[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A shooting at a pub in Toronto has left at least 12 people wounded and some fighting for their lives while the suspect is still at large.
Police said they were called to reports of multiple people being shot near Progress Avenue and Corporate Drive at around 10.40pm on Friday local time.
Toronto paramedics had said 11 adults suffered injuries ranging from minor to critical, but police later said 12 people were hurt.
Four people were also confirmed to not have life-threatening injuries but the extent of the remaining injuries was still unknown.
Police said a suspect wearing a black balaclava was seen fleeing in a silver car and was still at large. People were being warned to stay away from the area.
Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said she had spoken to police Chief Myron Demkiw and was told 'all necessary resources' had been deployed.
'This is an early and ongoing investigation - police will provide further details,' she wrote on social media. 'My thoughts are with the victims and their families.'
[Yahoo] A firing squad in South Carolina executed Brad Keith Sigmon on Friday for the beating deaths of his ex-girlfriend's parents, marking the first firing squad execution in the state in modern history and the first in the U.S. since 2010.
Sigmon was strapped to a specially made chair and had a hood over his head while three volunteer corrections staffers aimed loaded rifles at his heart and each fired off live rounds, according to several news media witnesses who spoke at a news conference afterward. He was pronounced dead at 6:08 p.m., the witnesses said.
#4
"Sigmon was convicted of battering David and Gladys Larke, aged 62 and 59, respectively, to death with a baseball bat on April 27, 2001, a week after he and his former girlfriend had broken up"
So it only took just 23+ YEARS to execute him and to have justice done.
Maybe I'll spend a few hrs today and dig up the list of the Liberal Lawyer & Legal groups names that file appeal and execution stay after stay.
Because in doing their Liberal anti-death penalty actions, they perverted justice. They forced the citizens of SC to feed, care and house this POS for 23+ years.
All after, there was NO DOUBT he violently murdered 2 Sr. Citizens of his ex-GF parents with a baseball bat no less.
[NY Post] 14? Just put him to death. He's Unreachable
One Newark police officer was killed and another is "fighting for his life" in critical condition after a shootout with a 14-year-old suspect Friday evening, according to reports.
Shots rang out around 6:30 p.m. near a White Castle and McDonald’s where the teen was hanging out with friends, ABC7 reported, citing the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. The young gunman allegedly fired a total of 29 shots at officers, sources told PIX11.
Both officers were hit in the flurry of bullets and were taken to University Hospital, ABC7 reported.
The injured officer is in critical condition and is "fighting for their life," the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association said in a statement.
There are conflicting reports about the status of the teen, with PIX 11 sources saying he was killed, while ABC 7 reported he was taken into custody.
The suspect was hanging with a large group at the fast-food restaurants just before the incident, but it is not clear what led to the shootout, according to ABC 7.
"I have been updated on an incident that took place in Newark earlier tonight involving two officers that were shot," New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy wrote on X.

Right, Glen. The obvious answer (to Democrats) is to make it harder for law-abiding ADULTS to obtain (or even keep) guns. That would have prevented this tragedy. /sarcasm
[JustTheNews] Arguing against their own interests: While legacy media celebrated the $1 million punitive libel award against conservative blogger Mark Steyn as a "victory" in protecting climate scientists from "attacks," they've so far ignored the decision to reduce the award to $5,000.
By Kevin Killough
A Washington, D.C. district Judge Tuesday reduced the punitive damages award granted to celebrity climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann in a defamation lawsuit against Rand Simberg, an analyst at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, and National Review blogger Mark Steyn. In February 2024, a D.C. jury had awarded Mann a single dollar in compensatory damages from Steyn but added $1 million in punitive damages. Judge Alfred Irving lowered the amount to $5,000.
The reduction in award — called "remittitur" — comes less than two months after Irving ordered Mann to pay the National Review Inc. more than $500,000 in the publication’s lawsuit against Mann over the same case. The publication succeeded in having the case dismissed under D.C.'s "Anti-SLAPP law" that provides for attorneys fees to a successful libel defendant in a matter of public concern.
The D.C. jury’s $1 million award was widely reported in many legacy media outlets, most of whom protest defamation awards against journalists. Yet, there’s been little coverage of the ruling against Mann in the either National Review’s lawsuit or the reduction of the award even though they may benefit from rulings such as this.

