[NYPost] Hunter Biden fled last week to South Africa for a luxury vacation — with round-the-clock Secret Service protection — avoiding a grueling deposition scheduled for this week in a California lawsuit.
California District Court Judge Herman Vera granted Hunter’s motion to dismiss the case Thursday after the former first son claimed he was too broke to continue suing former Trump staffer Garrett Ziegler and his nonprofit Marco Polo.
But photographs show Hunter was already in Cape Town the day the case was dismissed, staying in a $500-a-night beachfront villa described on its website as an “ultra-luxurious designer home with spectacular 180 degrees unobstructed views of the sea.”
Ziegler’s lawyers alleged to the court last week that Hunter had fled to South Africa to potentially “avoid his deposition in this case,” which was set for this week, after originally being planned for February.
“He was in South Africa before the judge even decided the case,” Ziegler said Friday. “That means he is assuming his daddy’s appointee is gonna rubber stamp what he wants.”
Hunter and his South African-born wife Melissa Cohen were spotted walking around the high-end shopping district of Cape Town with their Secret Service detail this week in photos provided to The Post by independent reporter Laura Loomer.
$200,000 IN LEGAL COSTS
Ziegler will include the images in his next court filing seeking $200,000 in legal costs incurred after Hunter sued over him over Marco Polo’s digitized version of his notorious “laptop from hell.”
The scandal-prone 55-year-old son of Joe Biden does not qualify for statutory Secret Service protection, which only applies to former presidents’ children aged under 16, per the Former Presidents Protection Act (codified in 18 USC, Section 3056).
But Biden issued an executive memorandum before he left the presidency indefinitely extending Secret Service protection for his son, according to Trump administration sources.
OUTRAGE AT EXPENSES
“While we can’t comment on the specifics of our protective means and methods, we can confirm Mr. Biden is an authorized protectee of the US Secret Service,” Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told The Post on Friday.
Guglielmi would not confirm that 18 Secret Service agents have traveled to Cape Town with Hunter. But he said, “Our agents are trained, authorized and mandated by federal law to provide security anywhere in the world for individuals under our protection.”
The cost to the taxpayer potentially would be a half-million dollars, at a time when the Secret Service is stretched thin.
President Trump extended Secret Service protection to his four adult children for six months after he left office in 2021, prompting heavy criticism from Democrats and media outlets who complained about the estimated cost of $1.7 million.

$15,000 a month waterfront villa-who is picking up the tab for that and why? Hiding in a BRICS country allows him to receive funding with no US government oversight on financial transactions. Curious, no? When the USSS detail gets pulled, will be interesting to see where his security comes from.
[Gateway] The hammer is about to drop on Act Blue, the Democrats’ golden goose of fundraising, as House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) teams up with the FBI to expose what could be the biggest money-laundering scandal in American political history.
In an explosive interview with Benny Johnson, Comer laid out a damning case against the far-left fundraising juggernaut, accusing it of funneling billions in suspicious cash—potentially from foreign adversaries—into Democrat coffers under the guise of "grassroots" donations.
"We’re investigating ActBlue the same way we investigated the Bidens," Comer said. "We’re starting with the suspicious activity reports—bank violations that flag financial crimes. And let me tell you, the evidence is overwhelming."
As Comer’s investigation progresses, chaos is unfolding inside ActBlue. Key executives are resigning. Lawyers are jumping ship. Employees are getting locked out of their computers, sending frantic messages about whistleblowers.
The chairman detailed how his committee began investigating ActBlue after discovering a flood of small-dollar donations from untraceable sources, many from elderly Americans who were unaware their names were being used to funnel cash into the Democrat machine.

When I read "We’re investigating ActBlue the same way we investigated the Bidens,"
So naturally the real question is and has been.
Will there be actual, real arrests with serious charges for all those involved? Or will we see the usual "censored", "fined", and/or "probation", as punishment.
Will it include the elected members of congress, those they appointed, and the staff involved in funneling Taxpayer $$$$ into it, and then out into certain pockets?
Because, anything short of a full accountability and real jail time is unacceptable.

