the location described by the anonymous caller are caught by surprise when emergency responders arrive.
As Breitbart News has extensively reported, over a dozen individuals in the conservative political movement and media have reported swatting attempts against them in just a little over a week:
The string of swatting incidents seemingly began on the evening of March 11, with InfoWars reporter Chase Geiser revealing in an early morning March 12 X post that six to eight “police officers used a PA system to call me by name and order me to walk out of my house.”
“I was handcuffed in the middle of the street, presumably at gunpoint, though I couldn’t tell because of the light being shined on my face,” Geiser recalled. “I was then led into the house where my wife was woken up and we were informed that they received a call from someone pretending to be me and threatening to kill my family.”
…
The following night, independent journalist Nick Sortor announced his family was swatted after his sister received a menacing email.
Others who reported being targets of swatting include conservative commentator Gunther Eagleman, conservative radio talk show host Joe Pagliarulo, conservative commentator Shawn Farash, conservative writer Mike Engleman, and more.
[GatewayPundit] Investigative journalist Bad Kitty Unleashed reported on Thursday that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is involved in a secretive, invite-only club for elite judges in Washington, DC.
The secretive club America Inns of Court also includes the radical America-hating judges James Boasberg, Beryl Howell, Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Amit Mehta—all hard-left judges and Trump-haters.
John Roberts has been Chief Justice of the Supreme Court since September 2005. What in the world is he doing fraternizing in a secret group with far-left colleagues?
This is a shocking development.
The Supreme Court Chief Justice is holding secretive meetings with far-left district judges who are running a judicial coup on the current President of the United States! This is a huge development.
Just think, two days ago, on Tuesday, Chief Justice Roberts released a statement attacking President Donald Trump for calling on these same crooked District judges to be impeached!
And now we have evidence that John Roberts was in a secret group with these same judges!
So who all is linked to this selective and secretive club? And recall all of their negative Trump rulings?
– Judge James Boasberg (President)
– Scotus Ketanji Brown Jackson (Vice President)
– Judge Amit Mehta (Secretary and a meeting held at her court.)
– Judge Beryl Howell
Justice (Professionalism Award)
-Justice John Roberts (Honorary Bencher of the Middle Temple)
The list includes some of the most soulless and vicious judges in DC District Court.
Wasn’t it something else that Judge John Roberts broke ethical conduct and stuck up for his, “brother Boasberg”?
George Soros has funded a fellowship at Middle Temple where John Roberts is a master of the bench.
First let me very quickly explain how this secret society called, the American Inns of Court came about. In the UK, they have the four Inns of Court that dates back hundreds of years. One of those is called Middle Temple (see Roberts photo). Well, the US created the American version of this in recent decades. There’s a massive list of branches.
The branch many of our judges belong to is The Edward Bennett Williams (EBW) Inn of Court. It’s so secretive, they deleted most signs of this branch from their website although they still met.
[WashingtonFreeBeacon] The policy changes, which include a mask ban and permanent 'time, place, and manner rules,' would only start 'long-term' negotiations
The clock is ticking for Columbia University to respond to a series of demands from the Trump administration, which set a March 20 deadline for the school. The administration indicated that implementation of a series of reforms, including a ban on masked protests and the enforcement of disciplinary policies, would serve as a jumping-off point for negotiations between the university and the administration about the restoration of $430 million in federal funds.
Columbia's interim president, Katrina Armstrong, issued a letter on Wednesday that gave no indication of whether the school would meet the administration's requests. Addressed to "fellow members of the Columbia community," the letter acknowledges the Trump administration's "preconditions for 'continued financial relationships with the United States government'" as well as internal questions about "how we will respond."
Columbia, Armstrong wrote, is "committed to doing what's right." She provided no further detail beyond a pledge to "engage in constructive dialogue with our federal regulators," but did tout "the creation of a new Office of Institutional Equity."