So, lemme see if I get this right. The much-vaunted Dr. Mann sued for defaming his hockey stick graph and was awarded a dollar plus $5000. In return. he has to pay $500,000 attorneys fees to the defendants he accused?
This stated in 2012, by the way. WIll there be further appeals?

{EPA, hat tip, Red State] U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin announced the agency completed its Phase 1 hazardous materials mission related to the catastrophic Los Angeles County wildfires in under 30 days, as directed by President Donald J. Trump in an Executive Order. This effort has been the largest wildfire hazardous waste cleanup in the history of the EPA.
"President Trump set an extremely ambitious deadline for EPA to clean up all hazardous materials in the wake of the deadly California wildfires. Thanks to his leadership and the hard work of countless personnel in the field, we got it done in record time. There is still a long road ahead for thousands of residents who lost everything just a few weeks ago, but EPA is proud to do our part in the recovery process. The community will rebuild stronger than ever before," said Administrator Zeldin.

Surveillance footage provided by troopers captured Morgan sprinting in the hospital's hallway during his escape.
He was last seen wearing a long white jacket, police said. Authorities warned eagle-eyed locals to stay away from him. ''If you see Morgan, do not approach him,'' cops said.
Anyone with information should call State Police Middletown at (845) 344-5300. New York State Police did not say why he was in jug. I seen dis movie. The space aliens wuz real.

But he'll soon be living in state-provided housing, courtesy of New York taxpayers, and NY law enforcement will be reminded to not cooperate with the Feds, right?
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] President Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... on Friday morning announced that the US would cease sending federal funding to South Africa.
"South Africa is being terrible, plus, to long time Farmers in the country. They are confiscating their LAND and FARMS, and MUCH WORSE THAN THAT. A bad place to be right now, and we are stopping all Federal Funding," Trump wrote.
Demographics matter. Ask any Jew.
"To go a step further, any Farmer (with family!) from South Africa, seeking to flee that country for reasons of safety, will be invited into the United States of America with a rapid pathway to Citizenship. This process will begin immediately!" A "rapid pathway" that has been anything but "rapid" previously.
An executive order signed by Trump stated that the African country recently enacted Expropriation Act 13 of 2024, which enables the government to "seize ethnic minority Afrikaners' agricultural property without compensation."
"This Act follows countless government policies designed to dismantle equal opportunity in employment, education, and business, and hateful rhetoric and government actions fueling disproportionate violence against racially disfavored landowners."
"In addition, South Africa has taken aggressive positions towards the United States and its allies, including accusing Israel, not Hamas ..the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... , of genocide in the International Court of Justice, and reinvigorating its relations with Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... to develop commercial, military, and nuclear arrangements."
The order continued, "The United States cannot support the government of South Africa's commission of rights violations in its country or its 'undermining United States foreign policy, which poses national security threats to our Nation, our allies, our African partners, and our interests."
The order states that "it is the policy of the United States that, as long as South Africa continues these unjust and immoral practices that harm our Nation," the US "shall not provide aid or assistance to South Africa" and "shall promote the resettlement of Afrikaner refugees escaping government-sponsored race-based discrimination, including racially discriminatory property confiscation."

Thank you Elon and President Trump.
We've seen it all preeviously:
"Placing a figure on the amount stolen from Jews between 1933 and 1945 is impossible. Even the more conservative estimates begin at $US8 billion. The vast majority of this stolen property was privately owned by individual Jews and Jewish families."

Wait for it.
Liberals, Democrats, BLM and ANTI-MAGA to start screaming Racism. Despite the fact, it is the South African Gov. stealing the land and killing the White Farmers.
Plus, suddenly there will be a sudden increase of Black African Islamic Farmers needing a pathway and $$$$$ to move and stay here.

