[ToniAiraksinen] “I would refuse to treat you. I’m not a vet. I don’t treat dogs”
The nurse who infamously said she’d refuse to treat Jews and called them "vermin" and "rats" is now under investigation by both the university hospital where she works as a nurse and the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
As I reported last week — Camesha Hart is a nurse at Oregon Health And Science University Hospital (OSHU)— and she was caught writing a number of antisemitic comments on Instagram calling Jews and Israelis "rats" and "vermin".
Camesha also wrote on Instagram that "I would refuse to treat you" to multiple Jews in a comments section.
Further, she also wished death on Israelis, likely due to her infatuation with the idea of "liberating Paleostine."
"May they all [Israelis/Jews] meet their ancestors soon!" she wrote on an Instagram post, under the handle "hartgirl.pdx." Since then, her Instagram account has been shut down, and it appears all her other social media accounts have been wiped.
WHO IS CAMESHA HART ACCOUNTABLE TO?
I spoke to an OHSU professional who was not authorized to speak publicly. She said that the hospital truly cares about Jewish people and that they are investigating Hart. She says hundreds of people have been flooding the hospital with emails expressing their anger, rage and disgust over this incident.
"I am limited in what I can say publicly, but I'm a [redacted] at this hospital [redacted] and trust me — we have rallied any and all resources we can to escalate this, and we have confirmation from the hospital that they are taking this very, very, very seriously.
OHSU replied to my inquiry about Camesha Hart with the following statement.
"Hate speech, harassment, racism and discrimination are wholly unacceptable and have no place at Oregon Health & Science University. We are actively investigating reports of an employee making antisemitic comments on social media through our internal investigatory processes."
Additionally, since Hart’s statements may violate the State Nursing Code or the Florence Nightingale Pledge (similar the Hippocratic Oath, but for nurses), dozens if not hundreds of angry Americans have sent the Oregon Board of Nursing complaints about Hart.
On Wednesday morning, Barbara Holtry of the OSBN said that all investigations are confidential.
"There is no way to predict the length of any investigation or when a case might be brought to the board for action. It all depends on the complexity of a case and how long it may take to gather the necessary information. I can tell you that, in general, investigations may take several months," said Holtry.
Today, someone affiliated with the nursing board said they couldn’t comment publicly. But they did explain that the board is in the process of investigating, which may result in some type of punishment or Hart’s nursing license being revoked.
At this moment, it’s unclear if Camesha Hart is still working at the hospital. Some sources at the hospital say they haven’t seen her show up to work, while others claim she’s been spotted still working since the hospital opened their investigation. Neither Hart nor the hospital have confirmed or denied this.
Camesha Hart is also listed on a "Who’s Who’s" list of nurses at Portland Community College (PCC), where she may teach classes. But PCC spokesperson James Hill said Wednesday afternoon her employment there ended in 2018.
COMMUNITY RESPONSE: PHYSICIANS AGAINST ANTISEMITISM
After Physicians Against Antisemitism (PAA) brought Camesha Hart’s comments to light, Camesha took to GoFundMe to try to raise money for a lawyer.
The total raised stands at 220$ for her legal fund, and in it, Hart asserts that she’s not antisemitic. But oddly enough, after claiming she was not antisemitic, she posted comments illustrating that she said she wouldn’t treat Jews. Whether that was an intentional dog whistle to her friends in Hamas ..always the voice of sweet reason... , or an accidental faux-pas is unclear.
In broken English, she pleaded to her GoFundMe supporters:
"i am being bullied online by antisemitic groups bc I do not support the GENOCIDE!
Now my nursing job is being threatened by them.
It is also an online smear campaign called DOXXING.
So I am hiring a Torts ATTORNEY to defend myself!
I DO NOT support antisemitism!
I DO support humanity and not killing others, especially families!
Would you PLEASE support me in this activism?
Please help me fight the online bullies!
Thank you so much!"
In an interview with the PAA, their spokesperson speculated that it’s likely that OSHU will fire Hart, but that the nursing board itself wouldn’t eventually revoke her license. Rather, the nursing board would possibly give Hart something like remediation training, such as anti-racism classes or inclusivity training.