The letter came shortly after the Wall Street Journal reported that Columbia "is getting close to yielding to President Trump's demands in negotiations to restore $400 million in federal funding." Sources familiar with the process, however, told the Washington Free Beacon that the parties are nowhere near a deal that would lead to the resumption of funding.
The Trump administration's "preconditions," laid out in a March 13 letter to Armstrong, include a mask ban, an implementation of permanent "time, place, and manner rules" governing protests, and an academic receivership for Columbia's Middle East, South Asian, and African Studies department. But agreeing to those demands would not guarantee the return of federal funds. Instead, the administration's letter calls on Columbia to "ensure and document compliance" with the policies by Thursday to unlock negotiations on "long-term structural reforms."
The demands have set Columbia's left-wing journalism school on edge, pitting professors against each other, according to Breaker. They prompted internal meetings in which one professor, Nina Berman, accused her colleagues of "doxxing" and another, former journalism school dean Nick Lemann, physically collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.
Armstrong nonetheless closed her letter by touting "the progress on our campus."
"We are working around the clock to secure the future of this extraordinary University," she wrote. "As we move forward, we will always be guided by our principles of free expression, academic freedom and the pursuit of excellence, and we will never waver in our abiding commitment to Columbia's mission of teaching, creating, and advancing knowledge."
[CampusReform] City Journal also reports that Neuropsychology Professor Jennifer Manly has involvement in approximately $100 million in federal grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the last several decades. The outlet notes that much of her work consists of the "so-called social determinants of health thesis, posits that racism, sexism, and homophobia can cause brain disease in ’Black and Latinx communities’—a thesis that critics have described as pseudo-science."
Rufo and Grossman also note that in an interview from last year, Manly stated that, "we shouldn’t blame people for their lifestyle choices in terms of their brain health," concerning the idea that racism contributes to Alzheimer’s. She also reportedly advanced the idea that "systems of oppression" cause minorities to suffer from higher rates of dementia.
In January, Manly published a taxpayer-funded article that suggests that "racism is associated with inflammation and dementia risk." This research was part of a NIH grant of over $700,000, according to City Journal.
Manly’s university biography notes that her "research focuses on mechanisms of inequalities in cognitive aging and Alzheimer’s Disease." The web page also acknowledges that "[h]er research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Alzheimer’s Association, and she has authored over 220 peer-reviewed publications and 10 chapters."
In 2021, Manly was elected to the National Academy of Medicine. During 2011-2015, she served on the HHS Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care and Services.
[WaPo via MSN] The husband of former congresswoman Cori Bush (D-Missouri) has been charged in connection with more than $20,000 in payments from the pandemic-era Paycheck Protection and Economic Injury Disaster Loan programs, according to an indictment filed in D.C. federal court on Thursday.
All sorts of interesting people have been caught in this particular trap, and are finding themselves taken off the board. Despite the expense, it may well turn out to have been a worthwhile investment in cleansing the body politic, now that President Trump’s team have taken charge.
Cortney Merritts, 46, faces two counts of wire fraud for allegedly filing sham applications in 2020 and 2021 with the Small Business Administration, enabling him to collect money aimed at helping struggling businesses make payroll during the pandemic.
The indictment was signed by Ed Martin, the interim U.S. attorney for D.C., whom Trump has nominated to serve as the permanent top prosecutor in the nation’s capital. The investigation into Merritts appears to have begun during the Biden administration.
An attorney for Merritts said he plans to plead not guilty.
🚨🇺🇸 DOGE SHUTS DOWN FEDERAL AGENCY EXPOSED FOR MASSIVE CORRUPTION
One of the seven agencies DOGE dismantled last week, FMCS, was caught using taxpayer money as a personal slush fund—funneling cash into luxury perks, bogus contracts, and outright fraud.
Consequences. The can can’t be kicked down the road any longer.