From an esteemed author, friend, and retired IC professional:
I knew when they gave the blacks majority rule, they had signed their own death warrant. But you can't tell silly liberals anything that conflicts with their fantasies. You'd think they would have learned from what happened to Rhodesia, but no. You simply can't change early iron age cultures in a few generations. It's small comfort that when they drive out the white farmers, food production will collapse as it did in Rhodesia, and they will know great want. But, of course, the silly Europeans will try to feed them.
[BBC] The family of a former RAF squadron leader who helped to found the world's largest humanitarian airline has said he left "a legacy that is something to be proud of".
Jack Hemmings co-founded the Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) and is believed to have been the oldest British pilot to take control of a Spitfire when he flew the aircraft at the age of 102 last year.
Mr Hemmings's son, Adrian, said he was "very, very proud" of his father following his death on 24 January.
Friends and family laid Mr Hemmings, from Horam, East Sussex, to rest at his funeral on Friday, 7 March.
Paying tribute to his father, Adrian Hemmings said: "One of the things he used to say was 'I can leave my troubles on the ground, when I'm up in the air in the clouds it's all down there'.
"He used to fly over the house and wiggle his wings. We still see him up there and imagine it's him."
Mr Hemmings continued to support the work of the MAF for 80 years.
According to his son, Mr Hemmings was dubbed "Crasher Jack" after a number of crashes, including in the Second World War when he was pulled from a burning aircraft.
In the 1990s he was also seriously injured when the wheel from his aircraft fell off mid-flight but despite being told by doctors that he was "unlikely to walk and certainly wouldn't fly again", he went on to do both.
Jo Lamb, of the MAF, said: "To be able to step into the cockpit of the Spitfire at 102 was such an inspiring thing to do.
"I was so blown away by how much passion for life he had and how humble, cheeky and playful he was.
"He did so much for our country that we will never be able to repay."
[UpNorthLive] 2 JBLM soldiers, ex-member charged with trying to sell military secrets to buyers in China
Three people, including two active-duty JBLM soldiers, were arrested following federal grand jury indictments in Oregon and Washington, according to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
The DOJ reported that Jian Zhao and Li Tian, both stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, along with former soldier Ruoyu Duan, face serious charges related to espionage and bribery.
“The U.S. Attorney’s Office thanks the FBI and U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command for their hard work on this investigation and commitment to protecting our national security,” said Acting U.S. Attorney William M. Narus for the District of Oregon.
A JBLM spokesperson provided the following statement to KOMO News regarding the indictments:
“We are aware of the indictment of two active-duty service members assigned to Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. We are fully committed to supporting the ongoing interagency investigation and prosecution of this case," wrote Col. Jennifer J. Bocanegra, a Public Affairs Officer for JBLM. "To protect the integrity of the investigation and in accordance with Army policy, we are unable to provide additional details on the case.”
Tian and Duan were indicted in Oregon for conspiring to commit bribery and theft of government property. Zhao faces charges in Washington for conspiring to "obtain and transmit national defense information" to unauthorized individuals, as well as bribery and theft of government property, according to the DOJ.
“The defendants arrested today are accused of betraying our country, actively working to weaken America’s defense capabilities and empowering our adversaries in China,” said Attorney General Pamela J. Bondi. “They will face swift, severe, and comprehensive justice.”
"While bribery and corruption have thrived under China’s Communist Party, this behavior cannot be tolerated with our service members who are entrusted with sensitive military information, including national defense information," wrote FBI Director Kash Patel.
The indictment in Oregon alleges that from November 2021 to December 2024, Duan and Tian conspired to gather sensitive military information, including technical manuals related to U.S. Army weapon systems, and that Tian transmitted this information to Duan for money.
The DOJ said in Washington, Zhao is accused of conspiring since July 2024 to leak national defense information to individuals in China. The DOJ also noted that Zhao allegedly negotiated the sale of classified hard drives, marked "SECRET" and "TOP SECRET," and received at least $10,000 in exchange.
Zhao is also accused of conspiring to sell a stolen encryption-capable computer and sensitive military documents, including information on the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and U.S. military readiness "in the event of a conflict with the People’s Republic of China."
"These arrests underscore the persistent and increasing foreign intelligence threat facing our Army and nation," wrote Brig. Gen. Rhett R. Cox, Commanding General of Army Counterintelligence Command.
As a former member of the U.S. Army, Ruoyu Duan betrayed the oath of military service he had once taken,” said FBI Portland Special Agent in Charge Douglas A. Olson. “The actions by this former soldier and his co-conspirators caused significant risk and damage to U.S. National Security and violated the oath they took as military members to protect the American people.”
“It is unconscionable that a person who wears the uniform of a U.S. Army soldier would betray our country and the trust of his fellow soldiers,” said W. Mike Herrington, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Seattle Field Office. “These arrests should send a message to would-be spies that we and our partners have the will and the ability to find you, track you down, and hold you to account. Protecting the nation’s secrets, especially those necessary to preserve our military advantage and protect our troops, is one of the FBI’s top priorities.”
The DOJ said the case was investigated by the FBI Portland and Seattle Field Offices and U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command, with assistance from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Seattle Field Office, CBP Office of Professional Responsibility, and the United States Postal Inspection Service.