Buttigieg lacks political horsepower. With no know accomplishments, the only reason we know his name is because he became famous as Transportation Secretary for being a bad one.
He will eventually accept the Vice Prez position in "Big Gretch" Whitmer's presidential run.
[GEO.TV] The Trump administration has abruptly suspended journalists at US-funded broadcasters, including Voice of America and Radio Free Asia, ordering them to leave their offices and surrender equipment in a move critics say weakens America's global media influence.
Hundreds of news hounds and other staff at VOA, Radio Free Asia, Radio Free Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... and other outlets received a weekend email saying they will be barred from their offices and should surrender press passes, office-issued telephones and other equipment.
Trump, who has already eviscerated the US aid agency and Education Department, on Friday issued an executive order listing the US Agency for Global Media as among "elements of the federal bureaucracy that the president has determined are unnecessary."
Kari Lake, a firebrand ...firebrands are noted more for audio volume and the quantity of spittle generated than for any actual logic in their arguments... Trump supporter and former Arizona news anchor who was put in charge of the media agency after she lost a US Senate bid, wrote — in an email to media outlets she supervises — that federal grant money "no longer effectuates agency priorities."
A White House press official, Harrison Fields, took a much less legalistic tone in a post on X, simply writing "goodbye" in 20 languages, a sarcastic jab at VOA's multilingual coverage.

....VOA hasn't been on our side for a long time. Not sorry to see them take the hit.
BLUF: Instead of the FBI moving to a huge, new campus in Maryland, they’re going to downsize in the old Department of Commerce building on Constitution Avenue. The Herbert Hoover building is only 25% as big as the current FBI HQ in the J. Edgar Hoover building, which was already slated to be sold.
[PJMedia] President Donald Trump ...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down... 's speech about "turning the page" on unequal treatment under the law at the Department of Justice on Friday upset all the right people—especially the old guard at the FBI.
During his one-hour speech, complete with occasional sidebars about everything from former Indiana basketball coach Bobby Knight to the bravery of Florida Federal Judge Aileen Cannon, Trump named names and kicked some cabooses. Trump made it clear that the DOJ and FBI's illegal ways of meting out justice in the past were over.
At the DOJ hall, Trump calmly name-checked "deranged" Jack Smith and Andrew Weissmann, both of whom tried to throw the president in jail for unmerited reasons. "Norm Eisen of CREW...he's been after me for nine years." Trump used the names of these now MSNBC experts as a purpose pitch. If you're not a baseball fan, you'll have to look it up.
He told the crowd, filled with new and old justice officials, that it was "a great honor to have fired James The spine of the FBI is the rule of law Comey The disgraced, except in his own mind, former head of the FBI... ," the FBI director who sent honeypot agents into the early days of the Trump campaign without predication, tried to blackmail Trump with the dossier news, giving CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... a reason to report the fake news (CNN has never returned its White House Correspondents award for this fake story), and setting the media hook for the Russia collusion farce that was an ongoing election interference operation.
Trump said, "These are bad people," and that the people who broke the law and violated their oaths "need to go to jail." Indeed, the latest revelation that Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier... turned over both Trump and Mike Pence's phone which the FBI exploited without a warrant, and then used the phone to apply for a warrant afterward, is yet another example of how federal law enforcement broke the law to Get Trump.
But he saved his biggest and most powerful verbal ordnance to explode in the faces of those who, in the midst of the Russia collusion nonsense, were rewarded with a brand new building by Trump!
Trump announced that the FBI will not get its new headquarters campus in Maryland. Indeed, he's never wanted it in the suburbs.
I've reported on plans for this new FBI campus before. The sprawling, Silicon Valley-like campus dwarfs the ugly FBI building in D.C. Trump said the proposed Maryland campus site is too far away—he called it "three hours away," which it's not, unless it's a Friday get-away day.
DEI, environmental, and other tangential things were suffused into the plans for the new campus.
Trump and everyone else in Washington, D.C. hates the utilitarian look of the FBI HQ on Capitol Hill. There are plans to sell off the old Hoover FBI HQ. It's expected to be renovated or torn down for D.C. condos and retail space.
Trump said, "Under Director Patel, we're getting the FBI agents out of the headquarters in Washington, D.C. and back on the streets in pursuit of dangerous criminals, where they belong and where they want to be."
After initially saying he wanted to build a new HQ on the site of the old FBI building, Trump said Kash Patel told him he wanted to move into the old Department of Commerce building on Constitution Avenue, and "about 25% the size" of the J. Edgar Hoover building. Oddly, the Commerce Department building is named for President Herbert Hoover.
The imaginary headline of this story could read, "Former Director Chris Wray Most Hurt by Trump's New FBI Plan." Wray was rewarded a new headquarters during the first Trump administration, though he spied on Trump, paid informants to go to the J6 breach, deployed assets to the Jan. 6 Capitol breach and lied about it, approved of the Mar-a-Lago raid, and investigated Trump for election interference—allegations that never panned out and seemed to be part of a concerted effort by the Old Guard to do everything possible to destroy Trump's reputation. He lied about it all to Congress.
And then Trump got elected...and vanquished the Old Guard's FBI edifice complex.
[DAILYCALLER] Democratic strategist James Carville said during a Thursday podcast that he was in the Socialist paradise of San Francisco ...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964... instructing numerous party donors that ''stunts'' are not an effective way to combat President Donald Trump ...So far he's been unkillable, and they've tried.... On ''Lunch with Jamie,'' Carville pointed to Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... ' behavior during Trump's March 4 congressional address, where Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green interrupted the speech and numerous politicians held up signs. Carville suggested the party's approach lacked dignity and was not suited for the moment.
''As we speak, I'm in San Francisco with a lot of Democratic donors. And I'm telling them the last thing we want is throwing our hands in the air, screaming, protesting or anything like that,'' Carville said. ''This is a critical time in the history of the country. I'm 80 years old. I have never, ever been not close to as afraid for the country as I am now.''
''And I think the Democrats — we act like it. I think we should be determined, we should be dignified, okay? And that's got to guide how we do this,'' he continued. ''This is not the time for stunts, it really isn't — I always say Carville's first commandment of politics is: 'Thou shalt not make an ass out of thyself.' And people ought to keep that in mind.''
Carville told Fox News Digital in an interview published Friday that Democrats face pressure from donors who ''demand'' they take action against Trump.
''I think we're at a very perilous moment in the country. I really do. I think it might go the wrong way. And what I think Democrats should do is act like it's a very grave situation,'' he said. ''And, I know that they get donors that call them and demand something.''
Pollster Frank Luntz said on March 6 that voters detested Democrats' conduct at Trump's congressional address.
''The viewers really dislike[d] [it]. They saw this performance art. They saw it as a bad form of opposition,'' Luntz said.
''And in fact, what they decided to do with those paddles, what they decided to do with Congressman Green, was absolutely abhorrent to voters,'' he added.
A CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... poll conducted by SSRS on the night of Trump's speech found that 80% of the viewing audience believed Green's interruption was ''inappropriate.''

