[NYPOST] ''Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way,''Trump posted to Truth Social on Wednesday. /pal
''He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn't work!), but didn't care about the people of California. Now the ultimate price is being paid. I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to FLOW INTO CALIFORNIA! He is the blame for this. On top of it all, no water for fire hydrants, not firefighting planes. A true disaster!''
Newsom's director of communications Izzy Gardon told Fox Digital in response to Trump's Truth Social: ''We're focused on protecting lives and battling these blazes — not playing politics.''
''There is no such document as the water restoration declaration — that is pure fiction. The Governor is focused on protecting people, not playing politics, and making sure firefighters have all the resources they need,'' Gardon added.
Trump has a long history of putting Newsom's handling of wildfires under the microscope across his first four years in the White House, including in January 2019 when he threatened to cut off federal funds to California if reforms were not made to the state's forest management services.
''Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forest fires that, with proper Forest Management, would never happen. Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!'' he posted to X that year.

So how many of his Newcomers have lined up to volunteer disaster relief because they are excited and proud to be here? You know, since that is where all the emergency preparedness dollars went to.

Could these fires be caused by a person? Looking at the three separate areas where it first started, I would like to know where the first one started and are the second and third areas down wind?
[PJ] Trump-appointed District Judge Aileen Cannon blocked the release of Special Counsel Jack Smith's report on his investigations into Donald Trump and two of his employees.
The two investigations included mishandling classified documents and interference in the 2020 election. The hold in releasing the report is to allow the 11th Circuit Court to review the emergency motion by Trump’s codefendants, Walt Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira, who were charged in the mishandling of classified documents case with obstruction-related crimes.
Nauta and De Oliveira argued Monday that the release of the report would "irreversibly and irredeemably" prejudice them as defendants. Defense attorneys are also unhappy with the small number of redactions in the final report. The defense team also complained about the "limited-access" review of the draft over the weekend and that it "revealed a one-sided narrative arguing that the Defendants committed the crimes charged in this case."
Judge Cannon ruled last summer that the appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith was unconstitutional, making the prosecution of Donald Trump illegal. The ruling is being appealed and will likely end up before the Supreme Court.
"Releasing Smith’s report is obviously not in the public interest — particularly in light of President Trump’s commanding victory in the election and the sensitive nature of the ongoing transition process," Trump attorneys Todd Blanche and John Lauro said in a letter to Garland.

Tomorrow @ 9:30am is the make-or-break day for the Globalist Elites & Democrat Party, that are still trying to run things.
So, will Manhattan Judge Juan M. Merchan use, what many call a politically generated case and conviction, in order to keep an overwhelmingly elected President from taking office? Which might save a collection of political/$$$$ globalist elite's, D's / RINO's, and staff from having to answer to charges of treason, subversion and a wide collection of felony level crimes, and including murder(s)?
Or will he suddenly open his eyes, and understand the Greatest America Jury has spoken, the American Voters?