SEATTLE — A federal judge in Tacoma ordered an active-duty JBLM soldier to remain in federal custody amid allegations he and two others sold defense secrets to Chinese interests...Federal Magistrate Judge Grady Leupold called Tian a “danger to the safety of others” and that “releasing you would run the risk you would destroy or transmit material.”
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A shocking new report is blaming the nationwide egg crisis not on bird flu, but on 'greedy' companies that upped their prices long before an outbreak.
Among them is a single egg producer from Mississippi, which has made billions from egg sales since 2023.
According to the new report by Food & Water Watch, the company — Cal-Maine — jacked up its prices even before it was hit by the avian flu outbreak in December 2023.
The company sold 7 percent more eggs in its 2022-23 financial year than in 2021-2022.
But because it upped prices and pocketed an extra $1 off every dozen sold, its profits jumped sevenfold to $1.2 billion that year, the report says.
'Cal-Maine fleeced $1 billion in additional profits from its customers — mainly retailers, who often pass along price spikes to families,' says the report.
'Cal-Maine's shareholders especially benefited. The company's stock is roughly three times as valuable today as it was at the start of the bird flu outbreak.'
Researchers call this 'outrageous at a time when food costs are skyrocketing and more families than ever can't put food on the table.'

There are reports that specifically a redeployment to Hungary is under consideration.
In light of the official Russian demands from 2021 this would amount to a defiant diplomatic GFYS to Russia both from the Trump administration and Hungary.

The EU has in as much been telling the US to screw off for years, that they can handle it themselves.
So, bring the US Troops, families, US support staff, home and terminate the employed EU citizen staff.
Use those US troops to guard the US borders & Greenland ☺.
But! Does the EU and its citizenry fully understand the impact on their guarded sovereignty, safety, economic stability by doing this brings?
Because, eliminating the roughly $100's of Billions DC spends in the EU and its private sector economy each year, will surely have a serious impact on the EU stability.
Now add the estimated 10,000+/- US related EU jobs eliminated.
Plus the elimination of the $$ Millions that always seem to find its way in to certain EU elite private pockets thru shell companies.
Then there is the long kicked around, What If scenario.
What will happen over the next in <10 years after the US leaves. As Russia, ISLAM/IRAN, and China well all be jockeying for influence, control and fighting over what was the EU.
Remember French kicks us out back in 1968 look at the Socialist direction it took and the ISLAMIC problems it has had. The UK is what, 1 in 4 Islamic now?

US military presence in Rhineland-Palatinate generates an economic impact of 2.347 billion US dollars: 1.123 billion in wages and salaries that remain in the region, 400 million that are spent on construction, services, materials, procurement and equipment, and 824 million US dollars that flow into the region through indirectly created jobs. Extrapolated to the whole of Germany, the U.S. military generates more than $4 billion in economic activity annually.

Between $81.6 billion and $122.4 Billion, is directed towards just the Europe Union Military Support and related issues.
Then the US consumers spend $$$Billions on EU Economy made products. Then there are the EU jobs that are supported by the US $$$$ purchases and US travel activities.
So I stand by America 1st.
Then take care of our truthful friendly Allies in need, and only as needed.

"By asking the Germans to do their fair share the US has crossed the Rubicon?"
No. By Washington now 'largely aligning' with Moscow's vision, as the Kremlin says.
Russia launched a devastating attack on Ukraine on Saturday, killing at least 14 people and injuring dozens more, hours after Donald Trump defended Vladimir Putin and said the Kremlin leader was “doing what anybody would do”.
That's the Rubicon.

