[FoxNews] The proposed lawsuit against the Secret Service takes aim at a reported agency goal to reach a 30% female workforce.
A nonprofit defending women's issues plans to sue the U.S. Secret Service for what it alleges is an "arbitrary" diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) initiative that harms female employees.
The proposed lawsuit from the Independent Women's Forum (IWF) comes more than two months after some pointed fingers at female USSS agents assigned to former President Trump's detail at his July 13 presidential campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, when a 20-year-old shooter gained access to a nearby rooftop and shot at Trump with an automatic rifle.
"In our country, it is illegal for the government to discriminate on the basis of sex. That is the Constitution's 14th Amendment," May Mailman, director of the group's Independent Women's Law Center, told Fox News Digital. "But also Title VII prohibits employers from discriminating on the basis of sex. And yet you have the Secret Service, of all agencies, saying that they want to have a 30% female quota."
A Secret Service spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the agency does not comment on pending litigation matters.

Security Dude looks a bit nervous or concerned.
I can't help noticing that around the 0:10 mark, there is a chick in the background. By her outfit, she is part of the security detail, but she seems rather on the short side for that line of work.
Perhaps it was Take Your Daughter to Work Day.
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Controversial mayor Tiffany Henyard and her boyfriend are reportedly being evicted from their home in Dolton, Illinois.
An eviction notice was filed against Henyard and her boyfriend, Kamal Woods, in Cook County Court.
They are said to owe over $3,300 in rent payments for their home on the 14600 block of South Harvard.
The document also alleges that Henyard, 41, has refused to have the property inspected.
The mayor's attorney told FOX32 that this information is untrue and that the couple has no outstanding rent payments.
This controversy comes after Henyard threw an $85,000 party for her town earlier this month even though she has been cut off from spending by the state for sinking her town into debt.
[The Federalist] Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron ordered in February former President Donald Trump to pay an approximate $450 million penalty in a civil fraud case in which there were no victims. Now, a New York appellate court is raising questions regarding the "troubling" penalty and Attorney General Letitia Jamesβ justification for bringing the case in the first place.
James accused Trump of inflating his personal wealth to get better loan terms. Trump, for example, valued his Mar-a-Lago estate at between $427 million and $612 million, Forbes reported. Engoron, however, cited a one-off local Palm Beach County appraiser who valued the property as low as $18 million. Some experts have reportedly valued the sprawling property in the hundreds of millions.
As my colleague Mark Hemingway explained earlier this year, "Trump took out loans over several years, as real estate moguls are wont to do. For him to get approved for those loans, the banks did their own due diligence about Trumpβs finances and ability to pay back the loans and decided to give them to him. Trump paid back the loans, and everyone made money."
Enogoron ultimately ordered Trump to pay $354 million plus an additional $100 million in interest. Trump posted a $175 million bond in April and appealed the ruling.

Walz’s claims in 2014 congressional hearing are a tall tale, video and local news reports show
At a 2014 congressional hearing held to mark the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, Tim Walz, then a congressman representing Minnesota’s first district, recalled being in Hong Kong when the Chinese Communist Party crushed the student protests that had roiled the country since mid-April of 1989. The unforgettable crackdown came on June 4 of that year.
"I was just going to teach high school in Foshan in Guangdong, and was in Hong Kong in May of ’89," he said. "And as the events were unfolding, several of us went in. And I still remember the train station in Hong Kong." He went on: "There was a large number of, especially European, I think, very angry that we would still go after what had happened, but it was my belief at that time that the diplomacy was going to happen on many levels."
That anecdote has since been repeated, without scrutiny, by the New York Times, CBS News, and National Public Radio, among others. In reality, local news reports show that Walz was at home in Nebraska in May and June of 1989, as protests convulsed China and the government’s response turned the world’s attention to its gross human rights violations. He wouldn’t depart for China until August.
Contemporaneous news reports show Walz touring a National Guard storeroom in Alliance, Nebraska, in May 1989. They indicate that Walz did not leave the United States until August of that year, at least two months after the student protests ended with the Tiananmen Square massacre.

Tim Walz's fabrications about his military rank, endorsement by the C O Commerce, his role in the Funding our Future fraud, location during Tiananmen, etc. should all have been public knowledge long ago.
It is because the leftist Star Tribune dominates Minn/St Paul and Mn/StP dominates the State that Walz has mostly escaped scrutiny until now.

[The Blaze] One state in the Democratic 'blue wall' could cost the Democrats the election.
A video obtained of a Michigan Democrat during a donor call undermined the media narrative that Democratic candidate Kamala Harris was safely ahead in the battleground state.
Harris is only about 1.4% ahead of former President Donald Trump in the RealClearPolitics average of polls for Michigan, and some polls included she is winning by as much as as 5%.
"I'm not feeling my best right now about where we are on Kamala Harris in a place like Michigan," said Slotkin in the video obtained by Axios.
"We have her underwater in our polling," Slotkin added.
However, according to Rep. Elissa Slotkin, a Michigan Democrat who is running for an open U.S. Senate seat, the Harris-Walz ticket is losing in their internal polling. She was speaking with Democratic Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey on a leaked video from a virtual fundraiser.

I get Slotkin mixed up with the stooge in Virginia. Congress is like a Roach Motel for spooks and neer do wells.

You have polls for the rubes and you have your own internal polls. If the polls for the rubes told the truth then nobody would want to risk their money on campaign contributions.

I am a reflexive reader.
I hear the silent words.
Everytime I see this I hear:
"We have her underwear in Poland".
[The Blaze] After the weaponization of Bidenβs DOJ β where peaceful pro-life activists and attendees of January 6 were jailed β it should come as no surprise that Democrats want to crack down harder on American citizens.
Recent comments made by Virgin Islands delegate Stacey Plaskett on the weaponization of the federal government couldnβt have made that more obvious.
"Itβs necessary for the public and the media to try and provide cover for the eradication of the Department of Justice and the FBI," Plaskett said, claiming without these agencies there would be no checks "against white nationalism, great replacement theorists, Christian nationalists, white fragility, fascists, and the twice-impeached convicted felon former President, and would-be dictator, Donald Trump."
FBI whistleblower, Steve Friend, believes Plaskett reflects "entirely what theyβre all interested in."

I use to ask why Congress refused to use the 25th.
Then I came to see and understood Harris is far more controllable, because she does not have a Dr. Jill.
This is the most VEEP-like photo ever -- pretending to be on a phone call but forgetting to plug in the antiquated earphones while pretending to write on a blank piece of paper instead of actually doing anything. https://t.co/tkzHPplKhe