President JD Vance with special advisor Donald J. Trump free to wreak mischief unalloyed by legal responsibilities — think of the fun they could have!
[Julie Kelly] Alvin Bragg, Juan Merchan, Jack Smith, and Merrick Garland and others plan to work until the bitter end to undermine the "peaceful transfer of power" the Democrats love to talk about.
Despite a decisive victory representing at least a partial repudiation of the lawfare against him, President-Elect Donald Trump is spending money and time before Inauguration Day to fight politically-motivated judges and prosecutors in three criminal cases against him—an outrageous affront to American voters who elected Trump by a wide margin in November.
A New York appellate court judge just upheld Trump’s January 10 sentencing date set by Judge Juan Merchan in the business records case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in 2023. Merchan, a Democratic donor and father to the owner of a very lucrative Democratic consulting firm, is desperate to turn Trump into a convicted felon upon sentencing before he enters the White House.
Trump’s attorneys filed an application before the Supreme Court on Wednesday seeking a stay to the proceedings: Justice Sonia Sotomayor gave Bragg and Merchan until Thursday morning to respond.
[REDSTATE] One of the leading issues that Americans voted Donald Trump ...So far he's been unkillable, and they've tried.... back into office for was to close the southern border and deport millions of illegal immigrants colonists that the Biden administration has allowed into the country. Trump and his Border Czar, Tom Homan, have plans to do just that. Already, blue cities and states have vowed to fight the incoming Trump administration's efforts. But while they fancy themselves as the "resistance," shelters in those cities and states are filling up not only with illegal immigrants colonists but also rampant crime.
Among those shelters are the ones funded by the state government and reserved for families in the blue state of Massachusetts. Since at least 2022, there have been multiple incidents of serious crimes like child rape, drugs, physical assaults, and other crimes. As with other blue states, Massachusetts has doled out millions of taxpayer dollars to house illegal immigrants colonists. Records from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities show thousands of pages of what were called "serious reports."
Among some of the most egregious incidents was a man charged with drug trafficking, when it was discovered by police that he was carrying roughly 900 pills, 30 grams of cocaine, and ammunition. A girl was nearly kidnapped while taking out the trash, in June of this year; there was an alleged sexual assault involving a child, and perhaps the most vile, a father who sexually assaulted his daughter both on their journey to the U.S. and once they arrived, and impregnated her.
Massachusetts Governor Maura Healy (D) is a bit unwilling to call her state a sanctuary state, but there are plenty of sanctuary cities in the state. Boston is one of them. In 2024, the Boston Police Department received 15 civil requests from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) asking for cooperation with people facing deportation. Each one was refused.
[AMERICANTHINKER] Given the actual facts (a protest that got out of hand, not an insurrection; Capitol Police opening sealed doors; helpless people carried inexorably into Congress by the crowd; seeming operatives getting a pass; etc.), the question everyone ought to be asking is how Garland and the DOJ are justifying these official vindictive acts, which are as large in scope as great as any seen after the American Revolution or the Civil War.
The answer is by using the Big Lie. That's what Merrick Garland did today, right before Congress certified Trump's election:
On this day, four years ago, coppers were brutally assaulted while bravely defending the United States Capitol. They were punched, tackled, tased, and attacked with chemical agents that burned their eyes and skin. Today, I am thinking of the officers who still bear the scars of that day as well as the loved ones of the five officers who bit the dust in the line of duty as a result of what happened to them on January 6, 2021.
In fact, not a single Capitol Police officer died as a direct result of events on January 6. You only have to look at how carefully Garland phrased that emphasized sentence to understand how dishonest it is to say that they ''bit the dust in the line of duty as a result of what happened to them on January 6, 2021.''
Officer Brian Sicknick died of a stroke following January 6. The first lie that the media promulgated was that he died from blunt-force trauma. However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... even the New York Times
...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... was forced to admit that this claim was untrue.
There's also no evidence that, while Sicknick may have gotten some chemicals in his eyes, those chemicals caused him to have a stroke. After all, strokes are not a known side effect of bear spray. More importantly, the D.C. Medical Examiner conceded that Sicknick died of natural causes (a concession that finally came out after officials sat on the autopsy report long enough for the fake narrative to take hold).
But what about the other four officers? They did away with themselves. This act bespeaks mental health problems, and those are usually something long-standing, not something related to the events of a few hours.
Take the story of Jeffrey Smith. According to his wife, he said he was afraid that he was going to die on January 6. Given that fear, why would he kill himself just eight days later? It's true that he was struck on the helmet and got some pain pills. His wife said he was in constant pain after that—but again, people live with constant pain for years, with only some taking their lives. But eight days? Really?
The actual story behind Smith's and other officers' suicides is this: ''The families of Liebengood and Smith both sought to have them recognized as 'line of duty' deaths, which would afford their families enhanced benefits.'' It's all about the money.
Garland is a vile little weasel, except that weasels are cute and clever, while Garland is just a crude, mafioso-style enforcer. If I were Pam Bondi, I'd fumigate the office he used before occupying it.
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] The North Carolina Supreme Court on Tuesday in a 5-1 vote blocked the state from certifying Democrat incumbent justice Allison Riggs as the winner of the race as her GOP opponent, Jefferson Griffin, challenges the election.
As previously reported, North Carolina's Supreme Court race headed for a recount due to a close final tally as the Democrat pulled ahead two weeks after Election Day.
Democrat incumbent Sarah Riggs closed the race with 2,770,818 votes to GOP challenger Jefferson Griffin's 2,770,193 votes.
The race went to a recount since the vote difference is fewer than 10,000 votes.
Republican Griffin was leading the race until all of a sudden Democrat Riggs overcame her opponent weeks after the election.
President Trump won North Carolina by more than 3 percent over Kamala Harris once a marijuana-busting Caliphornia DA in the 2024 election but somehow the Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... took many down ballot races.
The Democrat incumbent is now ahead by 600 votes after late votes came in for the North Carolina Supreme Court seat.
Jefferson Griffin is challenging 60,000 ballots that should not have been counted, The Carolina Journal reported.
''As North Carolinians, we cherish our democratic process. Protecting election integrity is not just an option — it's our duty,'' Griffin said in a North Carolina GOP news release. ''These protests are about one fundamental principle: ensuring every legal vote is counted.''
…and only every legal vote.
RNC Chairman Michael Whatley joined Jefferson Griffin in filing hundreds of protests over the 60,000 ballots.
''The RNC and NCGOP have joined Jefferson Griffin in filing hundreds of protests over 60,000 ballots that should not have been counted in the NC Supreme Court race. Our attorneys are on the ground in-state,'' Michael Whatley said.
''The NC State Board of Elections failed to administer this election fairly. They have been inconsistent, uncooperative, and non-transparent throughout this process — but we will fight them every step of the way,'' Whatley said.
This case has been bouncing around between state and federal courts.
Earlier this week a federal judge sent the case back to North Carolina. The State Board of Elections appealed the decision to a federal appeals court. The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals has not issued a ruling yet.
On Tuesday, the North Carolina Supreme Court granted Jefferson Griffin's request and issued a temporary stay blocking the certification of the election.
[NYPost] Kamala Harris will travel to Singapore, Bahrain and Germany touting ‘accomplishments’ of Biden administration.
It’s not good-bye, it’s … who are you again?
Vice President Kamala Harris is set to embark on a whirlwind farewell tour next week that will take the vanquished 2024 Democratic presidential nominee to Asia, the Middle East and Europe in the final days of the Biden administration.
Harris, 60, is expected to meet with foreign leaders and US service members stationed in Singapore, Bahrain and Germany throughout the five-day trip, slated for Jan. 13 to Jan. 17, and trumpet her and President Biden’s exploits during their only term in the White House. Promising the payments will continue and confirming disruptive events starting next week.
“Throughout her trip, the Vice President will discuss the accomplishments of the Biden-Harris Administration over the past four years in each region, the U.S. partnership with the respective nations, the contributions of U.S. military forces to regional and global security, and the enduring national security interests of the United States,” the White House said in a statement Tuesday.
Good. It’ll keep her out from underfoot while the grownups continue preparing for their first day in charge. It’ll be interesting to see who shows up for her meetings.
Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will join Harris on her final world tour as vice president and “engage with civil society, including religious leaders and families of servicemembers,” the White House said.
Keeping him amused and out from under her feet while she does what she considers the real work — the usual political wife stuff, even though he used to be a partner in the international law firm that a great many major DC politicians work/worked for, and so could have contributed a great deal more.