Both her employment at OSHU, and her nursing license itself, are at risk.
"The only overlap would be if Hart lost her nursing license, then she would definitely have to stop working as a nurse and lose her job as a result," PAA said.
CAMESHA HART DOUBLES DOWN
After Hart was called out for her antisemitism, she promptly responded on Instagram.
"This is me," she wrote, "showing up for all the Paleostine haters flooding my account. Bring it on [clown emojis]. Because the world sees THE UGLY TRUTH! And no matter what, Paleostine will be free!
Regarding Shiri Bibas — the Jewish mother who was returned in a body bag by Hamas after her two children were killed by Paleostinians — Camesha later claimed that Shiri deserved her death.
"She was fair game as a military personnel (sic). And Hamas let her take her children [Kfir and Ariel, who are dead now] out of pity and kindness. Israel are the ones (sic) who sent this family home in boxes. And they should be thankful they weren’t returned in blue body bags and zip ties!!"
The Oregon Health & Science University Hospital (OSHU) answers to OSBN Healthcare system.
So, given the serious unprofessional comments made and posted for worldwide attention. It is clear a violation of the Orgean Nursing Code
has been made and MUST be addressed. see: Oregon Nurse Practice Act, sections 21 to 49.
OSHU must address this violation, even in a cover-up slap on the wrist mode, or otherwise, it could lose its accreditation.
But then again this is a Far Left Liberal Democrat run state.
BTW: The OSBN linked website, does list a Feb. 19th 2025 Board holding an Executive Session for disciplinary proceedings, as authorized by the OSBN code. That disciplinary session is available on Youtube (click meetings tab and dig.) It is 6+hrs long, so I did not waste my time.
[ToloNews] The closure of the Torkham crossing for the past twelve days has created serious challenges for travelers and traders, while Afghan and Pak officials continue their efforts to find a solution.
Torkham, one of the most important crossings between Afghanistan and Pakistain, handles the largest volume of trade and movement between the two countries. This situation has inflicted millions of dollars in losses on traders.
Khanjan Alokozay, the head of the Afghanistan-Pakistain Joint Chamber of Commerce, stated: "Around 800 trucks pass through both sides daily; today marks the twelfth day, meaning more than six thousand trucks have been halted. We hold conferences and video calls through the joint chamber, and we are in discussions with them. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. officials are also making efforts, but so far, these efforts have yielded no results."
Local officials in Nangarhar and the Afghan Chamber of Commerce have held multiple meetings with Pak authorities to reopen the crossing, but no progress has been made, and border festivities continue.
Zalmay Khalilzad, the former US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation, stated on X that the tensions between Afghan and Pak forces at Torkham should be resolved through diplomatic means.
Khalilzad wrote: "People are dying, and others are becoming refugees. Traders on both sides are losing millions of dollars. Each is accusing the other of sheltering bully boy groups inimical to them. Diplomacy is a better option."
Some political analysts believe that keeping border crossings closed is not a suitable solution and that Pakistain should send a delegation to Afghanistan for high-level negotiations.
"I urge the government to engage with Pakistain based on our national interests and the legitimate demands of our people—not for the benefit of a single group, ethnicity, or region," said Yousuf Amin Zazi, a political analyst.
"The Pak government has historically used the Torkham border to pressure the Islamic Emirate and the Afghan people, and it continues to do so. As a result, people in Afghanistan, Pakistain, and Central Asia are suffering widespread losses," said Fazl Rahman Oria, another political analyst.
In recent years, relations between Kabul and Islamabad have deteriorated, exacerbated by the expulsion of Afghan refugees from Pakistain and Pak attacks on Afghan soil.
[ShabelleMedia] Somalia’s Finance Minister has announced that the United States has suspended its financial support for the Danab commandos, a key force in the fight against al-Shabaab ... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... In a speech delivered to the Somali Parliament today, Minister Bihi Egeh stated that this decision will have a negative impact on the country’s financial situation. He also warned that the suspension of this support could worsen Somalia’s existing financial challenges.
