I suspect if they attempt to delay the election, the war to the knife begins. I don't think the people or the states will stand for that. I really don't think the democrats understand the magnitude of the cliff edge they are dancing on.

Harris can nominate a replacement VP if Joe is removed, but the nomination has to be confirmed by both houses with hearings. No way Congress approves a replacement before the election. That would put their own employment status in the hands of the American people.