As Law & Crime previously reported, the violation occurred when the prosecutor’s office, in response to an open records request, denied having any documents showing any communications with special counsel Jack Smith or members of the since-defunct House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
After hearing what Willis and her office had to say, the judge assessed an award of $21,578 in attorneys’ fees and costs for the plaintiffs, according to the court’s latest order, dated Jan. 3 but just released this week.
Only time will tell if there will be a Criminal Conspiracy charges for those involved.

[NYPOST] The liberal hosts behind ''Pod Save America'' trashed President Biden's Washington Post op-ed about January 6 as ''feckless'' and blasted the Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... for ''performing virtue'' after Vice President Kamala Harris What can be, unburdened by what has been certified Donald Trump ...His ancestors didn't own any slaves... 's election Monday.
''There's like an entire language that Democrats just need to f—king throw in the trash about like 'institutions,' 'democracy,' 'sacred this,''' said Jon Favreau, who served as one of former President Barack Obama I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody... 's speechwriters.
Biden warned on Monday that America risks a repeat of the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot if the history of the day is forgotten, and called on the country to ''commit to remembering'' the incident annually.
''But we should not forget. We must remember the wisdom of the adage that any nation that forgets its past is doomed to repeat it. We cannot accept a repeat of what occurred four years ago,'' Biden wrote.
Podcast co-host and former Obama speechwriter Jon Lovett claimed Biden misunderstood the quote about repeating history, coined by philosopher George Santayana, and went so far as to liken Biden to a ''stubborn old man.''
''If you're too mired in the past, if you become, this is from the original philosopher, stubborn like an old man, you also become doomed to repeat yourself,'' Lovett said.
''That's pretty on the nose,'' co-host and former Obama front man Tommy Vietor said.