Egeh emphasized the critical importance of finding alternative sources of support to continue the fight against al-Shabaab and maintain national security.
The suspension of U.S. support comes at a time when Somalia urgently needs to strengthen efforts against both al-Shabaab and ISIS. The financial strain could further exacerbate the country’s difficulties if alternative solutions are not found.
Somalia remains in a challenging financial situation, and cooperation along with comprehensive solutions are needed to reinforce both the nation’s security and economic stability.
[ShabelleMedia] Ottoman Turkish Airlines announced on Tuesday that it has halted its flight operations to Mogadishu following a security alert from the U.S. Embassy in the Somali capital.
The embassy warned of unspecified security risks in Somalia, prompting Ottoman Turkish Airlines to suspend its international flights connecting Mogadishu to Europe. The move disrupts a vital air link for the country, which has struggled with instability for decades.
The airline informed the public that the suspension would take effect from March 5 to March 12, covering seven days. No additional information was provided on whether the suspension might be extended beyond that timeframe.
Specific reasons for the security warning remain undisclosed, leaving travelers and residents with limited clarity on the threat. The airline and Somali officials have urged passengers to stay informed about the latest security updates and flight schedules as developments unfold.
The Somali Civil Aviation Authority has not yet commented on how the U.S. alert, issued today, has affected operations at Aden Adde International Airport. The airport is a cornerstone of Somalia’s economy, ranking as the government’s second-largest revenue source.
The flight suspension highlights ongoing concerns over safety in Somalia, where murderous Moslem groups like al-Shabaab ... an Islamic infestation centering on Somalia attempting to metastasize into Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and similar places, all ofwhich have enough problems without them... frequently target civilian and government infrastructure.
Neither Ottoman Turkish Airlines nor local authorities have indicated when more details about the situation might be released as many passengers are awaiting their flights to depart.
[ShabelleMedia] The U.S. Embassy in Somalia issued a security alert for American citizens, reminding them of ongoing risks in the country despite the lifting of restrictions for official U.S. Embassy travelers at Aden Adde International Airport.
The U.S. Department of State’s Level 4 travel advisory for Somalia — urging Americans to “Do Not Travel” — remains in effect due to significant threats from crime, terrorism, civil unrest, health hazards, kidnapping, and piracy.
The embassy warns that terrorists continue to target Western interests in Somalia, with potential attacks on airports, seaports, checkpoints, government buildings, hotels, restaurants, shopping areas, and other crowded locations. These attacks may occur with little or no warning and could include car bombs, suicide bombings, individual attackers, or mortar fire.
“The risk of kidnapping, bombings, and other attacks remains high,” the embassy said in the advisory, urging U.S. citizens to remain vigilant.
The U.S. government has limited capacity to provide emergency assistance to American citizens in Somalia due to the absence of a permanent consular presence in the country.
U.S. citizens are also reminded to sign up for the new STEP (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program) platform to continue receiving important updates from the embassy.

[IsraelTimes] Treasury announces sanctions against 7 leaders of Iran-backed Yemeni group in bid to cut off funds, stifle weapons supply
US President Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... ’s administration sanctioned seven Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him... leaders and an individual who sent Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... i civilians to fight for Russia in Ukraine on Wednesday, just a day after re-declaring the group a foreign terrorist organization.
The seven sanctioned leaders "smuggled military-grade items and weapon systems into Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen" and negotiated arms deals with Russia on behalf of the Iran-backed group, according to a statement from the US Treasury Department.
Since November 2023, the Houthis have carried out more than 100 attacks on ships off Yemen in support of Paleostinian gunnies fighting Israel, disrupting global shipping.
Throughout the war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... , the group repeatedly fired ballistic missiles and drones at Israel. While most were intercepted, the missile attacks caused extensive damage to buildings — including destroying an empty school building at nighttime — and on one occasion killed a man in Tel Aviv.