[Breitbart] The City of Los Angeles is bracing for layoffs of thousands of municipal employees due to a budget crisis that is said to be “inevitable,” as the city is reeling from recent wildfires and still preparing to host the 2028 Summer Olympics.
If only they had a DOGE of their own, the deficit would be wiped out and the city saved. Or if they hadn’t kept electing corrupt Democrats. Oh well…
The Los Angeles Times reported:
L.A.’s financial problems exploded into a full-blown crisis on Wednesday, with the city’s top budget official announcing that next year’s shortfall is now just shy of $1 billion, making layoffs “nearly inevitable.”
City Administrative Officer Matt Szabo advised the City Council to focus on cost-cutting measures, including a potential reduction in the size of the workforce, to bring the budget into balance for 2025-26.
Szabo, in his presentation to the council Wednesday, attributed the city’s financial woes, in part, to increased spending on legal payouts, which have ballooned over the past few years. Tax revenues have been coming in much weaker than expected — and are expected to soften further in the upcoming budget year, which starts July 1.
Mayor Karen Bass put a positive spin on the shortfall, issuing a press statement hailing the opportunity to make “fundamental change in the way the City operates” and promising to “reduce spending significantly while protecting essential services.” Bass blamed the Palisades Fire, which not only required more emergency spending, but also reduced the city’s property tax base. She called for “sweeping structural reform of the City’s budget and operations.”
She wrote a letter to Szabo, telling him to produce a budget that would save between $500 million and $900 million.
While struggling with a staggering budget deficit, the City Council voted unanimously in November to become a “sanctuary city,” welcoming illegal migrants despite the fact that they consume more of the city’s scarce services.
It is unclear how L.A. will prepare for the challenge of hosting the Olympic Games while city budgets continue to fall.
Los Angeles is not alone: San Francisco also faces a $1 billion deficit, despite hundreds of millions of dollars being pumped into the city by the Biden administration’s spending, which came at the end of the coronavirus pandemic.

[GatewayPundit] Elon Musk, the tech billionaire and now self-proclaimed advocate for government efficiency, has revealed a stunning financial scandal hidden within the depths of our government.
Speaking on Senator Ted Cruz’s Verdict podcast, Musk disclosed the existence of what he calls “magic money computers.”
During the explosive interview, Musk explained how these government computers can conjure up trillions of dollars out of thin air—completely detached from a synchronized network.
According to Musk, 14 such machines have been uncovered across various agencies, mostly at the Treasury Department, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Defense (DOD), and even the State Department.
Musk’s revelations suggest that federal spending is even more chaotic and reckless than the public realizes. With multiple “magic money computers” operating independently, government agencies are issuing massive payments that don’t add up to the numbers being reported to Congress or the American people.
[NYPOST] The Big Apple's controversial law allowing noncitizens to vote in city elections was struck down by the state's highest court Thursday.
The New York Court of Appeals ruled 6-1 that the law — passed by the City Council in late 2021, with the support of current Democratic mayoral candidates Adrienne Adams and Brad Lander — violated the state constitution.
''Whatever the future may bring, the New York Constitution as it stands today draws a firm line restricting voting to citizens,'' the opinion states.
No noncitizens in New York City ever cast a vote under the law, as it quickly was challenged in the courts.

Instead of cheering, our response should be "What the hell took you so long?".
[RedState] California Gov. Gavin Newsom (Democrat, of course) bragged about a huge budget surplus during the COVID lockdowns and made big promises to his core constituencies about how they were going to use that money. For many reasons (pandemic unemployment fraud, gross mismanagement, huge tax base losses) that surplus isn't just gone; the state has such a large shortfall that some agencies were ordered to stop ordering office supplies.
Last year, despite loud warnings about the cost from (most) California Republicans and anyone else with a brain, Newsom and his band of virtue-signaling Democrats made Medi-Cal available to illegal aliens in the state - and now Medi-Cal is bankrupt and Newsom's asking the legislature for $6.2 billion just to keep it solvent through the end of the fiscal year.