Instead of displaying ANY actual leadership skills to help rebuild America. It seems, for some time, the Liberal Pervert Democrats Leaders have made their party members look more like some High School group, forcing members to take part in scripted short political protest events and videos.
BTW: I nominate Nancy Pelosi as KAREN of the year for 2024.
Maxine Waters is strong in the running for 2025 already.
[DAILYCALLER] White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Harrison Fields criticized Democratic Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Rep. The Ageless and Downright Brilliant Comrade Maxine Impeach 45! Waters ...U.S. Representative for life from California's 43rd congressional district, serving since 1991, a total of 33.28805 years. A member of the Democratic Party, she is the most senior of the twelve black women currently serving in the United States Congress, and a member and former chair of the Congressional Black Caucus. Before becoming a member of Congress she served in the California Assembly, to which she was first elected back when Disco was in flower, in 1976, which would make it 48.28599 years. She has been a politician for virtually all her adult life. If she was a little brighter she'd be a Communist... on Fox Business Friday, suggesting that her retirement would be a good thing for the U.S. Capitol.
During the Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. ' annual issues retreat in Northern Virginia Friday, Waters accused President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons... of trying to incite violence and start a civil war through disruptive policies like imposing tariffs, firing federal employees, and empowering Elon Musk to dismantle government services. In an appearance on ''The Evening Edit,'' Fields responded and said Waters is ''not a credible voice'' and recounted her past calls for confrontational protests against Republicans.
''Maxine Waters is another good reason why we need term limits. This is a woman that entered Congress before I was even born. At 86 years old, she is still spewing the same crazy stuff that she spewed over 30 years ago,'' Fields told host Elizabeth MacDonald. ''Maxine Waters is not a credible voice.''
Fields continued by referencing Waters' past remarks encouraging confrontations with Republicans.
''She was the same Maxine Waters that a couple of years ago was telling people to hit the streets, get in the faces of Republicans, and yell and scream and carry on,'' Fields said. ''She's not a serious woman. She is an agitator who is not becoming of a congresswoman. No one should take her seriously. Hopefully she will retire because the U.S. Capitol will be a whole lot better without her in it.''
MacDonald then pointed to a broader sense of disconnect within the Democratic Party and cited recent polling indicating Americans are tired of pandemic shutdowns, social justice riots, and ongoing mandates.