Among those sanctioned was Mohammed Abdulsalam, the Houthis’ "Oman-based front man," whom the Treasury Department said had played "a key role" in managing the group’s internal and external financing network.
The Treasury Department also sanctioned Mahdi Mohammed Hussein al-Mashat, whom it named as the chairman of the Houthi-aligned Supreme Political Council.
"By seeking weapons from a growing array of international suppliers, Houthi leaders have shown their intent to continue their reckless and destabilizing actions in the Red Sea region," said US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
"The US government is committed to holding the Houthis accountable for acquiring weapons and weapons components from suppliers in Russia, China, and Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... to threaten Red Sea security," State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said in a separate statement.
The Treasury Department named the individual accused of procuring Yemeni civilians to fight for Russia in Ukraine as Abdulwali Abdoh Hasan al-Jabri, and accused the Houthi affiliate of fundraising for the group.
Through a private company, al-Jabri "facilitated the transfer of Yemeni civilians to Russian military units fighting in Ukraine in exchange for cash," the Treasury Department said.
On Tuesday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio ...The diminutive 13-year-old Republican U.S. Senator from Florida, Secretary of State in the second Trump administration... announced the department had restored the "foreign terrorist organization" designation, which carries with it sanctions and penalties for anyone providing "material support" for the group.
In its waning days, Trump’s first Republican administration designated the Houthis a foreign terrorist organization, but the label was revoked by successor Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body.... over concerns it would stifle aid to Yemen, which was considered to be facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. After the Israel-Hamas ..always the voice of sweet reason... war broke out, Biden imposed the lesser designation of the Houthis as a "specially designated global terrorist."
Besides the "foreign terrorist organization" announcement, the State Department’s Rewards for Justice program announced that it would pay up to $15 million for information that leads to the disruption of Houthi financing.

[KhaamaPress] Germany has transferred 132 Afghan refugees from Pakistain to the country, according to reports. This marks a significant move in the ongoing refugee crisis and Germany’s role in resettling displaced people.
The flight carrying these refugees landed at Berlin Airport on Wednesday morning, March 5. The refugees included a local German employee and his five family members, alongside others accepted under Germany’s Afghan resettlement programs.
Reports indicate that the remaining individuals were part of different programs run by Germany to assist Afghan refugees. These efforts are part of Germany’s broader humanitarian response to the situation in Afghanistan.
However,
those who apply themselves too closely to little things often become incapable of great things... 25 individuals were not able to board the flight due to issues with their documentation. This has raised concerns over the thoroughness of the vetting process for refugees entering Germany.
It’s important to note that just last week, another charter flight brought 155 Afghan refugees from Pakistain to Berlin. This is part of an ongoing effort to resettle Afghans displaced by the ongoing conflict and political instability in their country.
In recent developments, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and Christian Social Union (CSU), the leading parties in Germany’s recent elections, have called on the Foreign Ministry to halt further flights of Afghan citizens until a new government is formed.
The ongoing debate over Afghan refugees continues in Germany, with political parties divided over the issue. While there is support for humanitarian efforts, the process of resettling refugees remains a contentious topic, particularly as the political landscape shifts.
[IsraelTimes] Hans Wechsel, who heads the US Embassy in Jerusalem’s Office for Palestinian Affairs, informed staff on Tuesday that he would be resigning from his post at the end of the month, a US official says, confirming a report in Jewish Insider.
Wechsel told staff that he “didn’t like the direction the ship was heading,” JI reported.
Wechsel is a career diplomat who only arrived in Jerusalem in August of last year.
A Biden administration appointee disapproves of the Trump direction? Quelle surprise! Still, points to the gentleman for honesty, instead of burrowing in and trying to undermine later.
The Trump administration created the Office for Palestinian Affairs, folding it into the embassy after shuttering the US Consulate in Jerusalem — an independent mission serving the Palestinians. The move was widely seen as a downgrade of US-Palestinian ties.
While former US president Joe Biden campaigned on reopening the consulate, Israel blocked the move, and he sufficed to again separate the diplomatic reporting channels between the embassy and the US office for Palestinian Affairs.