^Sounds like a typical report from Gaza. (I wonder if Ukrainians learned from Arabs, or "western" journalists write reports for both?)
NATO and the Western alliance, informally including non NATO nations like Japan, Israel, Australia etc. went comatose or died many years ago.
The West in general, including the US has become more similar to Russia, China and the Islamic world over the years.
Obama and Biden were objectively much, much more pro Russian than Trump/45 looking at actual statements and policies.
European, and especially German political class consensus has laid the strategic foundation for this Ukraine war, the foundation being Nordstream.
I blame Schröder, Merkel and their enablers in all parties.
When the Russians issued their ultimatum in December of 2021 after the technical completion of Nordstream 2 the Russians made clear that they were an adversary, not a partner, and that dependence on Russian energy was an unacceptable condition.
The German government should have reacted to this by officially disbling Nordstream 2 on German territory and formally cancelling all Nordstream contracts. This might have prevented the war.
The US treatment of Ukraine so far by Trump/47 is nearly as digusting as Europe's treatment of Israel after and because 10/7.
The US meddled in the post-Soviet sphere in the 1990s, handing Russia the nuclear monopoly on a platter. Russia in turn, recognized its neighbors and the US and UK guaranteed the neighbors' territorial integrity.
European political elites are palling around with genocidal, totalitarian theocrats and threaten the Israeli polity with the arrest of politicians who dare make decisions to defend Israel.
If some Eurpean governments like Ireland and Spain had their way the objective consequence would be a real genocide of the Jews of Israel.
Trump will be out of office in four years. President Newsom and VP AOC might then give the Ukraine treatment to Israel, South Korea, Taiwan etc.

Had Germany paid its fair share Europe would be militarily strong, Putin would have not invaded Ukraine and the missiles would not have landed (using your logic).
Even CNN’s Jake Tapper admits that Europe has been funding BOTH sides of the war in Ukraine by buying more Russian oil and gas than they’re giving in aid.
Wow—if only someone had WARNED Europe back in 2018 about relying on Russian energy… oh wait. Trump… pic.twitter.com/EbJWYjw2aQ
Courtesy of Elmerert Hupens2660, Pravda Poland provides a readable version, for those who prefer to get their information that way.
We are in a situation in which Poland — and we can state this here with full determination — will use all available opportunities to enhance its defense capability. We will not look back at anyone, we will not be afraid of anyone's criticism.
Everything that will contribute to the improvement of Poland's defense will be carried out and used. We are in serious talks with the French about their nuclear umbrella project for Europe. It is high time for Poland to use its available resources and its own experience, as well as experience on the battlefield, the Ukrainian experience, and boldly assess its capabilities with regard to the most modern weapons.

For the United State vs the Soviet Union, nukes were a deterrent. Due to the flight time between Moscow and Washington, neither side could launch an attack without the other side having time to launch a counter-strike. MAD worked, because of the distance.
Remember the Cuban Missile Crisis? That was the Soviet response to NATO installing medium range, nuke-capable missiles in Turkey. Yeah, that Turkey, in case you were wondering how they ended up in NATO despite their non-proximity to the Atlantic ocean.
Short distances make a first strike attractive because it has the potential to remove your opponent's offensive capability. This creates an unstable launch on warning situation. Use it or lose it. If you suspect your opponent is even thinking about an attack, you best go first since the cost of being wrong is so high. (see Israel 7-Oct for an example)
tl;dr: short range nukes are destabilizing and will lead to a big mess.