America risks a repeat of the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot
Conveniently, California NG has been deployed to LA and New York NG, NYC.
[THEFEDERALIST] It's the year of our Lord 2025, which means we can leave the Constitution-threatening chaos of 2024 behind, right? Wrong!
Unless something is done to curb the democracy-destroying behavior of the Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... and the deep state, the future of the country is still very much hanging in the balance. Thankfully, a new calendar and a new administration mark another opportunity for Americans to take back what is rightfully theirs.
It won't be easy. And unlike your New Year's resolutions, these ''ins and outs'' should not be forgotten in a couple of weeks. But if they are executed correctly, it will be worth it.
Here are the trends and to-dos that Americans and the Trump administration should capitalize on to shape the nation for the better in 2025.
In MAKING AMERICA HEALTHY AGAIN
Americans are sick of being sick, and 2025 is the year that many of them are going to do something about it.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination to run the Department of Health and Human Services confirmed there is a cultural shift against chemical-laden food and pharmaceuticals — likely a continuation of the distrust of industries and agencies that arose during the Covid lockdown and jab era. Regardless of RFK Jr.'s confirmation, however, those crunchy community veterans or newcomers who are tired of being fat and unhappy will continue the quest to free themselves from the clutches of the nation's corporation-induced health crisis.
PRIMARYING SPINELESS REPUBLICANS
For years now, cowardly GOP congressmen and women have shown they are more than willing to further the blue party's spending goals, increase funding for the corrupt Department of Justice and FBI, and fulfill a gun control wish list. In fact, some Republican senators like Joni Ernst and Todd Young have toyed with torpedoing President Donald Trump ...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down... 's cabinet picks.
Twenty twenty-five may be an off-year for most congressional elections, but voters and grassroots organizations can still start thinking about how to primary the red party politicians who willingly betray their constituents to hand Democrats wins.
PURSUING COMPETENCY AND EFFICIENCY
For too long, agencies and departments have dictated how Americans live all while making it harder for them to do so. Reform, or in some cases annihilation, is more than necessary but doesn't simply start or stop with Trump's Department of Government Efficiency. The incompetent and corrupt babus bureaucrats who have weaponized themselves against the taxpayers who fund their salaries don't deserve Americans' trust and certainly don't deserve to be in positions of power.
PREPPING
One of the biggest news stories of 2024 was the Biden administration's flailing response to Hurricane Helene. The record-breaking flooding took hundreds of lives and destroyed countless homes and businesses, but the Federal Emergency Management Agency was too busy thumbing its nose at Trump supporters to render aid quickly and effectively.
The best way to fortify yourself and your family against disaster (natural or government-exacerbated) is to grow and store your own food, own and know how to shoot a gun, and stock your house and home with things Democrats want to ban, like gas-powered vehicles, tools, and generators.
Out PROSECUTING POLITICAL ENEMIES FOR PARTISAN REASONS
Democrats spent the majority of 2024 waging a lawfare war on their political enemies. Whether it was prosecuting Trump with the hopes that he would be discouraged or disqualified from running for president, arresting young and old for walking around the U.S. Capitol grounds on Jan. 6, 2021, and praying at child sacrifice abortion facilities, leading aggressive lawsuits against pregnancy centers, or prosecuting subway heroes, the blue party worked overtime to send anyone they deemed guilty of wrongthink to the clink.
In 2025, the people going to prison should be constitution-destroying deep state goons, not law-abiding Americans who love their country.
GERIATRIC POLITICIANS
Out with the old, in with the new — 2025 is the year that the gerontocracy that we call the U.S. must come to an end. As broken and elderly politicians like Sen. Mitch McConnell, Rep. Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments... , and President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier... are pushed (perhaps metaphorically, perhaps physically) out of leadership and government, younger, spryer options like senator-turned-Vice President J.D. Vance will take center stage. Americans frustrated by the mental deficiency plaguing the people tasked with representing them deserve better than the gaffes and walkers they are getting now.
'FACT-CHECKERS'
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg ...the Peewee Herman clone who owns Facebook. He's got more money than Croesus and thinks he should be regulated by the government because it does such a nifty job with all the other stuff it regulates.... recently announced that Facebook will do away with its partisan fact-checking program. His promise to rid the social media site of opinion-based censorship is not easily believed given Big Tech's long history of throttling conservative voices and ongoing commitment to quietly dealing out bans. Facebook's shift towards community notes, however, does emphasize the need for the censorship industrial complex that has waged war against Americans and outlets such as The Federalist for years to die a quick and painful death.
CORPORATE MEDIA
Years of hoaxing have tanked the propaganda press's reputation in the eyes of Americans. On the flip side, alternative media and podcasts, which no doubt played a role in the 2024 election, are more popular than ever. Gone are the days when Americans listened to liars for their information; here are days when they tune into truth-telling voices like The Federalist to break through the brainwashing.

One of the differences about mid-range podcasts as opposed to corporate media is the lack of producers and writers. The host is more likely to know something.