Surprisingly, he admits that paying for healthcare coverage for illegal aliens is "partially" contributing to Medi-Cal's funding shortfall.
Where will that money Newsom's requesting come from? The state's general fund will probably be raided, and monies earmarked for other things (most likely from the $10 billion "climate change" bond voters approved last year, so not from anything important) will be diverted to pay for this boondoggle.
Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones (R-San Diego) wants to know why estimates were so far off (and so do the rest of us):
Just days after the Newsom Administration announced a $3.4 billion loan to cover Medi-Cal for illegal immigrants, they are now scrambling to secure an additional $2.8 billion just to keep the program solvent through June.
That’s a staggering $6.2 billion over budget...and the costs keep climbing with no end in sight. Californians should not be forced to shoulder the burden of radical Democrats' reckless financial mismanagement.
Even Jerry Brown refused to expand Medi-Cal to all illegal immigrants because he knew it was fiscally irresponsible and unsustainable. Now under Newsom, legal residents are paying the price both financially and in reduced access to healthcare.
The public deserves answers: Why are the costs so much higher than what Newsom promised? What is Newsom’s plan to fix the financial disaster he created?

Remember in 2013, California designated itself a “sanctuary state” and then re-enforced it in 2017 with the media dubbed California Values Act.
It now has an Illegal population of well over
2.6++ million residing there. Making it the #1 state in the USA for illegal immigrants.
The CAL. State is so screwed up and hard to survive in now. That Illegals are actually leaving CAL. for Red states. Where illegal manual labor, employment is possible and better living conditions can be found and paid for by the Illegals themselves.
[Breitbart] Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer saved millions of taxpayer dollars by slashing grants to foreign countries that were similar to those of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
Secretary Chavez-DeRemer was sworn in a week ago and has already made headway into trimming the budget at the Department of Labor (DOL) by slashing tens of millions of dollars in grants to foreign countries to shore up their labor policies.
Interesting that she is the one that the unions pushed hard to put in place because of her reputation as a friend of unionization. Could she be another Trump convert like Marco Rubio and JD Vance?
Breitbart News has learned exclusively that the Labor Department has sent taxpayer dollars overseas. The cuts DeRemer has made so far include:
Cutting a $1.5 million grant to enhance transparency and accountability in Uzbekistan’s cotton industry
Eliminating a $7 million grant promoting climate change policies and practices in Brazil, Chile, South Africa, and Colombia
Scrapping $18 million in grants promoting collective bargaining in Brazil, Colombia, Cote D’Ivoire, Indonesia, and Guatemala
Slashing a $1.5 million grant to improve compliance in workplace standards for the country of Georgia
Many of these grants are similar to those of USAID, which sent untold millions of dollars to foreign governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other groups.
It’s a model that worked, so long as no one acted on what they might happen to see. No doubt the same model has been applied across the government — it’ll be interesting to see how many billions of dollars Secretary C-DR manages to cut in the first pass… and then in the second.
The canceled foreign grants follow Secretary Chavez-DeRemer’s declaration on day one as head of the Labor Department that the department would move to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.
In a memo last week to executive staff and agency heads within the DOL, she ordered a review of budgets to identify opportunities to cut “wasteful contract spending” and recommend ways to “cut redundancies and low-performing employees.”
“By adhering to the principles of fiscal responsibility and efficiency, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of millions of Americans,” she wrote in the memo.
“At the direction of the President, the Department of Labor has already saved the American taxpayer $125 million, and this important work must continue to root out waste, fraud, and abuse,” she contended, noting that many of these contracts include discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training and consulting.
“Thank you for your dedication to our mission of Putting American Workers First as we work together on behalf of President Trump to usher in a new Golden Age of economic prosperity,” she wrote in her memo to staff. “I look forward to collaborating to create a positive impact on the lives of millions of workers and their families.”