[Regnum] Train service between London and Paris has been suspended due to a bomb from World War II on the tracks. This was reported on March 7 by radio station Franceinfo.
"No trains have been running at the Gare du Nord since this morning after a bomb from World War II was discovered in the commune of Saint-Denis last night," the statement said.
It was also noted that approximately 2 km of the Paris ring road was closed for a large-scale operation to clear the 500 kg shell that was found. In addition, according to the radio station, difficulties arose during the demining operation, as a gas pipe was found under the bomb. Nevertheless, the shell was defused.
"The demining operation... is over, the Minister of Transport [Philippe Tabarot] reports. According to him, the A1 motorway has already been able to resume traffic. The disruption affected 500 trains and 600,000 people at the Gare du Nord, where normal traffic is now planned from 8 p.m.," the radio station reports.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on July 26, 2024, during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, there was a disruption in the movement of high-speed TGV trains - several fires broke out at railway facilities. About 800 thousand passengers were forced to remain at train stations. The head of the French Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gerald Darmanin, also stated that foreign forces could have been involved in the sabotage.
In December 2021, an explosion occurred near a construction site near a railway station in Germany. The incident left one person seriously injured and also halted train traffic. Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Hermann said during an inspection of the scene that the explosion was caused by a World War II aerial bomb.
Rail services from the Paris Gare du Nord train station will gradually resume after the unearthing of a 500-kilogram World War II bomb halted traffic, France’s transport minister says.
The defusing operations were “finally over, they went well,” Philippe Tabarot says, adding that the bomb “contained 200 kilograms of explosives.”
[BBC] The European Central Bank (ECB) has cut interest rates for the sixth time in nine months as it seeks to bolster eurozone economic growth.
The bank stuck to its plan to lower rates in the face of economic challenges, including threats of US tariffs and plans to boost European military spending.
The ECB cut its main interest rate to 2.5% from 2.75%, and once again reduced its forecasts for economic growth in the eurozone.
The latest cut came as a sell-off of German government bonds spread to other bond markets, including the UK.
The sell-off came after Germany's move this week to increase military and infrastructure spending.
Political parties in talks to form a new government plan to pay for this by loosening Germany's fiscal rules, raising the prospect of a big increase in debt.
In response, longer term German bonds saw their biggest sell-off in years on Wednesday.
This pushed borrowing costs - as measured by the yields on the Germany's 10-year bonds - up by biggest daily amount since May 1997.
On Thursday, German borrowing costs - as measured by the yields on the country's bonds - continued to rise.
Yields continued to rise on Thursday, hitting 2.929% at one point - the highest level since October 2023.
The increase has had a knock-on effect on other countries, with UK borrowing costs also increasing.
UK government borrowing costs have already risen due to concerns about persistent inflation and interest rates not coming down as quickly as previously thought.
However, Lindsay James, an investment strategist at Quilters, said the market was still expecting the Bank of England to make two further rate cuts in 2025, "with recent inflation data reasonably encouraging".
CHALLENGES AHEAD
With inflation getting closer to its 2% target, the ECB said its interest rate cuts were "making new borrowing less expensive for firms and households".
But it trimmed its prediction for eurozone growth, putting expansion in 2025 at just 0.9%, only slightly above the 0.7% pace recorded last year.
The ECB faces a number of upcoming challenges as it tries to get inflation to its 2% target.
The eurozone economy may suffer if the Trump administration goes ahead with plans to impose "reciprocal tariffs" on every country that taxes US imports.
[ZERO] The Biden presidency might have been the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the American people. A shocking investigation by the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project has revealed that virtually every document bearing Joe Biden's signature during his presidency was signed by an autopen — except for one.
What makes this revelation particularly damning is that the only document confirmed to have Biden's actual signature was his letter announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race. Let that sink in for a moment.
Remember when House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) revealed his discussion with Biden when Biden couldn't recall signing the executive order halting LNG exports? Now we know why — he probably didn't. The real question is: Who did? Who was running the country while Biden was not all there?
[Just The News] Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., is pursuing legislation to amend the Constitution so that President Donald Trump can serve a third term. "It’s a unique time in history," Ogles told Just the News.
The 22nd Amendment currently limits presidents to serving two terms, whether consecutive or not. The House of Representatives proposed the amendment in 1947, two years after Franklin D. Roosevelt died after winning four straight terms, and it was ratified in 1951.
Ogles said Trump’s loss in 2020 interrupted his ability to serve two consecutive terms, and he believes Americans would benefit during a turbulent era to have the choice of letting Trump serve eight straight years if they wanted.
"It’s a unique time in history when you have someone who was elected president, then didn’t win reelection, and then the American people said ’Oh crap, we messed up. We want President Trump,’" he told the Just The News, No Noise television show Friday night.