[DAILYSIGNAL] The Biden administration withdrew seven far-left proposed rules at the end of December, potentially due to receiving hundreds of thousands of critical public comments.
The withdrawals are being hailed as wins by conservatives, who have submitted comments against the rules, which would have compelled allowing male participation in girls sports, prohibited religious exemptions for birth control coverage, taken federal funding away from pregnancy resource centers, and more.
''On balance, withdrawing these rules is a win for everyone who submitted comments opposing them,'' Ethics and Public Policy Center fellow Rachel Morrison told The Daily Signal. ''It means these bad policy proposals by the Biden administration will not go into effect.''
''It won't require Congress to expend political capital to issue a [Congressional Review Act], it won't take time away from other important things that Congress is doing, and there doesn't need to be litigation by any advocates on these rules,'' Morrison explained, ''which allows them to have time and resources spent towards other things as well.''
The Congressional Review Act allows Congress to invalidate finalized rules at the end of an administration. If the Biden administration had finalized the rules, the Republican-majority Congress would have been able to effectively veto them, and Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... wouldn't have been allowed to submit the same rules in the future.
The Biden administration's intention in withdrawing the rules could be to ensure they can be resubmitted when Democrats regain control of Congress and the presidency.

[DAILYSIGNAL] What some see as a shot across the bow aimed at President-elect Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... , Pope Francis
...Argentine liberation theologist, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio. He was elected pope in 2013. Rather than setting up shop in Avignon, where he belongs, the first Jesuit Pope chose to reside in the Domus Sanctae Marthae guesthouse instead of the papal apartments. That was to show how humble he is. He is big on climate change, against consumerism, and in favor of throwing a blanket over homosexual activity within the clergy. He's not real sure about the Resurrection, about Christ's divinity, and a few other things that would have gotten him burned at the stake a few hundred years ago, but he's hot for a certain South American Earth Mother Goddess... announced Monday that left-wing Cardinal Robert McElroy of the Diocese of San Diego would be the next archbishop of Washington.
McElroy, 70, will succeed the retiring archbishop, Cardinal Wilton Gregory, 77, who shepherded the more than 600,000 Catholics who live in the nation's capital region.
Gregory has not been afraid to oppose child sacrifice abortion in the public square, but angered some Catholics with his restriction on the traditional Latin Mass. In a presser on Monday, Gregory thanked all ''the priests, deacons, and religious men and women who have offered themselves so tirelessly and selflessly in service to the faithful in our parishes, schools, and Catholic institutions.''
The Archdiocese of Washington is known for its influence not only in the halls of Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court, but also on young people through Catholic schools and universities within its jurisdiction.
The pope's pick for Gregory's successor is well-known for his advocacy on issues as wide-ranging as admitting women to the diaconate to allowing even those in grave sin to receive Communion, and it has garnered him no shortage of critics among his fellow priests.
But observers of the Catholic Church were quick to note that the position McElroy holds that will most put him at variance with the soon-to-be new occupant of the White House is illegal immigration.
McElroy did not shy away from the topic at the presser announcing his appointment.
''The Catholic Church teaches that a nation has the right to control its borders, and our nation's desire to do that is a legitimate effort. At the same time, we are called always to have a sense of the dignity of every human person. And thus, plans that have been talked about at some levels of having a wider, indiscriminate, massive deportation across the country would be something that would be incompatible with Catholic doctrine,'' the cardinal argued.
President Trump can be polite, but he isn’t likely to be moved by such a person.
[PJ] It is most certainly not against Catholic doctrine to deport large numbers of illegal aliens. In fact, governments have a moral duty to protect their people and enforce the law. But if some leftist Catholic bishops are worried about a crackdown on illegal migration, what they are really worried about is the prospect of losing huge amounts of government funding.
There is often confusion about what actually constitutes Catholic doctrine, and it is a fact that doctrinal pronouncements have to meet certain standards in canon law, which papal or episcopal pronouncements on illegal migration do not meet. But some Catholic bishops and organizations want that confusion to continue, including the new, pro-pedophile cardinal of D.C., because the United States government pours funding into Catholic organizations and dioceses that help resettle illegal aliens. That’s an uncomfortable truth that former papal nuncio Archb. Carlo Maria Viganò wants Americans to understand.
Responding to Washington, D.C. Cardinal Robert McElroy, who claims Catholic doctrine condemns mass deportations, Viganò posted, "The ’mass deportation’ of illegal immigrants is a decision that the State can legitimately take, and this is a principle dictated by Natural Law even before positive civil law or Canon Law."