[KhaamaPress] Pakistain is expected to cooperate with the U.S. in efforts to retrieve weapons from the Taliban ...Arabic for students... , as discussed in a recent conversation between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
The Pak Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a telephone conversation took place between Pakistain’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, and U.S. National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz. During the call, both sides discussed the retrieval of U.S. weapons from the Taliban. This dialogue highlights the ongoing concern over the presence of American military equipment in Afghanistan.
According to the Pak Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the phone call took place on Tuesday, March 4. The ministry’s statement emphasized that U.S. officials expressed appreciation for Pakistain’s efforts in combating terrorism. The conversation underlined the ongoing cooperation between the two countries on counterterrorism matters.
Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistain’s desire to strengthen relations with Washington. He emphasized that Pakistain is committed to continued cooperation with the United States in the fight against terrorism, further solidifying the bilateral partnership.
In response to comments made by U.S. President Donald Trump ...The Hero of Butler, Pennsylvania... , Ishaq Dar welcomed the President’s position on the retrieval of remaining U.S. military equipment in Afghanistan. The Pak leadership has repeatedly expressed concerns about the potential use of these weapons for attacks against Pakistain.
The conversation between high-ranking U.S. and Pak officials took place after Donald Trump had previously announced that the criminal mastermind behind the deadly Kabul airport attack had been captured with Pakistain’s cooperation. The U.S. President also expressed gratitude to Pakistain for its assistance in this operation.
Mujahid, a spokesperson for the Taliban, made a statement suggesting that Pakistain’s actions could bolster the argument that the country harbors terrorist organizations like ISIS. He criticized Pakistain for its role in handing over key figures involved in major terrorist operations, questioning the motivations behind their cooperation with the United States.
The handover has raised concerns about Pakistain’s role in regional security dynamics. While some see it as a positive step in counterterrorism efforts, others view it as evidence that Pakistain might be indirectly fostering an environment that allows holy warrior groups like ISIS to operate. This development has added further complexity to the already fragile geopolitical situation in South Asia.
[KhaamaPress] Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban ...Arabic for students... , reacted to statements by Pak Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and U.S. President Donald Trump ...The cad! Twice caught beating wimmin!... regarding the arrest of the criminal mastermind behind the 2021 Kabul airport attack. He claimed that the arrest in Pakistain highlighted the existence of ISIS safe havens in the country.
In an audio message on Wednesday, March 5, Mujahid stated, "The attack at that time was carried out by ISIS. The fact that ISIS operatives are arrested in Pakistain means they have found refuge there and set up their bases. This issue does not concern Afghanistan; these dangerous groups have found shelter and training camps in certain countries."
Previously, Prime Minister Sharif had claimed that the criminal mastermind behind the Kabul airport attack, who was arrested by Pak forces, was a member of ISIS-Khorasan and an Afghan citizen.
U.S. President Donald Trump also confirmed in a speech to Congress that the criminal mastermind behind the Kabul attack was arrested in cooperation with Pakistain and was being transferred to the United States. This attack is considered one of the bloodiest during the final stages of the U.S. military presence in Afghanistan.
The Kabul airport bombing, which took place during the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members. ISIS grabbed credit for the attack, stating that an individual named "Abdul Rahman Pashtun-infested Logari" managed to bypass security measures and carried out the suicide kaboom near U.S. forces.
The statements by Mujahid highlight the ongoing issue of ISIS activities in the region and the shifting dynamics of terrorist groups operating between Afghanistan and Pakistain. The arrest of the criminal mastermind raises further questions about the extent of ISIS’s presence and operational bases in Pakistain, complicating regional security efforts.

[IsraelTimes] Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani says he will take part in a meeting today of the international chemical weapons watchdog in the Netherlands, nearly three months after Bashar al-Assad’s ouster.
“Today, for the first time in Syria’s history, I am attending the executive council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague,” Shaibani says in a statement on X, adding that “this participation reaffirms Syria’s commitment to international security and honors those who lost their lives suffocating at the hands of the Assad regime.”