I nominate Maxine Waters for Post-Menopausal Racist Mega-KAREN of the year for 2025.

Her ridiculous tirades are useful in many cases. She turns liberal positions into toxic hazmat sites every time she blurts out her opinion.

A classic example why the "Safe Districts" carved out by affirmative action gerrymandering are a BAD idea. You get radical looney Tunes that do not have to face a meaningful opponent to justify their ideas in a local election.
[JUSTTHENEWS] Five states are considering legislation or ratifying constitutional amendments that would either implement voter ID or prevent non-citizen voting, as both issues have become significant election integrity concerns.
Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Utah and Wisconsin are in the process of strengthening election integrity by pushing forward bills or proposed constitutional amendments that would verify a voter's identity and/or ensure that they are a U.S. citizen before voting. Only about half of the states have voter photo ID, and just 15 explicitly prohibit non-citizen voting.
77% FAVOR ID: POLLS According to a Rasmussen Reports poll released last month, 77% of U.S. likely voters believe that requiring photo ID to vote is a reasonable measure to protect election integrity. The survey was conducted Jan. 26-28 of 1,229 U.S. likely voters, with a margin of error of /- 3 percentage points.
As of November, 35 states require voters to present a form of identification to cast their ballots, but some states have exceptions. Of the 35 states, 23 require voters to present photo ID, with some exceptions, and 12 do not explicitly require it. There are 15 states that do not require voter ID to vote in person on Election Day.
Meanwhile,
...back at the barn, Bossy was furiously chewing her cud and thinking... thousands of non-citizen voters were discovered on voter rolls of several states last year. While non-citizens are prohibited from voting in federal, state and most local elections, the states of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, Maryland and Vermont, and Washington, D.C., allow non-citizens to vote in local elections.
Following the approval of ballot measures to ban non-citizen voting in eight states last year, there are now 15 in total that allow only U.S. citizens to vote in elections: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
[NATIONALREVIEW] Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Friday that she is cracking down on leaks coming from inside the intelligence community to left-wing media organizations.Gabbard declared on X that ''politically motivated'' leaks by intelligence officials will come to an end and listed several examples of unauthorized leaks to news outlets.
''Our nation's Intelligence Community must be focused on our national security mission. Politically motivated leaks undermine our national security and the trust of the American people, and will not be tolerated,'' Gabbard said.
''Unfortunately, such leaks have become commonplace with no investigation or accountability. That ends now. We know of and are aggressively pursuing recent leakers from within the Intelligence Community and will hold them accountable.''
Gabbard highlighted an undisclosed leaker who shared classified information with the progressive Huffington Post and another who imparted information about Israel and Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... to the Washington Post. A third leaker shared details about the U.S.-Russia relationship to NBC News and a fourth disclosed activities from the national counterintelligence and security center, a division within Gabbard's office, to The Record, a cybersecurity publication.
''Any unauthorized release of classified information is a violation of the law and will be treated as such,'' Gabbard concluded. Gabbard did not specify whether the leakers she identified were terminated from their positions.
The intelligence leakers will likely be referred to Attorney General Pam Bondi for prosecution. Bondi has taken a hard stance against unauthorized leakers, warning them of severe consequences. Leaks from the intelligence community and the broader administrative state were a problem for President Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... throughout his first term, helping entrench Trump's distrust for the intelligence community and federal employees, who are overwhelmingly Democratic in their political affiliation.