[Garowe] Al-Shabaab's sanctions have been extended by the United Nations Security Council, with special focus on illegal arms imports and charcoal exports, as members raised concerns over vessels behind the transportation of the outlawed weapons.
The sanctions shall run until December 2025, the Council said, while renewing the mandate of the Panel of Experts assisting the Al-Shabaab sanctions regime until 13 January 2026. The resolution 2776 of 2025 was unanimous, the UN reports.
The 15-member Council decided that “all States shall, to prevent Al-Shabaab and other actors intent on undermining peace and security in Somalia and the region from obtaining weapons and ammunition, take the necessary measures to prevent all deliveries of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment to Somalia.”
The measures, the council adds, shall not affect the delivery or supplies to the federal government of Somalia, whose arms embargo was lifted a few months ago. Also not affected are deliveries and supplies to the National Intelligence and Security Agency along with the Somali National Police Force and the Somali Custodial Corps.
The adopted resolution also recognizes the particular concern posed by the flow of weapons from Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. Other speakers also expressed concern for the flow of arms from Yemen to Somalia, with La Belle France saying the movement violates the relevant arms embargo. "It is vital to prevent al-Shabaab from establishing and exploiting ties with groups under sanctions in the region — including the Houthis," the French representative stressed.
The US expressed concerns over the growing ties between al-Shabaab and Yemeni Houthis. The representative called for dialogue between the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula to arrest the matter before it got out of hand.
"We urge our fellow Council members to support additional designations, including those of al-Shabaab operatives," the representative from the US said.
However,
facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable... the representative of the Russian Federation countered that "the Yemen issue needs to be considered separately".

[IsraelTimes] Following US pressure, Iraqi security official says government is trying ‘discreetly’ to locate Elizabeth Tsurkov, believed to have been held by terrorists since 2023
Iraq’s national security adviser said Wednesday that authorities were actively searching for Elizabeth Tsurkov,
…one of those far left fools who believe their good intentions will protect them when they walk neck-deep in evil, she is believed to be held by Kataeb Hezbollah, though no one ever claimed credit for snatching her. She was in the process of arranging an interview with a Kataeb Hezbollah big turban when she disappeared, just the kind of thing to make a suspicious mind feel suspicious…
an Israeli-Russian academic kidnapped nearly two years ago in Baghdad.
Tsurkov, a doctoral student at Princeton University and fellow at the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, is believed to have been held by Islamist Death Eaters since March 2023.
National Security Adviser Qassem al-Araji told AFP that "Iraqi authorities are working under the prime minister’s direction" to solve the issue.
Israeli authorities have blamed the Iran-backed Iraqi terror group Kataeb Hezbollah, though no group has yet grabbed credit for her disappearance.
"The security services are mobilized to locate her and find the group that kidnapped her," al-Araji said, adding there had been no claims of responsibility for her abduction or demands for her release. "We have to operate discreetly and through intermediates" to locate her, he added.
Al-Araji’s statement comes in the wake of public demands on the matter by US President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons... ’s hostage envoy Adam Boehler, who warned the Iraqi prime minister in February that the latter would be deemed complicit if Tsurkov was not immediately released.
"Elizabeth Tsurkov is a Princeton student held hostage in Iraq!" Adam Boehler tweeted, adding that Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... i "consistently made false promises to the prior administration about releasing her."
"BUT NOW [US President Donald Trump] IS ON TO YOU!" he added, warning that if Tsurkov "does not come home NOW then [Sudani] is either incapable and should be FIRED or worse COMPLICIT."
Tsurkov, who had likely entered Iraq on her Russian passport, had traveled to the country as part of her doctoral studies after previously traveling to the country and other Arab countries in the region.
In November 2023, Iraqi channel Al Rabiaa TV aired the first hostage video of Tsurkov known to the public since her kidnapping.
In the video, Tsurkov mentioned the war between Israel and Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... in the Gazoo

Ministry spokesperson Ali Abbas told Rudaw that repatriations from the notorious camp have been suspended for the next four to six months.
He said that the process will resume once the rehabilitation program for returnees, carried out in al-Jada camp in Iraq’s northern Nineveh province, is completed, adding that 3,500 nationals are currently in the rehabilitation process.
According to the latest statistics from the ministry, more than 20,000 Iraqis, including women and kiddies, remain in al-Hol camp. Baghdad had set 2027 as the deadline to finish returning all its nationals from the camp.
Iraqis and Syrians make up the majority of the 40,000 ISIS-linked people being held at the camp, which has been branded a breeding ground for terrorism.
The repatriation of ISIS-linked citizens has sparked opposition in Iraq. Some tribes and communities are unwilling to accept people associated with the group that committed heinous human rights ...which often include carefully measured allowances of freedom at the convenience of the state... abuses and war crimes from 2014 to 2017, when they controlled vast swathes of the country.
Others argue that reintegration should be considered for families of ISIS members, especially those who were not directly involved in severe crimes.

[IsraelTimes] US President Donald Trump issues a new ultimatum to Hamas to immediately release all remaining hostages or be destroyed.
“‘Shalom Hamas’ means Hello and Goodbye – You can choose,” Trump writes on Truth Social.
“Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you,” he says.
“Only sick and twisted people keep bodies, and you are sick and twisted!”
“I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say,” he warns.
“I have just met with your former hostages whose lives you have destroyed.”
“This is your last warning! For the leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza, while you still have a chance,” Trump says.
“Also, to the People of Gaza: A beautiful Future awaits, but not if you hold Hostages. If you do, you are DEAD! Make a SMART decision. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW, OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY LATER.”

[IsrealeTimes] The Trump administration is holding direct talks with Hamas aimed at securing the release of American hostages held in Gaza as well as a broader deal to end the war, Axios reports, citing two sources with direct knowledge of those negotiations.
A source familiar with the matter confirmed the report to The Times of Israel.
The secret talks being held by Trump’s hostage envoy Adam Boehler are unprecedented, as the US has never before engaged directly with Hamas, which Washington designated as a terror group in 1997.
The talks have been taking place in Doha in recent weeks, Axios says, adding that no deal has been reached.
In January, senior Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzouq said publicly that the terror group is prepared to open a dialogue with the Trump administration.
While the US consulted with Israel about the possibility of engaging in talks with Hamas, Israel only learned about specific aspects through other channels, Axios says.
There is one remaining American hostage in Gaza who is believed to still be alive, Edan Alexander. Hamas is also holding the bodies of American-Israeli hostages Itay Chen, Gad Haggai, Judi Weinstein and Omer Neutra.
The Trump administration’s Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff was planning to meet with Qatar’s prime minister in Doha Thursday, but has held off on doing due to the lack of progress in the hostage talks more broadly, the source confirmed to The Times of Israel.
"The greatest pleasure is to vanquish your enemies and chase them before you, to rob them of their wealth and see those dear to them bathed in tears, to ride their horses and clasp to your bosom their wives and daughters. --Genghis Khan."
That is certainly true. But Trump does not strike me as naive. An empty threat does not sound like a way to move the negotiations along to a deal. I do not know where he is going with this, but I bet it will be fun to watch.
[IsraelTimes] Foreign Minister Sa’ar speaks with his British counterpart about the impasse in Israel’s ceasefire with Hamas and the reasoning behind Israel’s recent decision to block trucks carrying humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Sa’ar writes on X that he told UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy during their call that “during the 42-day phase one, 25,000 aid trucks entered Gaza – half of Hamas’s budget in Gaza comes from these trucks! Hamas is restoring its military capabilities and recruiting new, young terrorists. This cannot continue!”
Sa’ar says he stressed to Lammy that Hamas rejected a proposal from US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to extend the temporary ceasefire through Ramadan and Passover on condition that Hamas release more hostages.
[IsraelTimes] Islamist party head, who was the first Arab party leader to join an Israeli ruling coalition, says it’s ‘better to come and try, [then] give an opportunity’ to others
Mansour Abbas,
...political head of the political arm of the Southern Branch of the Islamic Movement, the Muslim Brotherhood in Israel. Like Muslim Brotherhood parties elsewhere, they will ride the train down the iron rails of democratic politics and charity until the train reaches their station at the formation of the Caliphate, avoiding as much as possible all that messy bloodshed until afterward. It’s also important to check his public statements against what he says in private in Arabic, just in case taqqiya is involved...
the head of the Islamist Ra’am party who in 2021 became the first Arab Israeli party chief to join a ruling coalition, said Wednesday that he would likely run in the next Knesset elections but then quit national politics.
"Better to serve, to come and try to do things, and [then] to give an opportunity [for someone else]," he told the Knesset Channel,
The politician said that when he was first elected to the parliament, "I came in with an agenda," noting that it "evolved" over time.
"I came in with an agenda to deal with crime and violence in Arab society; it evolved into an agenda of influence and values-based civic partnership, and today you can add to that [the goal of] achieving peace and an end to the [Israeli-Paleostinian] conflict, etc.
"I have one more chance, and I’ll run — probably — in the next elections, and try to take action to realize the goals I’ve set out for myself in the coming term, and then, I don’t think I should continue to be a Knesset member," he said.
Israel is next set to hold elections in October 2026, though they could occur before then if the government collapses.
Abbas’s Islamist Ra’am party made a landmark, controversial move to join a ruling Israeli coalition — the 2021-2022 Naftali Bennett-Yair Lapid government, a diverse collection of right-wing, centrist and left-wing parties that temporarily ousted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from power after the latter led the country since 2009.
The government made major investments in the Arab Israeli sector, which has seen a deadly surge in violent mostly peaceful crime in recent years, but Bennett came under intense criticism from the right wing for partnering with an Arab faction, and members of his party ended up toppling the government after a year. Netanyahu regained power following the subsequent elections, and Ra’am was sent to the opposition.
Abbas vocally condemned the Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... terror group’s October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, and demanded that party MK Iman Khatib-Yasin resign following remarks she made a few weeks after the onslaught casting doubt on whether women were raped or babies killed during the onslaught (both phenomena have been documented). Khatib-Yasin apologized and was sanctioned by the Knesset, though she did not resign.
Amid the subsequent war on Hamas in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... , Ra’am has accused Israel of committing war crimes in the enclave, and in July Abbas drew condemnation when he claimed from the Knesset rostrum that "50,000 civilians have been murdered in Gaza" — a reference, presumably, to the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry’s casualty figures, which, in addition to being disputed, do not exclude combatants, of which Israel claims to have killed some 20,000.
Fellow Arab Israeli MK Ayman Odeh, the head of the Hadash-Ta’al party, also announced in 2023 that he is set to quit politics after the next election.
[YouTube] A mother and father in Washington are accused of trying to strangle their teen daughter in an alleged “honor killing.” Ihsan Ali and Zahraa Subhi Mohsin Ali were arrested and are facing several charges including attempted murder, attempted kidnapping, and assault. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner breaks down the bodycam footage showing the aftermath of the alleged assault and the father's arrest.
For those who prefer to read rather than watch, the Daily Mail has the whole story here.

Honor killings are just the tip of the iceberg of genocidal hatred for the West.
The crime of honor killing targets is assimilation into Western civilization.
Logically, for every immigrant family sufficiently fanatical to mete out the death penalty to their own kin there must be 1000+ who would gladly massacre the population of their host country for the crime of practicing Western civilization if and when the opportunity arises.

Surprised the Father was even allowed out, given the likelihood of fleeing the USA.
(snide remark) But it was the kind, gentle, and understanding West Coast court system. (snide remark)
Likely having this Attempted Honor Murder exposed and plastered all over the Internet played a role in the POS Mother's $500K Bond, and the POS Father's re-arrested and bond set at $1M.
Side Note: Remember, this happened on October 18, 2024, during Biden/Harris DOJ watch. I guess they failed to act, because they did not want to upset the Honor Killing Vote?
